Tod, Dave, and Barry (The Regular Joes) are fun to listen to as they discuss and dissect the popular arts including movies, TV, and toys. They keep a fun meta-perspective while also diving into the details for an all-around fan immersion. Tod does a great job bringing a comic book perspective, an unfortunately small media that has the potential to produce greatness (keep it up). Beware though - their recommendations from collectibles to flashlights to life-changing electronics can be expensive and habit-forming. Keep up the great work fellas.

Except that they became friends due to the shared interests we all share, so really, every episode they're speaking my language, and therefore if you're here looking for a podcast about all things Pop Culture, movies, tv, comics, toys, etc, then they're speaking your language too. This is a highly entertaining show where Dave, Barry and Tod (and sometimes others) discuss in great detail the coolest new stuff, including entertainment news, reviews of new shows, old shows, movies that are getting great buzz, and verdicts on whether or not they deserve it. What's in the Box? They talk about items they bought recently. What's on the Bench? They talk about projects they are currently working on, because as knowledgable as the three are, they are also hugely talented in their own right, creating items, model kits, painting, prop replicas, all manner of creative endeavors. Really, what more can you want? One a day? Yeah, well that's not gonna happen. So we're happy enough with one a week. Listen!

After listening to Episode 239, I was inspired to write a review of the podcast. It was a lot of fun taking a trip down memory lane and hearing about some of the highlights from the past five years. I’ve enjoyed listening to every episode (Star Trek V live commentary was kind of rough ;-), since I started a couple of years ago. The banter between the three of you has been as enjoyable, if not more, than the content of the episodes themselves. I've been listening to The Regular Joes Podcast for over 4 years now. I stumbled across them in a GI Joe Club comic strip called Regular Joe. I listened to the first episode and went back and listened to most of the previous podcast. If you are into movies, comics or collecting toys or high end toys this is your show. Still enjoying the podcast immensely. They joke about it going long, but I'd rather have more than less. They share many of my interests and even when they talk about stuff I'm not into, they're interesting and entertaining. If you like Sci-Fi, GI Joes, comics, collecting, this is the podcast for you. I love the Regular Joes! If you're into toys, movies, tv or comics then these guys are for you. I've been listening for several years now, and look forward to a new episode every week. I will say lately the show has become a little formulaic and there's been too much talk about tv shows. I wish they would bring on some guests or do some interviews to kind of change things up from time to time. Overall though, it's a great listen!

As a long time fan of Sci-Fi, comics, and toys, this show is the best. Thanks for podcasting guys. Never found podcast era I would more want to by a beer.

I first tuned in with episode 100 and have been hooked ever since. The 3 regular Joes are entertaining and informative as they shoot the breeze and talk about their latest toy acquisitions, what's on TV, or what's coming out. Love the regular segments like "Shirt Up" and "What's in the box." It's good to hear the perspective of longtime collectors and fans. Keep up the good work Tod, Dave, and Barry!

I get a kick out of listening to this podcast regularly. I know nothing about collecting, but I do love sci fi. I enjoy hearing their opinions about different movies and television shows... My faves are their conspiracy theories and hearing about their travels and the people they meet along the way.

These guys do such an amazing job! Great production values. No agendas, just 3 friends sharing their passion with the world.

Just don't call them geeks. If you don't have someone locally to hang out with and discuss the great toys, monsters, sci-fi, and pop culture from the 60s through today, then Barry, Tod, and Dave are the next best thing. I heard about this podcast by chance, and ended up down loading all the episodes to listen to, gotta say its great, lots of variety, easy to listen to, and keeps me wanting more, I almost like driving in heavy traffic now. I love hearing about The Adventure Team, Planet of the Apes, Batman 60s' TV Show & Star Trek the original series. I can't go wrong with this show. Plus, I've never liked Tim Burton either. Keep these coming! I'm hoping you guys do a Halloween in the 70's episode too.

Dave, Tod, and Barry do a great job communicating their personal experiences and enthusiasm for pop culture through plain, intelligible and grounded discussion. Anyone who grew up in the ‘60’s, ‘70’s or ‘80’s, or anyone interested in pop culture, can relate to this group of guys and many know people just like them. The dynamics of these pod casts are a perfect formula for sharing common experiences and it’s easily understood why these guys are so appropriately named ‘Regular Joes’.

Aka 5/5. Very good show. Episodes are consistently uploaded, and they are the perfect length. Long enough for me to feel that I'm actually getting something out of the show, but not so long that I begin to lose interest. It's clear that these guys know what they're talking about, and they have a lot of passion about this show. Great job!

This is a great new podcast. These guys have put a lot of work into coming up with some orignal discussions and topics. I like the way it makes me feel like I'm sitting around talking with a group of friends, not just listening to a radio show.

Beam me up scotty! These guys know their stuff. Whether they are talking toys, movies, or sci-fi props the information they know is amazing. Their back and forth banter and humor made the podcast easy to listen. After the the hour went by so fast, I had to download the next episode. I can't wait to hear the future podcasts.
