very bad show today, had to turn it off. teams have plans for a player at the time of the draft and then sometimes plans have to change due to current circumstances. it felt like you guys were just rambling on to fill time.

I’ve been listening to James and Jake for 3-4 years. They’re very connected to the team, are regulars at Bengals press conferences and provide good analysis every day. If you listen to them you’re in the loop. The podcast is well-planned and presents good topics. Also, the guys are accessible to their listeners and regularly engage their audience directly. Jake has DM’d me a few times responding to my inquiries. They’ve also addressed my questions on the podcast. This is the only Bengals cast worth my time. I hope they keep it up for a long time. Good guys.

For fun and informative Bengals talk. Jake and James do a great job of staying on top of the daily Bengals happenings, and bring in smart and knowledgeable football people to augment the show with segments on film study, the draft, free agency in all aspects, and even the workings of the salary cap. There are other good Bengals podcasts, of course, but Jake and James are my “ first listen” for all things Bengals.

Good podcast that produces a lot of content about the Bengals. Jake is an informative host that brings good energy. James on the other hand just rubs me the wrong way. Always trying to take annoying jabs at Jake and it typically ends in awkwardness between the two. Jake takes it well but James just kills the vibe and I’m assuming viewership. I will listen but only when I’m out of other options.

I started listening a few years ago leading up to the Burrow draft and since then it’s been entertaining but not for me anymore. Jake is awesome and I love listening to him talk about all of the intricacies of team building along with other great analysis. James on the other hand has gotten more and more annoying by the episode. He used to be alright but I can’t stand him anymore always saying the same things and mispronouncing guys names in a way that I feel is extremely disrespectful. Maybe I’ll be back one day but it would likely only happen if James leaves.

They have great guests too. But Rapien is the biggest dork on the planet. And his constant use of “its just not” as his supporting evidence is embarrassing. He sounds like a dumb chick complaining to a manager.

Guys, you have great information but the entertainment value is severely lacking. Have been listening frequently for 2 years but I must admit I find myself only doing so because I can find the information here, not because it’s a fun listen. Frequently, I will turn it off and go elsewhere because the audio is just boring or awkward. James needs more energy. Jake has great energy but is way too aware of the audience. You cap every joke or jab of energy with an explanation to the audience. Don’t explain your jokes it’s very awkward. Just keep moving. Overall, LOB is a very good place to get bengals information but really I would expect better chemistry from the hosts for an overall better entertainment product.

Locked on Bengals is the place to go for all of your Bengals news and information. James and Jake are plugged into everything Bengals and share that info like we are in the room with them. It’s the first thing I listen to every morning, and never disappoints!

Best Bengals pod out there. You can’t even tell that Jake records the whole show with a mouth full of maple syrup.

My favorite Bengals podcasts with 2 of the best in the game! Great analysis, and always a great listen whether it be on the go, or at home watching on YouTube! These guys are the best and I couldn’t say enough good things about them! I’m always LOCKED ON BENGALS, part of the everydayer club! WHODEY!

Love the show! Thanks for all your work! A show idea I would love heading up to the draft would be to go through the past five years drafts and see who we drafted, how they turned out and who’s still on the team.

Hosts can be condescending and they bicker sometimes

The hosts asked me to write a review to offset some haterade from KC fans. I do like the reliability of the show and the pro-Bengals content… I still can’t give it 5 stars because the hosts are constantly cutting each other off and doing nothing to encourage excitement via new segments or fun takes/guests. They seem to relish being the #1 ranked bengals podcast. Who Dey? **Edit** I had to drop you another star. How do you 2 have this little chemistry after doing this daily for years? In depth reporting, thoughtful discussion, open minded in all facets. This show keeps me going when the National pundits and doubters make the fatal mistake of underestimating the Bengals and Who Dey Nation. Keep up the great work!!

Even in the off- season this is my “go to” podcast. Really enjoy the perspective of the Hosts as well as their chemistry/banter. Most importantly I always feel like I learn something (I.e contracts). Both James and Jake (and their guests) are a refreshing take on football, and I look forward to starting my morning off with them.

I have to patrol several floors at work and listening to your podcast makes work go quicker. Appreciate the content and honesty. Don’t listen to Chief fans. They’d complain if the shoe was on the other foot.

I’ve been listening to this show for a few years now and as it has aged well. The guys have both become more polished and guests etc are usually solid. I leave most “Crossover Thursday” eps glad these two are on the Bengals and not other locked on talent. Who Dey!

Jake has that nerd football knowledge that makes you smarter than your friends at the water cooler. And importantly, he also the cleanest living room on the planet. Blaming the refs when your team plays like poop… how entertaining. The Bengals are one of the worst organizations in sports history and this podcast is a perfect match for them.

First of all, I’ll say that Sean Smack is completely wrong and I’ve listened to a lot of other locked on podcasts all of them very good, but locked on Bengals is way more engaging and has more enthusiasm than any other locked on podcast. Second of all, I appreciate how you guys have the effort to upload 6 even 7 times a week also seeing that James also does locked on reds both of them have to be very tired at the end of their work day but still keep up the enthusiasm I know I’ve already said that but STILL I know I wouldn’t want to do this 6 to 7 times a week, I’d be dead! But really, keep it up, love the podcast 👍

So let me start by saying I love Jesse Bates as a football player. But why wouldn’t you play on the franchise tag? You’re making life changing money. Regardless if you sign that contract or another you have the same chance at getting hurt on the first play after signing either contract and never playing again. If you’re scared that you want that money because you don’t know what you’re gonna do with the rest of your life you have the money to give you the time to figure it out. Number two. You’re playing on a team that has a really good chance of winning the Super Bowl. Something that money cannot buy. If he doesn’t play. I really hope the Bengals go and win the Super Bowl without him. An that would serve him right. Also I love y’all’s show. I listen whenever a new episode comes on. Great information and good arguments on different issues with hat involve the team and others across the league. Keep it up guys.

I listen to a lot of locked on podcasts. They’re all pretty respectful and accurate. This one is very slanted and lacks professionalism and accuracy.

I am a huge podcast listener. I listen to probably 100 different podcasts. But the Locked On Bengals pod is my #1 choice every single day. Unlike some sports broadcast, Jake and James are real fans of the team they cover. They do an amazing job of covering the team objectively from a journalist perspective, as well as presenting the full spectrum of fan opinions. I am admittedly optimistic Bengals fan, so sometimes it can be hard to find a Bengals program that’s willing to cover the positive side, especially if the team isn’t doing well. But James and Jake never fail to at cover the full spectrum of fan opinions, even if it isn’t how they personally feel. But even when I disagree with their opinions, I always appreciate that they have legitimate strong feelings about this team. On top of them being incredible Bengals fans, they have the connections to bring in top-flight guests and are exceptional interviewers. Bengals fans are really lucky that we have this podcast.

Can never get enough Bengals news and discussion. So thankful for Jake and James for hyping me up on the regular. And for making me a faithful built bar customer who has lost 30+ pounds and packed on muscle just before my kidney transplant surgery. Who Dey and have a good one!!!
