Started listening in 2018! Found it one day when my passion of Rollercoaster returned and I knew someone had to have made a podcast about them. Coaster Radio was the first one I clicked on and I have been listening since that day! Got to go Busch gardens Tampa meet up and make a fun memory with my wife. You guys are such a joy to listen on car rides,mowing. Can’t wait for all the future episodes!

I love this podcast I listen to it all the time. I found it about 6 months ago and have listened to all of the new ones and I am currently listening to season two. These guys are amazing and give good reports about theme park new and are just fun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve made it to the 2021 season. I still haven’t listened to any of the new episodes as I’m flowing through the whole catalog in chronological order. I’m almost caught up after all this time. The content never ceases to amuse me. Keep up the great work

Too much fluff and self promotion. The guys clearly have not worked in the industry. If you want “surface level” opinions, you’ve come to the right place. I much prefer In the Loop.

This is my favorite theme park podcast. I love Mike and EB's spin on all the latest news in the theme park industry. This show is a hybrid of a new cast and a campy variety show. I made this review in 2017 and just updating it for 22. Still a great podcast. Love the show!

Mike and EB are smart, entertaining, funny and passionate about coasters. You can really hear their friendship come through in their banter and I always look forward to Thursday when it comes out. I’m so glad I found this podcast.

Mike and EB are the real deal. Started listening to their podcast on my 4 and a half hour drive down to Hershey Park and am hooked now. Can’t wait to see you guys at the coaster meet up in Tampa (and ride Iron Gwazi for the first time too). Keep up the great work guys!

Started listening back in 2020 and have listened to every episode as they’ve come out. Currently working through the hundreds of episodes in the back catalog. This is my favorite podcast of all time, Mike and EB have provided nearly two decades of fantastic commentary on the goings on in the world of theme parks and thrill rides. They’ve veered away from their origin as a “radio morning show” a bit since the early days but the content hasn’t suffered one bit. The casual fan and the enthusiast will both find something to enjoy in Mike and EB’s weekly musings, and the community that they’ve built is unmatched in coaster enthusiast circles. Love the show and keep up the great work.

Some of the segments they do are pretty cringe and require a lot of suspension of disbelief, but they are pretty good when they just deliver the news straight

This used to always be a fun listen, but it has increasingly become more cynical and negative (and I started listening in the middle of the pandemic, so you’d expect it to become more positive with time). I know that there was a recent family tragedy that must weigh heavily on the hosts’ minds and perhaps this is the factor that has caused the show to veer toward cynicism, but it has become a drag. A podcast about theme parks should be pure escapism.

Coaster radio is the original theme park podcast! The guys put on a great well run show and are a Consistent presence week after week. A true show for the casual and fanatic theme park audience

This show is so great in that its not only super hardcore coaster enthusiast gold (which I love), but also that the hosts are incredibly charming and funny.

Usually I try to be jokey in my reviews of podcasts, but this is just awesome. The hosts are charismatic, and they cover really neat stuff. Even though I’m new to the thrill-seeker fandom, I can tell I’ll be listening to this for a while.

Seriously my favorite podcast of all time. Mike and EB are endlessly entertaining, and every episode is both informative and hilarious. Enthusiast or not, once you start listening you won’t want to stop.

This podcast is amazing. Two guys sitting around talking roller coasters, theme parks, and life. The last year was rough, but Mike and E.B. Did their best to provide the best content available. The community they have created is amazing, and the live look in recordings and chat room is always inviting.

I tend to go through phases with my podcast listening — some months its the big political shows, some it’s the NBA or MLB, some it’s comedy or interviews or whathaveyou. I’ll listen for a while, get sick of the repetition, and move on — returning every so often, in a cycle. Coaster Radio is not one of those podcasts for me. You may not think it’s possible to do a weekly theme park and roller coaster podcast, and to an extent, you’re right — it’s not. Mike and EB, however, make their show about so much more than that niche might indicate. It’s every bit as much about travel, friendship, getting older, and meeting new people as it is about the new Intamin or what might get RMC’d next. It’s about how important it is to just have fun for the sake of having fun, from dumb characters to fireworks to on-air whisky tastings, and so on. They are knowledgeable about their subject matter, yes. Mike is a genuine Disney Parks expert (although he is a realist, and not as saccharine and grating as many in the Disney Podcast world), and though this is decidedly not a Disney Podcast, his takes on the current Disney happenings are among the best you’ll hear. He’s also a professional, and is largely responsible for the high quality product you’ll hear week-to-week. EB is a happy-go-lucky counterpart, always chiming in with a perfectly timed joke, a blazing hot take, or some excellent roller coaster knowledge. His genuine love not just for major roller coasters and theme parks, but also the smaller spots with eclectic history comes through each episode. He’s the perfect yin to Mike’s yang, adding some zaniness to Mike’s otherwise polished structure. And then, of course, there’s the community. As much a part of the show as the hosts, the Coaster Radio community is without parallel. Recurring regulars, live trip reports, interactive topics, game shows, meet ups — all of these things take what can sometimes be a solitary experience of podcast listening and extent it out to become something like a family. This show has the juice. If you’re at all interested in theme parks and thrill rides, don’t hesitate to hop on this bandwagon. You’ll be kicking yourself that you didn’t do so sooner.

