luv2travel67Fun Travel PodcastLove this podcast. Great tips and a fun conversational podcast!

rick45678Decent tips, but…5 ads within an episode under 15 minutes. That’s a lot. Maybe find some other creative ways to monetize.

Lambert Luver 19Heed their advice with a grain of salt…I initially started listening to Travel Squad while planning my upcoming trip to Japan. I thoroughly enjoyed their episode on Tokyo & Kyoto and believed it gave really great insight/tips - that was until I started listening to episodes on places where I have lived and visited. Unfortunately their episode on Greece totally blew me away with how inaccurate the information was. I travel to Greece every year as my husband’s family is from Poros and they have a summer home there. Telling listeners that there really isn’t much to do in Athens is SO WRONG. I could give you pages of things to do, places to visit, restaurants, experiences, shopping, etc. Knowing how truly vibrant and amazing Athens really is, the episode definitely made me disappointed. I also listened to the episode on Charleston, South Carolina - as if the Greece episode wasn’t disappointing enough, this episode was AWFUL. As a SC and Charleston native, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. So many inaccuracies when talking about history, things to do, dining - they obviously did very little research before recording. All that to be said, I know everyone has a right to their own opinion, but PLEASE take their advice with a grain of salt. From what I’ve heard, it’s just not good advice! Give people accurate information before steering them away from INCREDIBLE places!

Squad for the win!Funny, clever & informative travel podcast!I love listening to Brittanie, Jamal & Kim (and Zaina!) share stories & info about their trips, national parks & travel tips. They are funny & I’ve learned a lot about different destinations, travel hacks, travel products - and everything in between!

Doctor’s wifeNew listener & love it!I just started listening to this podcast and I find it so fun and entertaining, inspirational, and super helpful for travel planning. You talk about places I’ve been, places I aspire to go to, and ideas for new places and events that had never occurred to me! I love listening to your adventures as well as the just the tips and advice about travel. Thank you!

vb me!Great for Daydreaming!I have an upcoming trip to Lake Tahoe and stumbled upon the Lake Tahoe episode. Since then, I subscribed and have listened to several episodes. It’s a great listen and helps me daydream about possible future trips. Y’all almost lost me on the Fredrickburg episode when you were listing great bbq and didn’t mention Memphis first 😂 all in all, a great listen.
-
Lemur HouseEntertaining, real travel adviceThis is my favorite travel podcast because they address the real issues travelers need to know—like what to expect from the bathrooms and the exceptional items at McDonald’s (I hope that doesn’t sound sarcastic). They’ve given incredible tips that I’ve used most recently in Argentina and Brazil. And it’s fun to listen to.
-
DP travelsGreat..Amazing content! I only wish there was a version with pg language. I Don’t feel good listening to it with my kids in background in the car.

finn1381Animal cruelty is not funny, uneducated hosts and only the most basic travel infoI wanted to like this podcast but certain things are just unacceptable. The hosts seem focused mostly in snapping pictures for their Instagrams instead of actually learning about the locations they visit. They were shocked there were no Western style bathrooms for them in the middle of their Serengeti jeep tour. Are you kidding, it’s a preserved natural area not Disney World you fools. No visit to the Doge Palace in Venice because they charge to enter? No mention of the city’s centuries of history as a world trading center, their artistic legacy, or the current concerns for over tourism and the impact of climate change? Apparently all they did was visit the Basilica and take photos on the Rialto because it was free. Any five minute read on a decent travel blog would have you a better sense of the city. Similarly, the Dakotas road trip name drops General Custer but makes no mention of native peoples and their forced relocation to and from the Badlands area except to say they refused to pay the entrance fee to the visitor center at the Crazy Horse memorial. If they had bothered to enter, they would have received some obviously needed education on the area’s native peoples and would have contributed to the funding of the unfinished memorial that they found disappointing when viewed from the highway but instead they paid to visit Mount Rushmore and talk about it for 30 minutes. Joking and laughing at the monkeys forced to pose with tourists in Morocco and literally laughing about “what they guy must have done to the monkey” to train it. Abuse, that’s what was done. And it’s not amusing. I’m sure they also rode elephants and handled tiger cubs because hey, animal abuse doesn’t matter if you get a good Instagram post out of it!!! This is not a podcast for any conscientious traveler interested in more than a surface level overview of a location. If you can read, you’re better off just reading travel blogs for better advice.

