    …and I’m not a rapper
I’ve found every episode I’ve ever listened to relatable and/or entertaining despite not being an artist myself. Production is very high end and the discussions flow very well.

Very unique topics from the underground / independent artists. A breath of fresh air.

Great advice and entertainment from 2 friends
I never would of thought that when I was listening to Soul Position and Unforeseen Shadows back in college, that I would one day find a podcast where these dudes were dropping gems that’s relatable to anyone and helped me organize my career. I have paraphrased points that Print has made to organize myself on drawn out conference calls. There is so much excellent relatable content for anyone. I particularly liked the “Greener Grass Syndrome” episode which helped me decide whether to quit my job and what to consider. Also: “How Jadakiss destroyed Dipset”episode, which is the first episode I heard and got me organized to fight in the boardroom. Recently they motivated me to do a 90 day challenge that helped me make a change in employers, develop my fitness again and study Spanish on DuoLingo every day. Not normally this long winded… but this podcast is worth your time and energy!

Seriously, Blueprint is the man and Illogic keeps it smoooth AF! The subject matter is on point. This is for anyone who wants to know more about the behind the scenes antics of Hip Hop. Or for Headz. Two people completely devoted to the culture giving you their two cents on how to succeed.

    Thank you guys!
I needed this so bad! 37 year old artist here, and currently listening to episode 60 Why Hip-Hop Needs Adult Rappers. I have been binge listening to this show for like 2 weeks straight now, and will most definitely keep listening. The most valuable source for knowledge regarding mastering the crafts of writing and producing. I am using this show to, in a sense, put myself through school on the road to releasing my first big project and eventually touring. I have attended music business courses that could touch this. Thank you guys!
  • Tee_Little
    I Didn’t Get Jerked!!
Yoooooo, the most recent episode was super real and funny. Blueprint’s anecdote about the real estate deal was funny. The way he approached it was similar to how he talked with J-Zone about going through something horrible and coming out in the other side and being able to laugh at it. You will not be disappointed by this podcast. I travel...a lot...and I just put on this podcast and ride out. Awesome work, gentlemen!!!
  • MexiMumbles
    J-Zone Cheat Code for life!!

    An Excellent Podcast
This isn't just a dope podcast about hip hop. This isn't just an informative podcast about being in the creative field or being self employed. This is just an excellent podcast period. This is an honest podcast and anyone can learn valuable life lessons from it. Keep up the excellent work, which I become more eager for every new episode.
  • Art Morera
    Dope!
Blueprint and Illogic have dope chemistry discussing whatever the topic is. Anyone that was a fan of their music and the era of hip hop they were big names in will appreciate and enjoy listening to them on this podcast.

Rappers We're Supposed to Like But Don't
Thank you! Thanks for being honest. And though I don't totally agree with all of your selections, I do agree with some of the big ones (I never got Biggie... he's number one on my list). But the honesty is refreshing. Good show, guys.

    Helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This podcast is a great listen and helpful AF. The podcast has help me identify what I am doing right but more importantly, what I am doing wrong. Not only did you help me identify my mistakes, you guys offer solutions, advice and proper tools to help navigate all kinds of situations. That is what I appreciate the most. Episodes like “Five things that happen when you share your work” reinforced the fact that I need to promote more. The episode, “avoiding people who aren’t serious” is the perfect checklist I use as reference to identify people I need to stay the hell away from. Thank you both, Blueprint and Illogic for sharing your stories and real helpful advice. Much Love Hugo Monster

    Best Advice Podcast
I love this podcast SO much. The episode on how to be a better writer was life-changing. An advice podcast of this quality for free...?! Unbelievable. Give it a listen you’ll see what I mean!
  • Heiku575
    Solid work y’all
The advice episode was soooo needed and on time for me since I’m in the middle of writing a book now. Several of the lessons I already knew but it’s great to be reminded and have them reiterated in your head. Do me a favor... keep peeps updated on the number of beats you’ve made in the new year. A beat a day is a dope goal, I might have to take u up on.

    Episode 124 is what’s up!
Thanks blueprint and illogic for the dope and intelligent conversation. You guys put some deep perspective and knowledge in on episode 124. For those book nerds like myself this psychology is fact and it’s well described in the book “Leadership and Self Deception” which I just read. Quick read. Peep it. Enjoying the show! Peace and respect! Dr.Selr77 @2x2hiphopfest

    Informative, Entertaining, & Uplifting.
I'm a huge fan of Blueprint's music, which led me to his podcast. Blueprint & Illogic are great hosts; they drop gems of wisdom while cracking jokes & revealing the highs & lows of being an independent musician. I also enjoy the fact that each episode has a theme; it makes the show feel focused & organized. This is a podcast worthy of your time, especially if you're a musician at any level.

    Indispensable Resource
This podcast has become an informal education in music, creativity, entrepreneurship, and perseverance. I never miss an episode since I've discovered it.

    Valuable and Hilarious.
Those most infamous! Print & Illogic combine the goofin' off humor you share with your closest friends with helpful guidelines for both artistry and simply to live by. I can't tell you how many times I've been making a decision about my personal life, my career, or creative hobbies and was reminded of a point made in the podcast. I've also referenced the podcast so many times in conversations, not to mention the window into the industry is fascinating. There really isn't a podcast like this, Print and Illogic bringing the bars!
  • Rissa "shark"
    AHHH!!!
Dear SDTW, new jersey appreciates you. In just under 2 weeks, I am fully caught up on the episodes. Can't stop won't stop tuning in. One of my favorite podcasts
Great discussions about various topics, usually hip hop related. A must listen for any fans of Blueprint and Illogic. The first time I listened to it I didn't even know it was Illogic, just thought it was Blueprints homie, and then 30 minutes in I realized it was him haha. Big fan of this podcast though, a lot of gems are dropped, and it's funny too.
