    Still One of The Best!
They don't do as many episodes as they once did, but Doug, Brent, and Robert still do amazing work on the Season Pass Podcast. The episodes with Eddie Sotto were a perfect example. The podcast archive includes so many cool, inspiring conversations with the legends of the industry. The Season Pass is an inspiration and required listening for anyone looking to work behind the scenes.

An Inspiration and one hell of a show
I have been listening to TSP for the better part of 2 years now (not as long as most) but in those 2 years, man on man have there been some incredible episodes. When I started listening, it helped me gain confidence in my voice with regards to theme parks and even helped give me the confidence to start my own. I cannot thank them enough for this and to boot they have a show that is informative, elightening, fun, and sometimes just plain crazy! I know they just celebrated 10 years recently, so here is to 10 more! Congrats and keep up the amazing work.

Deep dive education in themed entertainment
Detailed, comprehensive interviews with legends and experts in themed entertainment about the theory and nuts and bolts of creation, not just fandom. A *must* listen for anyone with any interest in the field, and a requirement if you actually want to be in it.

    Amazing!
I have been looking (althought admittedly not very long) for a themed entertainment podcast that focuses on the professionals in the industry, and this. is. it. Granted I'm only a few episodes in, there have been some amazing interviews so far and great insight in the industry. I am a designer in the theme park business myself, and it's always fun to hear stories from other fellow colleagues' past projects...and you never know hearing something on here may be the inspiration you need when youre in a rut. Keep it up guys! I have a lot of catching up to do!

I really enjoyed this podcast. The only thing was that I wish there was a bit more information at universal only because I have a universal season pass and not a Disney pass. But if you're looking for a great Disney podcast then here's the best thing!

The Absoulte BEST Theme Park & Themed Entertaiment Podcast!
I've been listening to The Season Pass Podcast for a few years now, and I promise you if you are a theme park/themed entertainment fan of any kind and you arent listening to The Season Pass you are missing out! TSPP always has great interviews with industry legends such as Tony Baxter, Bob Gurr, Garner Holt, etc and the episodes that arent interview based are just as great as the show's host/producer Doug Barnes always has great topics to discuss with show co-hosts/regulars Brent Young and Robert Coker. The production value of the podcast itself is awesome and the sound quality is always top notch. I am, and will always be grateful for the time that Doug has taken to produce The Season Pass Podcast as I've gained so much knowledge about an industry/hobby that I love. Being able to hear so many great stories from the industry told by the legends who lived them really is priceless, but if you appreciate the podcast and what it delivers I recommend joining The Season Passholder club as it offers even more insight into the industry and gives exclusive content not heard through the standard show. I love, love, love The Season Podcast! Keep up the great work guys!

    A great resource.
The interviews and discussions with leaders in the field provide great insights into the creation of attractions. While focussed on Theme Parks, the topics range into related dicsussions of museums and other attractions. It's really an audio-textbook providing thoughtful and in-depth conversations about a great range of themed entertainment.

    Great podcast
Love how Doug and Brent are very knowledgeable and how they don't always talk about Disney and how great it is.

    My favorite podcast!
This is such a special show to me because I love theme parks, technology, and the magic behind the magic. My first episode was one from March, 2015 and I loved it so much, I went back and started at the earliest available (somewhere around 20 in 2008) and every one has been a treat and taught me a lot about how things are made and great descriptions of attractions I may never get to. Everyone on the show is so smart and talk about what I want to hear about, and on top of that they have incredible guests! So many legends of the industry have talked in depth about the creation of new experiences on this show, and I'll be looking forward to many more years of Season Pass.

    Amazing Guests
These guys have the most amazing guests of any theme park podcast. They do a great job. If you like the people behind the theme park industry this is the one. I do think they get a little chatty at times, but the content is still super. Thanks for the great work!

Thrilled to have found this cast after wading through other Morning Zoo style coaster podcasts. These guys are really great. The shows are always informative and interesting, and technically very clean and well done. I’m no little bit envious of what you guys get to do! Keep up the great work.

