I absolutely love this podcast. Dr. Yasir Qhadi is an incredible speaker. I feel like his lectures have brought me closer to Islam. I feel more at peace when I’m listening to his lectures. I am also listening to his Seerah series and it’s wonderful.

I have been listening to Yasir Qadhi and many other scholars may Allah bless them all for many years. I have respect and reverence for all of them but I think Yasir Qadhi is on another level. His knowledge and grasp on the subject is legendary. I read a lot too but I am no scholar but in my humble opinion Yasir Qadhi is a legendary scholar of our time people will be referring to him 100-200 years from now . I hope he lives a long and healthy life and continue to educate us . When I was younger I came to US from Middle East ( I am not an Arab) at that time I was fed up with practice of islam in Middle East . Coming to America I became an agnostic for a year or so but thanks to Hamza Yusuf and Yasir Qadhi ( May Allah reward them and all our scholars) showed me the true essence of Islam and what it means to be a Muslim . Alhamdulilah I try to be a practicing Muslim now and I have firm believe in my faith. In short guys Yasir Qadhi is a giant scholar of our time listen to him , benefit from him. Please no hate toward any scholar we need to love our scholars , it’s not easy to put yourself out there in this age of social media.

I am an American Muslim who has not learned Arabic other than salaat. Can someone please tell me the reciter and what the reciter is saying after Brother Yasir speaks? The recitation is so beautiful I’d like to know what is being said.

May Allah bless and protect Sh. Dr. YQ. He’s the most practical and pragmatic scholar there is. He separates revelation from opinions. He makes things easy (i.e., Yasir) & makes easy for the average Muslim to hang on to what is necessary. Some people (sincere, nonetheless) don’t like to hear anyone contradicting their sheikhs, as if the opinion of their shaykh was the revelation. MashaAllah. May Allah bless and protect him and increase him in all the Khair and protect him from the envy of the envies and attack of the unwise.

I recently started listening to him on YouTube and instantly fell in love with the way he simply breaks his lectures out. Most nights I can’t fall asleep without listening to his lectures and learning more and more about my religion. Thank you sir.

I love to keep up with all of the latest episodes, but I especially enjoy that I can always go back and start a new series whenever I am interested in learning more in depth about a certain topic. The seerah series is by far my favorite English resource on the life of the Prophet, may peace be upon him. My Allah bless Yasir Qadhi’s hard work!

I love how he gives the talks without making it drag on and on. Unfortunate as it sounds, i get bored easily but I love how he tells things.

Alhamdu lillah. May Allah increase the sheikh in knowledge and protect him. I believe the sheikh has a more balanced approach to teaching the deen. I especially appreciated his lecture on wiping over the socks. I had read that the madhaahib were unanimous on only wiping over leather socks. The sheikh presented the position of Ibn Qudamah who was the leading Hanbali scholar of his time. Just to sum, Ibn Qudāmah’s books are the leading Hanbali fiqh books taught today and are even taught at Ummul Qura in Saudia Arabia. Umdah Fil Fiqh being the starting book and Al-Mughni being the most advanced. He was of the position that one could wipe over cloth socks. This means that one of the four madhaahib did accept wiping over cloth socks. The sheikh, in my opinion being balanced, was willing to share this information with us. May Allah reward him, give him Tawfiq and protect him. Abdul-Rahman Muhammad NYC

Shaykh Yasir has done an excellent job in covering lot of controversial topics in Seerah lectures i.e. history of Islam.

Imagine having one of the best teachers sit down and give a full length college class on seerah, tafsir, fiqh, and other important topics. That’s what you get. Sh. Yasir is an excellent instructor and explains everything in a manner that is easy to understand, remember, and apply, Mashallah.

After listening to a few lecturers give the seerah , anyone that asks me I say “ you want to learn the seerah , take it from Ustaz Yasir Qadhi “ mashallah May Allah bless him and barik his life , family and work in this life and the next. I’m extremely grateful that this is on podcast , it really makes it so much easier and convenient to listen to off line.

Alhamdulillah, Sh Yasir Qadhi has enabled us, especially those of us in North America, to come closer to true ’ilm with his many lectures and lessons. The Seerah series especially is better than any Seerah book I've read in English. Allah-ybaarikluhum.
