I listen to several other paranormal podcasts but Tony’s is far and away the best I’ve found. Thanks Tony!

I love listening to all of these people’s different ghosts stories about ghost because I’m very fascinated with all the different types of ghost’s stories I started listening when I was 17 years old I like it until the adds got to long I don’t like how you have to get frow the adds so mebe don’t put adds Continue into my 17 through 18 years that I stop listening to your podcast Can you not make the rest of the story’s you have to pay for because I don’t want to pay just to keep on listening can you Mack it free I don’t like how you keep on talking about random stuff in stead of getting right to the point I don’t like how you keep on making the podcast shorter I want you to make it longer so people like me don’t go fro them so fast

They release episodes with one or two stories, and there is more time spent on ads than telling the stories. Then they release an episode several times a day flooding your timeline. They need to combine more stories and have less ads, releasing only one episode a day.

This show used to be SO GOOD! The stories are so short now/episodes are short and ads are way too long. What happened? If you run out of content just stop the show while you’re ahead and play the old ones again. I miss it 😢

This show used to be amazing but now the episodes are so short and half of the “time” is ads that just repeat. Ugh bring the old format back. Can’t even listen anymore because you constantly have to flip through super short episodes

Wow came back again after another year. I truly used to love this show and keep thinking that it’s gonna win me back over. But each time I tune in it just gets worse. Right now I’m listening to a woman and a young kid who have absolutely nothing in common and nothing to talk about. because someone is a family member does not mean they need to be put on the show. God I hate being rude. But you’re so used to be so good. Where is Tony? Why all these weird changes? i’m sorry I’m out again. I left my first comment on here so you could see it too. I keep trying to check back in. More stories and less talking please. Two stories in a 45 min show is ridiculous. All the commercials and shameless begging for EPP members is just too much as well. I realize this is your livelihood but your constant asking for cash is such a turn off. The fake radio voice is getting old too. I left for over a year and came back but it’s only gotten worse. MORE STORIES!!!! Just read the reviews and everyone is saying the same thing. Obviously you are not reading the reviews or you just don’t care what listeners want. I bet people would want to become EPP members if you actually read stories rather than told them.

I agree with other reviews on the constant useless and immature banter. As well as the overload of ads - I get that you need ads but it’s a bit much. My biggest complaint however is the fact that you’ve been running “Classics” for so long, what in the world happened to putting up new content!?? So much useless and rerun material is put out to keep this and your other shows at the top of our content, but honestly, I just skip over it anymore. PS: you’re not funny. Wish Carol hosted the show all of the time.

Honestly - more stories, less commentary. It is maddening. I get that that’s the format, but it’s not for me.

This podcast used to be amazing when I started listening five years ago. I loved the show. Since then the podcast has gone slowly downhill from then. With more, and more, and more adds, the shorter episodes and now, The TEN MINUTE EPISODES. With half of it being adds, the random side conversations that have nothing to do with the show that takes up half of the episode. I have since stopped listening. It used to be SO much better, the host, the cohosts, everything . I have been listening since December 2019. You have lost another listener.

You guys all seem like great people but the format of 10 minute banter about random stuff and then 5 minutes of a story got old very quickly. Plus the new format is not great. Used to listen all the time but unfortunately this deters me from listening more. Would love to come back if we go back to the old format! Hope this feedback helps.

I’ve been a fan of this show from the very beginning when it was just Tony telling stories with a bit of cheesy music which was great. Somewhere around episode 500 it all started to change. That was back when the episodes were 50 minutes or so with commercials at the end. That’s when I started to slowly check out, only to come back every few weeks or so. Actual stories and content became less and less. Then I left the show altogether. For the last 4 years I’ll check back annually around September to see if the format has changed, and it has gotten progressively worse. I just checked back today after not listening for about 7 months, the show is unrecognizable it feels overly produced which is something I remember Tony talking about earlier on in the shows life(saying that’s not what he wanted to do.) It seems like he’s trying to do far too much. I’ve loved this show from the beginning and I don’t want to give up on it, but I think the time has come. Update: So I’ve come back to revisit the show, to see if anything has changed, and it has, for the worse. I haven’t listened in over 2 years, but during that time I’ll come back every 6 months or so to see if (again) anything’s changed. It’s gotten so bad with the ads throughout that unfortunately I won’t be back ever again.

