A Lore Podcast That Meets My Expectations
*Please note that there is a YouTube channel for this that has the missing episodes and I think one of the reviews for this podcast is actually talking about a different 40k lore based podcast. They mention an episode 32 and kept referring to a group of people. These episodes start at 100+ and from what I’ve heard, it’s just a single person.* Whenever I try to find a lore-based podcast, it’s usually people talking about the event and having side commentary or making jokes throughout the episode. I normally don’t have a problem with this, but sometimes you want something that’s more direct. I will say that if you found this podcast, then you probably already know about the Warhammer 40K universe. If not, or you’ve only just dipped your toes in, try to look at some official and fanart. It makes it easier to get a sense of the size and scope of the universe. The way the lore is told is more akin to actually listening to a history based podcast that focuses on the events and the people involved without segues or digression. I also really enjoyed the readings of the short stories and how each one expands on the lore by making it more of a personal story or just a small event that happened. Considering the size of the Warhammer 40k universe, nearly every event is just another drop in a puddle, but can still come off as just as amazing and entertaining.

    Great Lore Podcast
The lore series is really great. Black Library needs to get you to do their audiobooks.

    Excellent listening
A great show to listen to as I work around the house or drive. Near professional audiobook performance.

I follow your YouTube, great stuff. This podcast is way more convenient for long bike rides and workouts, hard to keep Youtube open without killing the battery. Episodes start at 169..... how do we access #1-168?? Also do you get paid per podcast download, if so which compensates better, Youtube or podcast. I’ll go back to YouTube when possible, if that gets you more dough.

    A Wonderful Warhammer Podcast
One of the best for lore, characters and books. I’m not really into the table top game but I love the stories and this is one of the best podcasts/YouTube channels out there.

Pretty Pathetic, Casual Racism, Man Children
They sound uncertain sometimes because they have done very little to research. My guess is they “outline” by copy pasting stuff from Lexicanum. Save yourself the trouble and go to Lexicanum yourself and investigate your topics of interest. On a deeper note, these guys REALLY struggle with basic podcasting. They don’t understand how to use a mic (there is a learning curve, but they struggle with this in episode 32!), they start pumping you for patreon a few episodes in when their inane rambling has yet to improve and they lack any sort of structure to their shows. This could be great if they put any effort in to it. Instead, they tell stupid racist jokes, engage in what they think is funny but actually is pathetic and cringeworthy gay jokes. Save your time, look elsewhere. Manchildren who ramble and think that makes them special. Really sad, I gave them 40+ episodes and they were still pooping the bed.

    Yes
Lore, book reviews, and now full-length audiobook narration. This podcast is the best non-wargaming 40k podcast around.
