Seanbot7WW2 podcast Angus Wallace the bestAbsolutely the best WW2 out there! Instead of some guys reading Wikipedia Angus Wallace has some of the greatest historians and authors who write for such prestigious publications as Osprey and many others. He has a wide range of topics and goes into great detail while still being easy to listen to for everybody. Again absolutely without a doubt the best WW2 podcast out there!

John VerValenGreat podcastAngus ( the host ) has a great personality and is very well researched before he interviews his guests. Also one nice thing is Angus doesn’t talk over his guests but let’s them convey their story. I would highly recommend this podcast if WW 2 is your gig!!!

J ClamPacificI stumbled on to your podcast courtesy of an algorithm of my tastes. They were correct in their assumption. You have a great show. Conversation based on fact. Great delivery! As a result just started binging Pacific after listening to the son. My only regret is I didn’t find out about you sooner because now I have to binge! But there are worse things

Brokenfoot19A proliferator of history on all fronts.Mr. Wallace has done an excellent job at choosing topics to cover and how he covers them. The people he interviews are knowledgeable and opinionated, which helps believe that nothing is scripted other than the questions asked. I thoroughly enjoy his podcast and hope that he continues the good work.
-
david tukinWw2I am a historical reader that loves to read stuff about ww2 I would and will listen every day and night

Class-A News HunterWW2 Podcast for the WW2 SpecialistI listened to the interview with Dr. Sangster about Field Marshal Lord Alanbrooke, and it was truly fantastic. Both very interesting and highly entertaining. Sangster was sage in his evaluation of Brooke, and Angus never missed a beat. I was suitably impressed. The only critique I can give is not about the content, but production related. Obviously anytime you’re a host conducting remote interviews with guests, you’re at the mercy of countless factors you cannot control regarding their audio quality during recording. But for what you can control, I would encourage Angus to better acoustically treat his recording space to help dampen the reverb/echo picked up on his track. In addition to considering a new mic, because the current one sounds thin and somewhat tinny. You’re first class mate, no reason you shouldn’t sound like it as well. Good show!
-
Bil MatternExcellentTop tier podcast. Follow and listen. Great guests and wonderful topics.
-
Jimmyjam991It okThe P51 was not made by British in ww2 it was made by the United States of American in ww2 it made me mad that the best plane in allied hands in ww2 was said in this podcast made by the British sry
-
MattZipTerrific podcastExcellent guests, interesting topics, smart questions. Very well done!
-
Mr. Texas DogFirst rateMr. Wallace always let’s the line out, and then asks excellent questions which are filled with a humility that suggests he doesn’t know the topic. He does. Always.
-
Joey ZeeeeSpecialized yet highly accessibleI’ve checked out a lot of the other WW2-themed podcasts but this is the only one that gets into specialized topics from an “academic” POV. That’s not to say that the content is inaccessible to an armchair WW2 buff (like myself) but rather introduces us to deeper contemporary research. Angus has a lot of authors from Osprey Publishing (military history) as well as more mainstream publishers from a variety disciplines. If you think you know a lot about a particular battle or figure from WW2, this podcast will make you think again. WW2 Podcast is also a great source for directed readings, YouTube channels and authors pertaining to WW2. I never write reviews for podcasts but I thought I’d give a shout-out for this one.
-
Grit&glamourFidelityYour mic is average, your Graziani guest unlistenable.