Was new to Podcasts 5 years ago and this was first one I was totally hooked on!!! Loved the stories and the guests, and co hosts! They used to be an hour long and sometimes more but at least 30-40 minutes but even with the paid subscription to delete commercials they got shorter and shorter and they didn’t really seem to evaluate the case or story or give it any credibility or insight, just surface comments and banter, I do not mean to personally attack the hosts because I love them all and they have a great chemistry but i think as the show has grown more successful that they lost they initial spark and engagement that made them who they are. If they go back to the old format and longer shows and more serious evaluations of the cases I would be willing to pay more per month for sure. I am a fan but more of the original show before the big changes. I give 10 stars to early seasons!!!

I like the show but it’s now spammed with ads on repeat for most of the show. I quit listening because of the ads and don’t have plans for a subscription. Until the last m 1/2-3/4 the show is filled with ads or asking for $ through Patreon. Feels like it’s more about the money than the stories. I quit listening a long time ago because it’s spammed with ads. I DO NOT recommend it unless you like a lot of ads

A lot of the reviews say that this was a great podcast before the constant barrage of ads every 5 minutes — but really? All these two podcasters do is basically talk about anything but the ghost stories. And when they finally do, they goof & rip on the story like 14 year olds in a Sex Ed class. The show ask listeners to send in their true ghost stories, but why would you when it’s clear that they don’t take the subject matter seriously. These are people who have obviously never encountered paranormal happenings but like to talk about it casually. If you’re looking for a podcast that does take the stories seriously, then swipe left on this one because it’s just off topic banter & blather. I wish the review stars could be set to “zero” for this show.

This used to be a good podcast years ago. Tony is soo rude and non stop opinions. it’s all banter,a lot of time with his adolescent daughter. Then non stop ads, and ads on a loop sometimes ten minutes which I can’t skip when driving. It’s maybe one or two ghost stories.This is now a hard pass.

Not a lot of available content for new listeners. Everything is behind a paywall. Ridiculous. And from the reviews half of the show is filled with ads anyway. Keep it.

I remember when they’d have a little dialogue before we got to hear the stories and in between stories, now it’s just random conversations majority of the time and being blasted with ads nonstop. I have to skip through 90% of the podcast just to hear an actual ghost story.

This was a go-to podcast of mine, but the shows are soooo loaded with ads. Like more ads than podcast. Please go back to the old format!

This podcast is a SCAM. The motive behind THIS podcast and GRAVE TALKS, is $$$! They just tease you with small parts of the story, then make you PAY $$ to hear the REST of it. I’m not a cheapskate, I sponsor 2 podcasts on Patreon. However, with this creator, the money $$ comes first, BEFORE the story. You only get 1/2 of the story, then tou have yo PAY to hear the rest of it!! NOPE!!

I’m a 14 years old living with my parents, I’ve been noticing some paranormal things in my house, this show lets me know what’s going on in my house hold my friends have so many reasonable explanations for it but I know that it’s something else, here’s a story, I was sleeping with my dog one time and my light starts to flicker my closet door starts opening and closeing my mom and dad are screaming and I wake up but I can hear something in my room so I hear it come closer and it whispers ‘don’t do it’ in a quite but not loud voice but I didn’t open my eyes. I love this podcast it kept me busy while on my week trip to south Carolina. This podcast is truely one of a kind

terrible format.. no episode names anymore, no descriptions, all ads! no way to access the old format episodes without paying. what a money grab. he clearly doesn’t care anymore

New format/ stories aren't great. Minimal effort put in now and it shows. If you are a long time listener you’ll hear old stories marketed as new. A few episodes ex. Revenge Ready are a must listen.

I love the stories, but I subscribed for $40 a year so I could be ad free. Well, I still get lots of ads. Very frustrating!

This was my 1st & favorite podcast ever. Tony’s background in radio made this more professional & to the point I got spoiled and couldn’t listen to any other podcast of people just rambling before getting to the story…..unfortunately that’s what this has turned into. It feels more like a joke now. The quality has gone down tremendously. Take a break Tony! Maybe it’s burnout or a big eff you to the fans. Either way…I can’t listen anymore. I’m sorry </3 Wish you the best still!

Why has your podcasts changed ?

I was a loyal listener for 5-6 years but have unsubscribed due to the new format. I miss the long episodes with several stories and the drone music. I just can’t get into the stories now because I’m always tuning out the constant ads.

