Love this show! The sibling banter reminds me of me and my brother and my son and daughter. My favorite parts, though, are when Mamma Rogers weighs in with a memory, a correction, or a confirmation. Keep up the good work.

I found this podcast awhile back when someone from the original TBWP production mentioned Will. At first I just listened to all of your TBWP episodes. But I loved the dynamic so much I kept listening. My most hated chore is doing the dishes. So, when I know I need to do that, I turn on an episode of GttU and it helps me through the drudgery that is scrubbing plates and pans. Literally, if I didn’t find this podcast, I would just stand at my sink, sponge in hand, screaming in anguish. The dishes never stop. And I hope your podcast never stops either.

They know how to podcast. The Patron is consistent and well worth it. My only complaint is they don't put out shows everyday, I need more! You will like this show.

I love ~Kris~ (pronounced the way Will says it sometimes like between his teeth?? Like, "kre-aws" almost??) and Willie SO much, I wait 1-2 weeks to listen to their episodes so that I always have a little backlog in case of emergencies! Such an emergency happened on a recent trip, where I was unfortunately up to date, so I listened to the whole of Book Club Shmook Club while I waited for them to upload a new ep. And then I enjoyed them even more after that!!! Truly a top tier podcast!!! Wahoo!!

Cryptids, movie reviews, spooky history, ghost stories, haunted toilets? they have it all. First stumbled upon GTTU when diving into Vermont cryptids and it quickly became my favorite podcast. Will and Kristen’s relationship reminds me a lot of my best friend and I. Their fun banter makes my work day pass quickly and I’m always looking forward to the newest episode. Guide to the Unknown is an online podcast about Kristen and Will, who are siblings and best friends who go on adventures and fight monsters. It is VERY SCARY, but I can’t help myself from listening to find out how each cliffhanger is resolved.

I really enjoy the podcast. The stories are interesting and entertaining. Love the discussions and banter, often makes me laugh out loud. Unfortunately I do wish there was less inserting of their obvious political views when it insults any one with opposing views. Also, why speak so rudely and scoff when talking about Christianity? If you make sure to approach other religions and beliefs with respect and care as to not offend other, why scoff and have a patronizing attitude when speaking about God. It’s still someone’s belief.

I met Will at Podtales in November 2019, but didn't get around to starting the podcast until lockdown in 2020. I caught up quickly and Kristen and Will’s amazing sibling banter, jokes, and enthusiasm for the horror genre gave me something to look forward to during a very scary time. I love their variety of topics and the way they engage with their listeners. And I especially love that I get all their 80s and 90s niche references! 😂

I love this show! It is well researched, well produced and Will and Kristen are fantastic. I think I have listened to the whole show at least 3 times and for me it never gets old. I love the topics and I love Will and Kristen’s particular brand of humor. Guide to the Unknown has a huge back catalogue of main episodes as well as an amazing Patreon that also has tons of content. If you are looking for something new please give Guide to the Unknown a chance, you definitely won’t regret it!

The topics are so much fun. Kristen and Will have great senses of humor. The extra episodes through being a patreon member are well worth it.

This brother and sister team cover so many great topics: lore, mystery, nerdom, horror, you name it. The back and forth alone makes for a great listen for the sister/brother aspect, but don't let the playfulness fool you. These two are incredibly creative and well-read so listening to them talk about their passions means one will definitely learn something new with each episode. They celebrate the scary from a safe place and analyse the supernatural from a skeptical point of view. For a more chaotic energy, you can listen to their Patreon podcast too (I'm in the demon tier) but either way, you are in for a really fun time.

I listen to this while ink drawing, and have to stop periodically because I’m shaking from laughter. The hosts’ sibling chemistry is hilarious. I absolutely love the dynamic these two have! Even when the topic isn’t super interesting to me I find myself laughing along. My husband and I listen every week while we make our dogs food, he’s a huge fan now, and it makes it an infinitely more enjoyable task. I began listening to GTTUPOD back in the “Brownies and Daniel Stern” era and gave it a glowing review several years ago. But I thought I would jump in at the end of the road to 1,000 and drop an updated review to see how the siblings stack up after all these years. The answer: better than ever! I’ve loved all of the creative content that Will and Krissy have dared to try. The short lived Ghost Adventures Adventures, the “not so spooky but kind of tangentially connected” material, the streaming games, and Cage-tober. They are always thinking of the next cool thing to try and if it doesn’t work out quite right, they roll with it and move on. I listen for many reasons. I’m not a slasher fan by any means (I’m more of a creature feature person) so when they cover the Scream or Halloween type franchises I enjoy it because I know I’m not going to sit through all those movies but I’ll still get to hear the plot. I also love learning about scary things from different cultures. I also enjoy hearing about baby Zoe (who is about 6 months older than my own little dude). But mostly, I love listening because of the warm and funny banter between Will and Krissy as they talk about the things they love, which has been the heart of the show from the very beginning.

Even when I think I might not be interested in a topic, I always find myself to be engaged. I really love the cold openers at the start of every episode, and the urban legend episodes are so fun! Honestly, I’d listen to anything these 2 made! Kristen and Will have such a fun-loving relationship, and their laughter is just contagious! The content is spooky, yet I always find myself smiling and laughing along with them— it’s the perfect ratio of scary:fun! I highly recommend you give this podcast a listen!
