    Always Worth My Time
A perfect podcast: Engaging topics and guests with a host who is sharp and gracious. Even if I’m not interested in a featured location, I still listen to the episode because I learn so much and inevitably pick up travel tips. Arthur Frommer is a hero for how he made travel more accessible to all, and his daughter was with him much of the way. I’m grateful for this podcast and all Pauline Frommer’s contributions to encourage and enhance our travel experiences.

    The Best
I love this show. Frommer's has always had a practical, accessible approach to travel. Pauline's passion for and knowledge of this world is magnetic. Great guests. And so affordable to listen!

    Not your average travel podcast
This is such a great podcast. Obviously, the host Pauline Frommer has a lifetime of travel knowledge gained from her own experiences and being raised by the legend, Arthur Frommer. In addition to this, her guests are knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. Favorite episode so far is the one with guest Eliot Stein talking about his book and the people (barely) keeping ancient traditions alive. It’s not just about what they do, but the deeper meaning behind it.

    Politics bad
If I want liberal drivel I can turn on CNN. I want travel news and this podcast has little of it

One of the best travel podcasts!
The Frommer’s Travel Show is a must listen for any traveler. Pauline is entertaining and gives great advice for those who want to get the most out of their travels.

    Always informative
I’ve been listening for many years and always learned something new even after traveling to 6 continents. May I wish you a hearty bon voyage!

    Too political
Leave politics out of your podcast. Travel is meant to bring people together. We don’t want to hear your political opinion while listening to travel tips. Unfortunately your speech at the recent Chicago travel show also contained numerous political jabs, which was disappointing.

    Invaluable Travel Resource
I look forward to The Frommer Travel Show every week! It’s at the top of my list of favorite podcasts. Pauline Frommer provides essential travel information like whether airline loyalty programs are a pyramid scheme or which travel sites have the best deals. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and has great guests. As an avid traveler, I’d be lost without this great resource!

    Yes!
Frommer’s Travel Show podcast has a wide range of guests and topics. With wit, knowledge, and up-to-date information, the show touches on topics from turbulence while flying, recommended travel spots for a range of palates and budgets to travel memoirs, work travel ideas, and so much more.

    So informative
I’m always looking for podcasts that are engaging and informative, and this one is both. The host is super knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. A great way to keep up with trends in travel and know which pitfalls to avoid.

    Great Ideas for Travel
I love that Pauline understands that travel is a people-oriented industry - not just a business. Her advice is always so specific and inspiring - she makes you feel the true adventure of travel!
  • Jack McConaughy
    Great conversation!
Great conversation—about travel, of course, but also broader concerns and current events! I always learn so much!

    Meh
Very high, audio quality so points for that. Meh. That’s all I got l for the actual content.

    Charming, informative
I enjoy this podcast immensely (and not just because Pauline Frommer invited me to be on it!). Pauline is a charming host - very natural and at ease with her guests. I learn a lot from listening. Now that the world is beginning to open up again, it's helpful to hear the various topics she brings up and gives me - and I'm sure most of her listeners - lots of ideas about traveling again.

    Love this show!
So informative and fun. It's the best travel podcast out there
  • EtienneDolet
    Such a good show
Pauline is such a warm and informed interviewer.
  • CaliforniaExpert
    Good information, but too political
I like this show and the information, and listen to it weekly. However, once in a while Pauline gets a little too political and it turns me off the show. I think it would benefit her brand not to make snide comments about the other political party when it really has nothing to do with travel. That said, I enjoy most of the episodes. Update: After writing this review, I just read in the podcast reviews that many other people have complained about the same thing. Pauline, wake up. You are turning off half the population.

    Please add show notes
This podcast is fantastic! Pauline is a great interviewer, and also a great story teller. Fantastic guests, and they talk about places exotic and local we may not realize are a great trip. It would be so helpful to add show notes of the wonderful places mentioned! Please consider.

    Theme song?
    Thanks!

    Loving the new podcast,
It started after the radio show ended and is more freewheeling now that they don’t have to worry about radio formats. Fascinating subjects and guests, really enjoyable. In fact, I’d say it’s by far the best of the travel podcasts I listen to, and one of the best overall
  • LAnewsguy
    Good content, wrong format
Listening to this show is a pleasure, and these two do an excellent job of breaking down travel topics that matter and securing informative, entertaining guests. Pauline should ditch the radio show and shift to a true podcast format that’s not bound to a clock. The program is riddled with poorly timed interruptions, often as the guest is in mid-thought and about to reach the climax of some thrilling travel anecdote. Many other hosts would simply go a little over the allotted time and make it up in the next segment, provided they’re not up against the hard out-time at the end of the hour. I’m nit picking here. This is an excellent show hosted by two of the industry’s top experts, and is well worth a listen for the thinking traveler.

    Like a Box of Chocolates
I never miss a chance to hear Pauline speak in person. She is so knowledgeable! The Frommers are such travel experts that I enjoy the podcasts. However, it would be helpful to see episode summaries on line. I’d like to know the guests and travel destinations before I invest the time listening. This podcast is like a box of chocolates—you never know what you’re going to get.
  • suzygrand99
Enjoyable but could tweak it a bit
Overall I enjoy listening to the news and helpful hints in the world of travel that the show presents. I find it funny how after all these shows, Pauline has yet to learn how to give her interviewees a heads up that only a minute or thirty seconds are left before they have to cut to commercial. She does a good job with the interview until she cuts the guest off abruptly like a soup nazi. I also find it ironic how each show she ask us listeners to contact them on social media. I DM’d then on Instagram a few months ago and heard no response. Arthur sounds really cute on air and I find his rants entertaining.

    Excellent
The Frommers Travel Show is the best travel podcast I listen to. Authoritative-no one know more about travel. Plenty of helpful travel tips you can use, lively and interesting guests that get you excited about planning your next trip. I couldn’t go running without listening to the show. Oh- I noticed some reviews saying the show was to political— i’ve listened to almost every show and the show is not political at all!
  • AddisonAnne
    Leave the politics out
Please just stick to travel topics and leave your own political opinions out. There is enough trolling out there without you two adding to the divisiveness.
  • Yllusc
    Too much politics and opinions.
I love to hear the travel topics, but way too much politics and opinions. Stick with travel topics for your travel show please.
  • HvlDK
    Too political
I used to never miss a podcast but it’s now too political for me
  • Gait530
Love these two, but technical issue
I love these two and the show they provide. I look forward to listening to the podcast and the great info every week. It is so much fun. For the last two weeks, hour two has been a total repeat of an old and past weeks show. Is this intended? Or is it an accident and I am missing out on the second half of the show? I hope it will be fixed next week and I can revise and give the 5 stars it deserves.

    Politics and politics
Arthur, Keep up your political harranges! You know that nobody on the internet is talking about Trump. I can get travel news anywhere, but we look to you for political guidance.
  • Valerielistens
    Informative and enjoyable
Arthur Frommer and his daughter host the show and they are of course extremely knowledeable. Arthur Frommer is a living legend and it is wonderful he is still working and providing this helpful information. I had listened to them for several years on the radio and was happy to find them again on this podcast. The only criticism is there is constant bickering between father and daughter. It is sometimes funny but often time a little annoying. Worth listening to get inspired and forpractical travel tips.