This is a really good podcast if you love theme parks. I never new they they had a podcast like this until a month ago. I love rollercoasters and theme parks. So this was a perfect thing for me. I highly recommend this and you should listen. Good job Mike and E.B.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for 9 years. It has gone from a good, simple, and entertaining show to a world class podcast with exceptional content including interviews from top minds in the industry! All this while still maintaining their down - to - earth charm. Great interaction and pacing. For those of us who listen while driving, please note that this podcast gives good attention to balancing sound levels. You won’t have to play with the volume control when they interview guests or even when they’re just creating entertaining banter among themselves. I look forward to the show especially when driving long distances. I would skip and save up weeks and weeks to binge. I’m 66 yrs old and have been enjoying coasters and rides since I was 8. (Maybe their oldest listener?) My kids and grandkids also enjoy listening when they’re riding with me, (They always keep it kid friendly) and I’ve passed on my love of coasters to both generations. Listened to this show for years and really enjoyed it. Lately it seems that politics have been sneaking into the show and the hosts have been talking about themselves way too much. Not the reliable escapism it used to be.

Been listening for about a year and a half now and can’t get enough! Such a great podcast about the theme park industry. Lots of great interviews and I’m really hoping I can make it to the meetup this summer! Keep up the good work fellas.

I don’t get to travel much, and this podcast takes me to every single park in the US. I live thirty minutes from Kings Island, and the more you talk about KI the more I love this podcast. I want to listen to every episode, but there’s way too much forced humor and fake laughter. The sidekick is especially annoying, always trying so hard to be funny. This could be such a great theme park podcast, but it is marred by bad stand up comedy.

This show is run by a fantastic community who care about the listeners. They truly speak to theme park fans across the globe.

This podcast is super great to listen to, whether you're just sitting around, at the gym, at the library, at work, or on a long car drive, this podcast really does have it all! It was recommended to me by a friend over the summer and I haven't stopped listening to it since. It's very easy to access, especially on Alexa, and thoroughly entertaining if you enjoy the amusement industry. Keep it up, Mike and E.B.! EDIT: I got a job as a delivery driver, and I listen to this all the time on my runs. So informative, and I want to add this as well: I used to be a closet Coaster Enthusiast, and these guys really kind of helped me realize that there was an entire community built around the themed entertainment industry, and I can't be more thankful for that, as it really helped me to become myself and find more resources for my hobby. Mike and EB continue to keep it fresh week after week. As a listener since Season 1, it's been so amazing to see the podcast grow and become what it is today. I definitely recommend this podcast to anyone interest in theme parks; whether it be someone who casually visits a theme park once a year, or a coaster enthusiast.

Love all the info. Hate how they refer to enthusiasts as “coaster boys” all the time. Not all enthusiasts are “boys” or men. It doesn’t feel inclusive. I do enjoy the program other than that.

Can a rollercoaster podcast be not-miss year round in an industry that isn't year-round in most parts of the country? I'd say "yes" but instead I'd challenge you to subscribe and find our why "yes" is a no-brainer. Mike and EB present a fun, interactive, intelligent yet subtly-subversive take on the industry that will draw you in without hooking you up to a Scientology-like-machine. (Unless that's your thing Mr. Cruise or Mr. Travolta. But not Mr. Patrick-Harris - which will make sense when you listen.) But seriously - give it a listen. Then a second listen. Then a third. And I challenge you not to go all the way back 13 seasons to learn why it has endured and shows no signs of slowing down.

Newer listener, about one year, and I am hooked. Mike and EB have great chemistry together. They compliment each other without trying to over shine one another. Makes you wish you could jump in and be part of their conversation. Topics, quick hits, first drops, talking points are all true to the purpose of the podcast. Haha, I’m not sure how i started listening to this podcast but here I am, still listening faithfully to every episode three years later. The hosts, Mike and E.B. (Or is it Ebee?) personify the great American personality of the public broadcasting employee who insists on declaring himself “uncool” to make himself seem cool while attempting to glorify the most uncool and meaningless subjects about which one can discuss. The sincerity that Mike and E.B. perform their weekly pas de deux (coupled with their outstanding production value) seemingly seduced me into looking forward to listening to their pulp journalism and editorials regarding the amusement industry every week. I recommend the show to anyone with a heart and a willingness to spend an hour listening to a podcast at the end of which invariably leaves him or her wondering “what was that to which I just listened?” Keep up the great work guys. I love the show.

I’ve been listening for 3 years during a so far 4 year coaster addiction, and I’ve enjoyed the 95% of the show that covers coasters.