Melissa CB (GA)Love this Travel Podcast!Always so much great information and honest reviews. I love the tips you’re not hearing anywhere else like the parking App for Iceland. These guys have so much travel knowledge and I love learning about exploring new places from them! ❤️
-
Dlynn44One of the best travel podcasts I have found! These guys are the best at giving great travel information. Lots of details on hiking trails, places to eat, hotels to stay at as well as great tips on gear, flights and rental cars. I also appreciate how they get right to the episode. There are soo many podcasts that spend 15-20 minutes talking about nothing. Keep up the great work Jamal, Brittanie & Kim! I can’t wait to hear about your next adventure.
-
Pearl Ann 96Great resource!I love listening to this podcast whether prepping for a trip or to just get ideas for future travel. I enjoy the recommendations and detailed info about their travel experiences.
-
Political DoulaBest travel tips by far!I have been listening for several years and absolutely love this group! They all bring distinct travel personalities that adds to the content they’re giving the listener. I appreciate their quick tips as well as extended episodes about travel destinations. Love the info they give on national parks-used much of it for a few trips out west. Also have purchased their podcast course which helped me launch my own podcast back in April. $50 I think for that course and worth every penny!!!
-
Ginny B24So helpful!I love this podcast. The tips, advice are so helpful! Can’t wait to use them the next time I book my flight - and hopefully save $$!
-
C2717changed how I travelso grateful for this podcasts. I picked up so many tips & trips that will forever change how I travel. The hosts are genuinely a joy to listen to.

-
Megamegs12Relatable and funLove the squad and their stories. They’re relatable and fun, I love tang they cuss and tell jokes and make you feel like you’re on the trip with them! I want to join them on a trip soon!
-
montgomeryelizabethI’ve listened to every episode! The squaddies are so fun, listening to them feels like I’m hanging out with friends! I love that they do a combo of national park & nature/cities/international travel because most podcasts are only focused on one of those. They also approach travel super practically and take into account different price points, time off, and life styles, and each of them is interested in slightly different things so they have recommendations for everyone. I listen to the episodes faster than they can put them out!
-
Cornhusker55YikesVery immature production.
-
Krista9638The BEST!Jamal, Kim and Brittanie have become my go-tos for all things travel! They provide so many helpful hacks and tips for planning trips. Between all three of them, there is SO much knowledge they offer that can save you both money and time on your next vacation. Thankful I came across this podcast!
-
bigtimeCrush LH ks cp jm <3The Only Travel Podcast That Matters!!In a world of extremely boring travel podcasts, meet the Travel Squad Podcast! Jamal, Brittanie, and Kim are like your best friends who travel the world and want to help you join in the fun! They are extremely informative and in-depth with planning, however the podcast is casual in nature and so funny! Rather than listing boring facts they tell you where the coolest spots are and even give you a little history, but in an exciting way. They seriously saw their opportunity and took it! You can even chat with them through socials, buy their recommended gear, get their newsletter with deals, or join their trips! Thanks for being my number one podcast!!
-
TheBiggestKittenLoverLove it!Love this podcast! You guys are super kind and funny! So excited to learn your hack!

DeeLynndGreat information every time!I just listened to your podcast on the Great Smokey Mountains, which included great hiking information. I love that you included Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and places to eat, distillery info and the climate when you were there. We are getting ready to schedule a trip there so all your tips were soo helpful. Thanks again!

Karley6543Funny, interesting, and informativeThis is a great travel podcast! Others ones I have listened to haven’t been able to hold my interest, but these guys are great! They are funny and always have great recommendations. I love listening to them to prepare for my upcoming trips to places I would not have otherwise.

