I was looking for a new podcast and happen to stumble across this. I usually go for the true crime comedy podcasts but I loved how they really get into the facts and don’t add a ton of fluff. Both girls are great and have very fulfilling lives which I love hearing about at the beginning of the show💗 Honestly though, I highly recommend this podcast. Please keep making these episodes so that one day y’all make it big and we can look forward to more than one ep a week!! Thanks girlies and peep!

Great content! Wayyy too many ad breaks.. they are up to four ad breaks in an episode! That's the most I've ever heard in a show! Commercials are the worst! Also the IQBAR number doesn't work. I never got any response from texting CRIME TO 64000.

People that complain can't read. If you don't like the chit chat, they time stamp every episode so you know exactly where to skip to. Don't discredit them bc you're illiterate.

Now we're getting into politics? Not sure why you're changing stuff or throwing in politics. No one wants to hear that when they're listening to this we listened to get away from that stuff.

I started listening to random episodes based off of cases. Full disclosure, I was skipping through the “banter” lol then one day I had no choice but to listen to a full episode no skipping. That was it for me!! I started at the beginning of your recordings and have completed every single episode 😭 I love you guys. I love hearing your little tidbits of your lives, and I love your show. Great job ladies!!!

A lot of chit chat. I believe the episode I listen to took 11 mins to get to the story. I hit fast forward 15 seconds a lot on the pod

I follow their Instagram (and love it) but never really bothered to listen to the podcast until they posted about their episode about Diddy. They kept posting screenshots of people praising them for how great the episode was so I gave it a listen. If that is putting their best foot forward then I have no intention of ever listening to any other episodes.. not good.

The hosts don’t remotely care about the victims-they simply chase headlines that they think will give them clout. They cover cases that have no substantial updates. Feed into conspiracy theories. They will do anything for money. Annoying!!!

Love the chit chat, mix of old and new cases, and unique cases only you guys cover. I listen to all of the popular true crime pods & this is probably my new fav! Found y’all not too long ago and have already listened to every episode. I would really love to be able to understand more than every 6th or 7th word. Do these podcasters not listen & edit the recordings?? Clearly, not these two yoyo’s. They jumble, mumble & stumble their way through the prattle. Unintelligible & mindless. Don’t bother with these 2. Do not recommend. Here’s a tip to podcasters, especially these goofs: Just because you CAN, doesn’t mean you SHOULD.

Just stumbled upon this podcast and am really enjoying them. These ladies are so factual but still have share their own thoughts. So glad I found them!

My absolute favorites! I love how they update us and teach us random things. Example: the toilet situation, I don’t know so thank you. I love this show, wish I could get more of it.

Just FYI: a jury doesn’t need to be people who haven’t ever heard of the crime. They just have to be able to be unbiased.

I’ve been a member of TCS Back Up on FB since covid(ish). I’ve never been a fan of podcasts in general. But I started listening to y’all a few months ago and I am OBSESSED…but just with this podcast. Lol. I don’t care what anyone else says I love the weather updates and the giggles at inappropriate times. Y’all are the best.

One of the worst podcasts I’ve ever listened to. As many have pointed out, every episode begins with 8-15 minutes of mindless nonsense that has nothing to do with the subject of the broadcast. Then, you get the hosts reading a Wikipedia entry about the case verbatim, delivered in a rushed, ramshackle manner, interspersed with giggling and snarky asides. And then you get their observations and “analysis” which amounts to the most obvious statements imaginable. “Murder is bad.” “Stalking can be harmful.” And so on. The end. Lazy, zero research and insight. I guess this is what it means when people say that anyone can make a podcast, because any conscious, breathing individual could do what these two hosts do.

I wanted to like this show but the banter is just lifeless. Whether they’re talking about their own lives or a horrible murderer, their best addition to any discourse is “Yes, that is horrible,” or “Mmmm.” It’s just so dry, they have nothing of interest to add to the conversation of any case they cover. Sorry to be harsh, they’re not bad, they should just work on having something to say other than, “Mmm, yes that’s terrible.” Or “Yeah, that’s horrible.” Try to bring some kind of interest other than two monotone hosts who don’t have much to say to any of the points the other one brings up :/ I feel like they’re trying to be a kind of informal and conversational podcast because their research is minimal but it doesn’t work because the conversational part is incredibly lacking. If you want an easy, conversational flow podcast this isn’t for you, but if you want a well researched, in depth podcast this isn’t for you either.

I listen to every episode and I honestly enjoy the chat at the beginning, it makes me want to be on the episode with them. Keep up the good work, glad we share many of the same interests.

I used to listen to this podcast, but found they talked WAY too much at the beginning and I gave up. I continued to follow a FB group and saw an episode I wanted to listen to. I was SO pleased to see the time stamps in the episode notes so I could skip the chit-chat! Great work ladies, an old listener is back!

