    A real game-changer!
This podcast is for anyone and everyone, especially if you struggle with any part of your sexuality. The episode on orgasm had me ugly crying in car because finally I felt seen, normal. Emily and Mo are kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I’m now reading the book and look forward to getting into all of Nagoski’s published work!

    Shame
It’s a shame this podcast went behind a pay wall it was really good with good content and very informative. But alas it is no more.

Engaging and informative, but Shameless Sex
One of the best features of this delightful podcast is the approachable vibe of the hosts. That is why, eg, the octogenarian felt comfortable expressing himself in the last episode of season one. But then they plugged an episode from an allegedly kindred podcast, Shameless Sex, with the opposite vibe: off putting, self congratulatory, and oh so LA. Was this really one of your favorite episodes? Or did they pay you to promote? I hope you’re not going in this direction with your second season.

    Sex crimes against children promotion
Podcast continuously references experiments that we’re done on children. The Kinsey institute has well known experiments done on children in the name of science. They’re documents and evidence states children’s ages. The information gathered from these monsters shouldn’t be promoted.

    This is freedom
Hallelujah! There is a place to go to learn/explore about my body, my pleasure, my sex— without judgment or patriarchy. I am 54, and come to this age sadly under educated and fearful about my body, desire and pleasure. About a year ago I started listening to podcasts that would help me break down my walls and discover something more. This podcast, and a few others….wow, just wow. I am so much freer, happier, and satisfied. I heard Emily Nagoski interviewed in many of my favorite podcasts and now she has her own. Bravo!!

    Question
Love the show. I had called in to the hotline about sex toy recommendations. I’d love to hear this question answered!

    Living for the sex positivity
I was wondering about Mo and her parter and if they went to that orgy after all. Can we get a follow up episode? They’re a cute couple and I want to know if they went or not and how it went!!!!!!!!

how do I convince my husband to listen with me????
if he knew this was all science based I think it would make a big difference in his willingness to participate differently and help our sex life. i wish he would give it a listen with me. thanks for the help in the meantime. this is life changing information

    Great show!
I first found Emily through Netflix’s principals of pleasure documentary, and really appreciated her levity around the subject of sex. Since then I’ve been slowly working through each of her books and am so glad to see she’s made a show we can interact with as an audience! I submitted this question through the hotline but I’ll give it another boost here: how do I learn how to squirt? Is it possible to learn??

    FOR MEN TOO
I’m very disheartened to read these reviews saying that this show is “only for women” and “man-hating” that is NOT true! I’m a man in my 20s and have been learning a lot from this podcast.

    Big fan
Emily I love your work, keep it up girlfriend ;)

Can you do an episode on sex after childbirth?
I love this show and I would love to hear about sex after childbirth. It took me longer than “it’s supposed to” to feel sexy again. I was shamed by my doctor and husband about this but listening to this show, I am just coming to terms with the fact that maybe my body was responding normally

The sex in long term relationships episode was so great- thank you for making it! I really feel for the man who called in and I appreciate you taking time to talk about sex and aging. Me and my wife listened.

I hope there’s an infinite number of seasons and episodes and guests on this show! I loved the opener with Adrienne and would love to hear more from her and Emily

    Just SO amazing and informative
This podcast is absolutely incredible. Emily is so enthusiastic in her mission to help people feel better in their bodies by better understanding them. Her progressive approach to gender, especially as it relates to sexuality, is incredibly helpful. And I’m so impressed to hear her centering the work and scholarship of Black women and other often marginalized voices. Five stars. Bravo. I’m a fan for life!

    Some fact checks, please?
Love, love, love the book. I mostly like the podcast, too. The producer I could do without. Emily alone would be better than having Mo as a co-host. The “How to Improve Your Orgasm” episode had a false statement about urine being sterile. This is what prompted me to write a review.
  • emilyannelmore
    Wow
I wish I had listened 25 years ago!
  • nppVoter
    Well intended
Brilliant, even-handed sex scholar interviewed by humorless man-hater who talks too much using academic cliches and rants about men in bed. If you want to feel your skin to crawl, stick around long enough to hear her talk about culture. I’ll look for the scholar elsewhere.
  • illinokie
    For women only
Thus far, the podcast appears to be wholly focused for women. It does not offer anything of value for men nor address any issues from men’s perspectives. That’s a shame. Men need advice too.

Feeling so empowered by this education
Loved this podcast! It’s so new & I’m already hooked. It’s not just the information provided, but it’s the open minded, assessable language with lighthearted tone, that keeps me so engaged & excited to learn more. Sending this to all my friends! Than you, thank you, thank you!

    Listen to this pod!
This podcast is like the lesson we all never got from our parents or health teachers that we should have. I feel so seen in so many different ways! I appreciate how well Emily and Mo take such taboo subjects and break them down into such simple concepts that don’t feel taboo as they discuss them. Love it!

    Love this!
I heard Emily as a guest on the You Up? podcast and actually stopped that episode part way through to go listen to every available episode of this podcast. It’s so interesting and educational and in each episode I learn something that is truly mind blowing. I will say, this podcast makes me increasingly angrier at the sex “education” I received (I.e., didn’t receive) in public school in the late 90s and early 00s, but I’m so glad to have found Emily to teach me everything I missed out on! It’s like having a very wise aunt or sister gently but directly answering all the sex questions I never wanted to ask.

    Shoutout to this crew!
Thank you to the wonderful producers who make this show happen 💋

    Yes!
It is so refreshing to listen to a conversation about sex that is both deeply scientifically grounded but also FUN, and puts pleasure at the center of it all. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!

    A must listen!
Emily and Mo make this pod feel like a very safe space to discuss anything under the sun. Dr. Emily is so knowledgable and Mo is incredibly warm and inviting. Together they have made magic!
  • beccasteph
    Like the sun coming out
I’m 1 episode in and this podcast has already felt like a warm bath and the sun coming out from behind the clouds. So many moments in just the first episode made me say “omg, yes!” And “that’s exactly how I feel.” So excited for further episodes. If you loved CAYA or Burnout, you’ll love this podcast. And even (especially) if you haven’t read either, give it a listen - you won’t regret it!

    Thank you Emily!!!
So relatable and helpful. Emily doesn’t use jargon or science as a weapon; it’s just super clear and easy to adapt to your own life. Thank you!!

Feels like listening to a super knowledgeable friend. Entertaining and fascinating. Answers to all the questions I’ve been afraid to ask. I want to hang out with Emily and Mo in real life! Thanks for helping me unlock more fulfilling intimacy!
  • sargeant45
    Soooo Excited!
I am delighted to subscribe to this podcast! Emily makes you feel like you are talking and listening too that slightly more experienced girlfriend where anything is possible, no topic is taboo. We are all beautifully normal.

Amazing content for grown ups who haven’t had anywhere to go for answers since Dr Ruth retired.
