yuiihhyyhhhBest Podcast for English learner, subscribed for itIt is my favorite podcast. It is not too fast, and experts pronounce very clearly. I like it mostly.

Sullyrock315Typical BBC, interesting but slanted to the leftThe inquiry has good interviews but often is too agenda driven. For instance, the ‘Can Europe reverse its falling fertility rates?’ was missing any mention of abortion rates. This is not an honest look at the story if you will not deal with the whole issue. Typically, the BBC agenda is not in what they report but often what they omit from the story.

hhfshndd224THE MUSIC!WE KNOW you’ve a HEAVY HANDED sound designer/score composer or whatever they’re called, alas NO ONE listens to a Podcast for the music, so for the love if EVERYTHING audio, PLEASE eliminate the overbearing, annoying music!

poor app issuesThe narrator said Florida is the most populous state in the US…On the Ron DeSantis episode, the narrator claimed that Florida is the most popular state in the US. It is not, California had nearly twice as many residents. Also, this show could be improved by avoiding passive voice (“it is said” — who/what said XYZ???)

ScottieEricAnything to do with politics has an EXTREME liberal biasThe political “experts” are all extreme left. They address only fringe issues just like the rest of the big media, and leave the practical issues behind. It’s the typical blind opposition to Trump. Of course part of the increase in americas car deaths is attributable to sexism and racism. Hilarious. What about global warming? Surely thats a factor too??

PalunargarExcellent podcastI enjoyed the program about the possibility of unification in Ireland. For only 20 minutes, I was able to get a good picture of the topic. I’m really excited to have found this podcast.
-
mjj8385SuperficialEither the topics they cover are too knew or their is insufficient investigation. The four experts seem to speak at too general of a level. The question isn’t really answered.
-
MylissaRLiberal agendaBiased and lacking facts.
-
tom40It is gutlessAt the beginning of each show, they say “One question, four witnesses, and an answer.” The answers are unsatisfying. The episode about which president was most responsible for the mess in Afghanistan had the answer “They all were”. The does not answer the question they were supposed to answer and it is gutless.

April13Maine AleIf this appeals to an American hating, self flagellating, delusional idiot like Maine Ale, it’s not for me
-
MaineAleAn excellently balanced progammeI appreciate The Inquiry’s attempts to educate the ignorant fascists who believe everything Fox “News” sells but there’s no convincing these people who are willing to believe a cabal of baby-eating pedos run the federal government in the US without even a hint of proof but will readily reject the truth outright no matter how much evidence is presented. Sad!

BillyBobV in Nor-CalDisappointedI’ve been listening to the Inquiry since it started and appreciate it’s normally balanced approach to topics. The latest episode on Antifa, however strayed far away from balanced. Three, clearly supporters of antifa and one left leaning expert doesn’t cut it. If this is a trend to leftist agenda mouthpiece-ism that I’ve seen in other podcasts, I will unsubscribe. Correct it back to neutral/balanced and objective and I’ll give my former 5-star rating back.
-
Mantis79BiasedEvery subject is pro left agenda, nicely produced though, but so biased. The last episode was pro antifa and that really did it for me. Unsubscribe.

NjinnjBackground music playing through whole episodeI usually like this podcast a great deal but for some reason recently they played odd techno music while the commentators were speaking! This was on the episode about a European football super league. It was so annoying and distracting that I couldn’t listen. I’m still giving them 4 stars though because I see some Trump and Boris fans got their feelings hurt by hearing something that doesn’t exactly jibe with their world view which compelled them to write negative reviews. Not everything has to be an echo chamber; how does one ever learn anything new?

Eugene PaganoWhy is this great podcast no longer posting on iTunes? One of the best podcasts when it was on iTunes.
-
The Real Zen BoyTrump Lackeys Amplifying MisinformationThey have stooped to repeating absurd conspiracy theories from a deranged mental case. I guess this is what happens when you podcast from your closet. Let’s hope the BBC fires these incompetents. Feed deleted.
-
SimbaWilliamVery good, but somewhat superficialInteresting topics, but sometimes issues are covered in a journalistic superficial way, not proposing any solutions, but just describing some problem that we already knew existed.
-
Jake LampertThe best 24 minutes of each weekClear concise and informative. Every episode.
-
yoga.ahaBBCrexitEver since Brexit the BBC seems to have leaned to a right wing point of view on their stories.

