The GPL Podcast

The GPL Podcast, part of the Pulltab Sports family, is a roundtable type of format that talks about the University of Minnesota Men's Hockey Team, BigTen Hockey and College Hockey in general. It is a weekly podcast that happens during the college hockey season. (October - April) The host is Craig Cotner "Jupiter" who runs the GopherPuckLive.com website. He is joined by Eric Vegoe who covers the Gophers as a writer for GopherPuckLive. We also have special guests join the program from time to time.

Great behind the scenes look

This podcast is very knowledgeable about this team and college hockey in general. Yes, it skews towards Minnesota. Did you read the name. Usually a combo of discussion and interviews with the coach and players. More access than most NHL podcasts when it comes to hockey.

Yes, a bit homerish to non gopher hockey fans I'd imagine... But then again it IS a podcast about gopher hockey so what do you expect? They are clearly passionate fans and it's nice to hear their takes. I appreciate it.

Ok Gophercast

What is the relationship here with ESPN 1500? Is this on their radio station? Bring back the Beer Show or give The Rook his own web only podcast, he has a lot of random knowledge that is fun to hear about food, etc. Overall I am very happy with the ESPN 1500 lineup and it is my go to for all things MN! GL is the best followed by Judd Show, the weekend sports talk is great keep that also!!!!!!

Great College Hockey Knowledge

This is a great college hockey podcast. I was so excited a few years back when this popped up because there are so few college hockey podcasts around. It is great to be able to get news on the local team, since college hockey is not a hot topic on the local radio. These guys to great job.

Great podcast with discussion of the current team, potential recruits with commentary on past and upcoming games. Worth the hour every week.

Arrogance at its finest.

This podcast is the epitome of the "our crap doesn't stink, we're gods gift to Minnesota hockey" arrogance typical of the majority of gopher fans. The only reason it gets three stars is because its about college hockey and there's so few podcasts on the subject.