They cover all the basis with letting you know when personal talking is going on and when the actual crime talking starts they give easy ways to navigate that with time stamps! Wonderful job ladies keep it up.

Too much unnecessary chatter for 7 minutes prior to podcast beginning.

By this point I’ve binged every episode and frequently checking for new ones. Not only do I love the shows but I’m also invested into knowing how Olivia’s car ordeal is working out or how Stephanie’s house is coming along. While this podcast isn’t for everyone, I appreciate the sense that it feels like they’re talking to you and not at you like other hosts. I highly suggest that if you’re new here to keep listening, you too will get sucked and you soon won’t be able to stop.

Stephanie and Olivia do a great job at recapping cases. I like that they review current cases and sometimes will cover older ones.

I like the more casual/conversational tone of the pod! Also love how they keep us up-to-date with ongoing cases. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

I love these two! I have been a listener for several years now and I realized I should probably review my favorites! TCS covers really interesting cases that most other podcasts don’t. I think the hosts are fun and have a great rapport together. I love that they include the time stamp for the banter for days when I just want to hear about the case. It is so crazy that they both have full time jobs and still produce great content weekly. Keep up the awesome work, we all appreciate you!

I love the hosts Stephanie and Olivia (and Peep!) They’re relatable and fun to listen to and they cover more recent true crime cases which is refreshing. They also do lots of true crime updates on their instagram so it’s fun to have to refer to when I’m listening to new episodes. Keep it up ladies! Thank you!

I have about an hour commute to work and listening to TCS is one of my favorite ways to pass the time! I like the variety of cases they cover and the amount of information they include. Some people seem to get upset about the “chat” they do at the start but 1. I love to hear updates about their lives and will sometimes listen just to that part of an episode if the case they are covering isn’t something I’m super interested. 2. They couldn’t make it more clear that there is a way to skip that part if you simply want to listen to the true crime part. There is a button in the episode description you can click to skip this and it’s also mentioned in the podcast before they even get started. * PS more Peep content please

I really do! I appreciate their timely posts on Facebook, but the podcast is really elementary. They know nothing about the legal process and sometimes it’s painful to listen to. Also, please, nobody cares about Peep!!

I love the way Steph and Olivia talk about the weather in both of their respective places. I love the chit chat between the two at the beginning because it gives me a chance to know a little about them. I have gone back to listen from the beginning and I have enjoyed every episode! Thank you for the good time.

I really enjoy this podcast but why do you include the long personal intros? Like I’m sorry but who cares about the weather etc. Intros are waaaay too long. Yes I can skip but sometimes they don’t include the time stamp.

First time I have ever written a podcast review, but this is so bad I had to complain. I heard about the Gypsy Rose episode by this podcast so I was excited to listen as there are few podcasts that cover this story and I wanted more info in podcast form. First off, they spent TWELVE minutes of this episode blathering about nothing. Twelve! That’s almost half to a third of the time of a typical podcast in its entirety, and during this time there was no data given. Secondly, this seems like one person wants to have her own podcast but heard that two-person podcasts perform better so she brought in a second person. However, the second person says very few words and it’s mostly filler words. I feel bad for her, like she’s just there for show. Finally, I think the overall presentation of the podcast is just poor. It’s slow, it seems very robotic instead of flowing, and the data presented isn’t even in depth. I am an avid true crime podcast listener and I obviously have favorite shows that follow the format I prefer, but I still give a fair shot to other shows, especially if it’s a topic I’m interested in. I just couldn’t recommend this podcast to anyone. It’s certainly not my style, and I feel like if I simply read a transcript of the show I would have the same end result. What a bummer.

This is my first time listening to this podcast. I follow it on IG & thought I’d give it a try! Honestly, I’m super disappointed so far…it’s been 15 mins of talking about personal things and small chat. Not a fan of this.

This podcast has about 10 minutes of non related commentary by the hosts at the beginning of the episode. I personally don’t want to hear that. I want to hear about the true crime case and not all of this unnecessary fluff. Host are also pretty monotone so hard to pay attention and it gets quite boring. I tried the very first episode then the most recent episode to see if they had improved since they started and they haven’t. I couldn’t finish either episode. Just not for me.

Why exactly are Yall giving so much time and attention to someone who belongs in jail aka Gypsy?? Seriously, what am I missing and why is this chick so famous right now. Yall have nothing better to talk about?

I absolutely love this show. These hosts do such great research and I really love the way they present the information. I enjoy their candor, chemistry, and effort. I listen to a ton of true crime and lately all I want to tune into is this show!

I enjoy the simple format- no drama and they are just who they are. I love listening to their take on the cases described. Very delightful podcast if you are a true crime enthusiast yet don’t want the scary music making everything dramatic. They include original clips from the cases for information and post all documents on their website if you want more. Very thorough.

Love this one and love they put timestamps to get straight to the story as I am not always a fan of the banter before