Kohl8363My “Go-To” Travel PodcastI discovered The Travel Squad Podcast last summer when I was planning my solo 30th birthday trip to Tulum! I found TSP’s Tulum episode and found it so incredibly helpful for my trip! Since then I have scoured the episodes and been so inspired so plan sooo many more trips! The Squad’s banter is entertaining and their itineraries and advice for each location they discuss is well thought out. They touch on all the hot topics for each destination and really get you excited to hear about their adventures. This is one of my favorite podcasts 😊
-
noneyanoneya123487278482$83&3F bombs are unnecessaryThis podcast has good information and is interesting to listen to. However, the frequent use of F bombs is unnecessary and makes the show sound unprofessional. I wouldn’t listen to this show when kids are present and would be cautious about recommending it to others because of the language.
-
MoscatolifeLight hearted and fun showI love listening to this travel podcast! So many great ideas and I love the lighthearted banter
-
Great chemistry!!Perfectly Done!I’ve been obsessed with travel podcasts lately in light of my upcoming trip to the Far East. A lot of podcasts are clumsy and the audio is terrible - always turning the volume up and down is tiring. These three have a great chemistry, are not PC (it’s more real), and are super helpful! This is one of my go-to’s now and I’m glad there’s so much to dive into. Thanks you guys for all your help and keep the episodes coming!! -Chris
-
caseyj925London episodeMy husband and I are planning a trip to London this fall, so I’ve been listening to some podcasts in order to gain tips and recommendations while we’re there. I stumbled on the London episode of this podcast, and although the info was great, I couldn’t help but cringe at the strange mispronunciations throughout it! Anyone who’s been to grade school should know that the “th” sound in Thames is actually pronounced as a “t”, and that choral is pronounced like coral. It also took me several minutes to realize they were were talking about the show “The Tudors” because they kept pronouncing it “two doors”. I’m not sure if there’s a geographical component to how they pronounce things, but it makes them sound uneducated and I just couldn't get past it. Probably won’t be tuning in regularly.
-
EleanorTragoMillsPronunciation is a shameGood info but pronunciation is embarrassing. For example, river Thames (London episode) should be pronounced “Temz” and should not rhyme with “flames” nor start with a “th” sound. Also “choral” sounds like “coral” not “chorrel.” Can they really have gone to London and still not know this? Should edit podcast after running it by a native. Or interact with someone in London, perhaps a tour guide, who is not American. Even a proper US education should graduate students who know how to pronounce “Thames.”
-
nsiibeggahakTravel Squad groupie 💁🏼♀️Totally not even writing this 5 star review for the upgrade travel hack 😉😉😉… these guys are 5 star!! I look forward to every time I pop my headphones and turn the travel squad on- so many good tips which are so useful and good inspo! Using so many tips for our upcoming trip to London, Paris & Venice.
-

E5788Great Tips and Fun Hosts!I love this podcast. It's like comfort food at my work (My job is quite solitary and allows me to listen to hours of audio based content) Found this podcast when I was looking for Las Vegas travel tips. One episode and I was hooked! I'm a seasoned roadtripper but I still learn new tips and tricks. The squad is so fun and their banter makes listening to their travels very engaging. The format is easy to follow, and, even with a group, they don't talk over each other so it's not confusing or overwhelming. Also, it's so fun just hearing about their adventures, step by step. Very detailed and inspiring. Only Problem... So many amazing destinations, I can’t decide where to vacation next!
-
jjschaeffskiMy favorite travel podcastI can’t believe I just found this podcast a month ago. I have bInge listened to a ton of their episodes and they have easily become my favorite travel podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable and hilarious and give out some awesome tips. Can’t wait to listen to more of their episodes.
-
dejaferiaFinally a energetic and fun travel podcast!I love this podcast because they are so fun and energetic. Most travel podcasts are monotone and boring with just one point of view. I love that there’s 3 of them bc they each give a unique perspective and great tips. I look forward to each Travel Tuesday and hearing all about destinations or tips they have.
-
Meg1234563425Great HacksJust listened to the travel hacks episode and loved the VPN trick, definitely going to give that one a try! Was helpful to hear a new strategy!
-
pulm/cc fellowEntertaining travel tipsI found this podcast when searching for previews to our Japan trip. I’ve kept listening since to get inspiration for new trips. Erica KeelSo helpful for trip planning! This podcast is one of my staples. I use it for trip ideas, planning and getting the inside scoop. I love the squad aspect and that we get different perspectives. They go above and beyond to share detailed info so you can know before you go. Definitely recommend!