JjjjoooeelLove this podcast unless the episode is political...Great podcast that is normally factual, balanced and well presented and researched. However, as soon as the topic relates to a conservative or especially Trump related area the standards drop. The expert witnesses all seem to share a Democratic Party/progressive/left wing slant, where conservative views are dismissed as ‘conspiracy theories’. I’m far from a Trump supporter but would appreciate more balanced reporting or have each expert’s political preference identified or even steer clear of the Trump stuff altogether.

bandit84lumber???Great! But, what happened to the space episode?!?
-
ShyToryInquiry into Boris Johnson...?Sigh. Another Beeb hit job dressed up as journalism. Ugh.
-
USPY0513What kind of Prime Minister would Boris Johnson make?I have listened to “The Inquiry” for years and have loved it. I do have to say that I am disappointed in the way they presented this episode. I feel that the parts were presented with negative bias. I generally feel that “The Inquiry” strays away from bias and personal opinion on most of the stories they present, but not on this one.

nossarausFirst rate and innovative.Future topic: are humans “hard-wired” to be bigots?
-
Viikii1209Opinions rather than factsThis podcast started off as single issue and different perspectives but this latest episode left me cold. It seemed more pieces to cement an opinion rather than perspectives from all stakeholders. Expert witnesses- one who’s directly involved, one who’s a professor in US, one from journalist angle and one international viewpoint. This is 20 minutes long, but at least acknowledge this is just one perspective being painted. Disappointed by the research quality!

Pun PinkyVery educational and informativeGreat Podcast. Found out through BBC world news podcast. Varieties of topics discussed and presented beautifully. Thanks so much!

JJRROMIFirst rate!!!I just gave this a couple of listens and find it crackerjack good! Well organized. Good variety of topics. Tells you things you haven’t already heard all too often. Listenable! No creaky voices. No tortured fake over pronunciations! Lovely! Brava!!!
-
RF1928373fantasticgreat topics, although sometimes wish the experts were more diverse and more data heavy.
-
Erin79705ExcellentI love how this podcast approaches its task: somehow issues that seem horribly confusing and intractable are cut down to size using the multiple expert explanations. I trust the producers to provide balanced and neutral reportage. Solid, reliable, and prescient! I go back in the podcast’s library, and issues explored years ago are still being grappled with today—and the analysis here still feels wholly relevant. Kudos!
-
pedromm85Great podcastI listen to The Inquiry every week. The topics are always super relevant and the guests are real experts!

DucatiKillerAmazingGreat podcast!

GCurtBThis is ridiculous!So... Black babies are born smaller due to Racism!? This is happening to all non-white races in the US, correct? Of course it’s not, because this argument is completely false. One thing is for certain. Blaming white people for black babies being born small isn’t going to help black babies or their mothers.
-
SeattleMe227More important now in era of 'fake news' claimsVery very well researched/documented podcast that takes one issue and looks at it from multiple expert/credible perspectives. And it's from the highly regarded BBC. I've learned a lot about many issues - some very topical, others more oblique. Great length too!
-
oleeiePlink, plink soundsExcellent material - I think - half the time someone is tinkering with sounds that have nothing to do with content. Ditch the noise so that I can hear the fabulous speaker.
-

-
Shyam13Excellent analysis and explanationThis is a very good way t o appreciate and consider a topic - 4 short segments with good commentarty, questions, and analysis. Highly recommended.
-
EricinLondonA must-listen podcastThe Inquiry has been part of my foundation set of podcasts for a couple of years now. Every week, they tackle a different topic - usually geopolitical but they are not shy of discussing culture, psychology or the environment. The format is reliable to deliver iluminating and thought-provoking conclusions, or to allow for our inability to do so when necessary. I cannot recommend it enough.
-
mhd24Superb!Very informative. Encourage you to listen a podcast even on topics that you normally find uninteresting.