I’ve been an EPP and listening to this podcast since 2015, but today I’m unsubscribing. I don’t like the shortened format change made earlier this spring with multiple episodes released each day, and there are WAY too many ads. I know ads = revenue, but it hasn’t always been like this. Along with the “Extra” episodes added daily and the recycled Classic episodes added each weekend, I feel like I’m being spammed by them. If you have quality content, then less is more - don’t feel pressured to churn out a product and make the episode list under the Podcast look like a junk folder that constantly needs cleaning out. I kept listening because I feel like I’ve come to know these people and I care about them. This was one of the first podcasts I ever subscribed to. I adore Carol and enjoy the addition of Kathy as well, but Tony hardly ever does these anymore with a cohost and I liked the banter before digging into stories. There’s so much skipping needed to get through ads and all of this has boiled down to this Podcast becoming a chore. In the future I would consider resubscribing if the formatting and ad issues were addressed.

I used to love this show I would listening all the time until the new format change. Now it’s just very brief story’s and a lot of talking and adds. The host has a few more podcasts that are structured the same way so he clearly doesn’t have the time to dedicate time to this postcast and it shows. Every episode used to be almost 2hrs long with multiple stories and minimal adds, now you can’t even hear an entire episode without paying for the second half, you’re just getting half~stories. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I subscribe to a number of podcasts, including several in the paranormal category. Real Ghost Stories Online is the best, hands down. I listen every day! There’s so much content, especially for EPPs. Thanks, Tony! That was my old review. Now the show is hardly listenable. So little content - feels like it’s just a place for ads.

I don’t listen to it like I used to since the episodes change to one story short episodes. Not sure why the episodes are so short now. The first 4-6 minutes are banter , 3 min of a story, then more banter. Then I have to grab my phone, click on the next one, fast forward and get a few minutes hands free before I have to do it all over again. Id rather listen to a longer podcast so i can put my phone down and listen for at least 30-40 min while doing my work.

I hate the new format. Not that it may matter to you, but most days now I just delete cause I don’t have time to sift through for 3 minutes of a story.

I love the podcast but it’s just too much of a hassle for 7minutes worth podscast I’m busy at work don’t have time to be grabbing my phone ever 6 or 7 minutes please make them longer

I have listened for 8 years but this past year the ads have taken over the episodes. It’s really unfortunate. Idk if they’re doing that so we can become EPP members or if the show is losing money. But it saddens me. I love ghost stories. I used to have the show playing throughout my workday but now I either don’t listen or I have to make sure I’m able to fast fwd thru the ads.

Too short, more commercials than show. Not impressed.

I used to love this podcast, it was a little bit of spooky, entertaining, & funny! I also Love the witty banter between the host & his guests! But it’s not the same anymore. Now we just get snippets of stories, that you can only listen to if you’re a Patreon! & the ads, you can’t forget the ads! It’s hardly worth clicking on a link to a story that’s maybe 11 minutes long!

Keep up the amazing work. Just signed up for 3day and still going to go $5 month now but next week I’m going to go full year. Maybe I’ll post some time about when I was growing up and visit my cousins and family members in Leon city Mexico.

Love the content but every single episode has blocks of ads that last four and five minutes - repeating the same ones over and over - it really ruins the quality of the shoe and becomes unlistenable unless you’re clinging to your phone so you can fast forward. I’ve never heard a podcast with this many ads on repeat.

I used to love this podcast and I keep hoping it goes back to the way it was. Now they run old episodes but episodes from maybe a year ago. It doesn’t seem like there’s as many new ones as there used to be and they do a ton of these “open lines” which arent typically that good.. maybe 5 minutes and tons of commercials… the commercials are a mess too they play the same one 5 times before the episode starts. I understand advertising is a part of it but why play the same commercial 5 times in a row. Tony just seems to not care about this podcast as much as he used too. They seem to get off topic more which getting off topic a little is fine but it’s a lot sometime. Tony has also gotten very judgmental lately. I think it’s great that he wants to include his daughter but I skip those episodes they just aren’t as good and I hate to say that but I think she’s too young to be hosting a podcast. Honestly if it wasn’t for Todd and Carol I wouldn’t have stayed as long as I have. I just keep hoping it will go back to how it used to be but I’m losing hope of that happening. Real ghost stories online is where I fell in love with listening to podcasts and it’s sad it’s gone down hill so quick.

Used to be a daily listener and I understand the need for ads but playing the same ad back to back up to 4 times is just way too much. It feels like a ploy to push the membership and that just feels like icky salesmanship to me.
