I used to be a big fan of show. It had become SO Negative about the team. Organization has its problems but apparently these guys are much smarter on how to fix problems. If I have to listen to Nick (who I actually like to listen to) say the work ‘platoon’ one more time I’m jumping off a bridge. Makes me wonder if anyone on show except Trace even played the game.

Nick offers very insightful information and Trace is often pretty comical. When I’m down on the reds at least I can laugh about it. They just have a better show structure than others, and hardly have any ads besides a short one in the middle. This my go to reds podcast every morning on my commute. They’re also not too overly optimistic like other podcasts which just leads to unrealistic expectations. The dudes keep it real.

Nick & Trace are the best. Trace’s rants are honestly therapeutic for me and I think Nick is one of the smarter baseball people to listen to on a daily basis. I also feel as though Nick & Trace compliment each other really well. Go Reds.

I love the show with Nick and Trace. I enjoy the night in and night out emotions that come with a full baseball season. I watch 95% of the Reds games (and I follow along online for the games I can’t watch) and having a show dedicated to each game is great. It’s entertaining and knowledgeable. I also enjoy Cory T and his brother on the weekends. Keep it up

Love the Nick and Trace dynamic. Fire duo. I hate when the Reds lose but I love when Trace crashes out.

Show used to be awesome. Unfortunately I can’t keep listening to them just a month into this season. It’s become such a will benson fan club show that I have to stop listening. David Bell got plenty of passes from Nick over the past few years. Now he just seems so butthurt by will benson being on the minor league club. It’s so annoying listening to him act like he knows everything about baseball and what the manager/club should be doing while he picks stats from behind a keyboard to push his narrative. I just can’t listen anymore. The constant “passes” given to their favorite players just to rant about stuff they don’t agree with is horrible. The answer is not in the organization right now. Stop trying to act like it’s as easy as swapping out a few players.

I love sports in general and have been an avid podcast listener for a decade now from Bill Simmons and a bevy of Ringer shows to No Laying Up among others. I had a rekindling of my love for baseball over the past couple years and Chatterbox Reds is one of the main reasons to thank for that. I get straight up giddy every time I see it pop up in my feed. I love their perspective and insight and start every day with the recap show from the previous day’s game. It’s the show I look forward to most now in my heavy rotation of shows.

Nick does an excellent job piecing this together each and every day. With player and coach post game reactions. He ups the audio, so it’s easier to hear than what the Reds put out on their postgame show. The show also includes an in depth breakdown of the game as well as his thoughts and opinions. Nick also does a good job of covering the Reds minor league system. Then it gets into the bulk of the show. Most of the time, it’s Trace and Nick and I think they form an entertaining duo. This is a must listen for any Reds fan!

This is simply the best Cincinnati Reds podcast a fan can listen to. Nick, the host, goes through the details and nuisances of the game unlike any other. And Trace provides the raw emotion to the show that is needed after each thrilling Reds win or disappointing loss. The amount of work these two and others put in to make this show happen is apparent and this show/podcast is a must watch/listen for any diehard Reds fan! Nick, Trace and the crew do a phenomenal covering all aspects of the Reds. Obviously the game coverage is great, but they take it a step further. Nick does a great job covering Reds MiLB, previewing upcoming series with guests from the opposing team, and other special guests. I always start my day with Chatterbox Reds!

I absolutely love this podcast! Nick and Trace do an incredible job breaking down the Reds games each and every day. It is apparent they work so hard to provide quality, reliable coverage of the Cincinnati Reds! It is the best part of my morning waking up to a new episode each and every day. I have longed for a podcast that does this for their listeners. Even on days the reds are not playing, there is still a podcast in our feed to preview upcoming series. I am beyond glad I found this podcast, and I hope to see the podcast continue growing and growing! Cannot recommend a podcast more than Chatterbox Reds!!!!

Nick and his guests, as well as Trace, are neither homers, nor are they constantly woe-is-us; it’s a good mix with a lot of common sense thrown in. They are very knowledgeable about the Reds, but really enjoy and follow baseball as a whole. Every episode has a ton of information about recent happenings, and since they have a new episode every morning, you know you’re typically getting the most up to date status.

What separates this show from others is that the hosts are not hesitant to drop some truthful, sometimes unpopular takes (in a good way). Both Trace and Nick are knowledgeable and great to follow on YouTube or social media, and I love the regional coverage. Nick gives great rundowns of each game at all levels of the Reds organization and hosts great interviews with team officials, local beat writers, social media creators and television broadcasters. The podcast for Reds fans.

I have been following the Reds since I was a kid growing up in Cincinnati. I moved away 30 years ago, but have stayed a fan, suffering through many painful seasons. The Reds’ resurgence this year has me loving the game again, catching most of them on TV. It’s lonely as a Reds fan here in Baltimore, but I listen to so much of this podcast I feel like I know you guys. Thanks so much, and keep it up!

Great opinions, well stated. Love the positivity (but not delusionally so like the Locked On podcast), and how they keep it about the Reds, not themselves. Love their willingness to shame Reds fan for not supporting the team. We come out every other week from Chicago. Great short recaps too. Maybe less swearing- so my young fans can listen - otherwise great- listen every day. Thanks for doing the weekend podcasts too.