    Great insider information and interviews
Just started listneing to TSPP after listening to Disney focused podcasts for years. I was missing some great stuff. Wonderfully produced and great interviews with legends of Theme park history and future. If you like any theme or amusement park this podcast is not to be missed.

    Keep it coming!
This is the best source of theme park news, history, and thoughtful discussion I have come across. Doug and the team do an amazing job of getting the best talent in the industry to open-up about their experiences and inspire everyone who listens. Whether it's engaging in a back-and-forth discussion or just letting a legend talk for the whole show; this show is a true labor of love and it shows!

    Great Podcast!
I'm a bit of an insane coaster geek, and I also love radio, so I was really suprised when I realized that there was a "Teme Park Podcast" that I didn't know about. After listening to just one of their shows, I thought to myself "this is the best thing to happen to me since I rode el Toro". As you can see, it's a five star podcast for any coaster fan.
  • dkdzyn
    Amazing guests and incredible interviews!
I have been listening to Doug and his crew of insiders for awhile now. It still amazes me the great guests he gets, how relevant they are and how well this podcast dives in deep and gets the real stories of what really influences the theme park industry. Just when I think I've read or heard everything about or from a given guest, Doug interviews them and manages to wring out the cream that was there all the time but never got told! I find myself starting the day with an episode. And before I know it, I've listened to 4 hours of The Season Pass and the day is racing by. If you're not subscribed, why not?!?

Plus Doug's sexy voice and Roberts laughter is freakin awesome too. So for theme park history from the voices of those that created it, check this podcast out immediately.

Great look at theme parks for all of us that love them!
I am so glad that I found this podcast! I'm a huge Disney fan, but there are so many other parks out there that deserve attention. This show will give you your Disney fix and it also will give you insight into other options in the theme park world! You get to hear behind the scenes insight from those currently in the industry and legends that are responsible for making the industry what it is today. You also get to hear the occasional walkthrough of an attraction and descriptions of future rides. The only down side of the show is that once it's over, I can't immediately go to whatever park they visited that week. Keep up the good work, Doug!
  • VPandKids
    Throughly Entertaining
No matter the topic Doug makes it interesting and entertaining. He could produce a show about making ceramic plates and I'd listen. The group Doug enlists to assist him are highly knowledgeable within their related fields. This is one I rarely pause.

    Love this podcast. Love Disneyland
I love this podcast. I came across this podcast on a micechat blog and saw a picture of Tony Baxter. I started listening and immediately stopped. I had to go download the podcast from my iPhone app. These guys take the time to do their homework and ask great questions. Plus they are real fans of the parks themselves. I can't wait to listen to some of the back catalog, and hear the second installment with Tony. So much good Disney history from him. Keep up the good work guys! I've already played the episode for a friend and sent it to a few other friends. Cheers

    Best Theme Park Podcast Around!
By far the best theme park podcast I've come across and truly one of a kind. If you want to hear the behind-the-scenes stories from the designers that are responsible for creating the attractions, then this is the place for you. Doug and Brent do an awesome job of hosting in depth interviews with professionals from every corner of the industry, and make listening to the podcast a blast! A must for anyone interested in learning more about the theme park industry and the people that help create it.

    Hoper
Although not exclusively centered around Disney topics, The Season Pass is simply the best source for thoughtful analysis on the history and deeper issues surrounding the world of the Disney theme parks, including: Walt Disney himself (personality, rationale behind his optimism/hope in humanity, management style), Progress City (see interview with sam gennawey...could have listened to the ensuing discussion for hours and hours more), as well as extended interviews with imagineers from across the years (Bob Gurr, Tim Delaney, etc). All this talk about "higher-minded" concepts is done while avoiding any stuffy pretense or tone of intellectual conceit. Conversation between Doug, Brent, and all is fun and laid-back. It's the kind of discussion you'd like to have in your own living room with friends. The podcast is completely accessible and wonderfully produced (excellent sound, professional intro/outro, etc). Keep up the excellent work!
