It genuinely makes my day whenever I see a new Geek Out Loud, or any of the GOLiverse shows, has downloaded to my phone.

It’s fun, it’s clean, it’s geeky, and it scratches the 80’s nostalgia itch. What more could you possibly ask for?! I would recommend this to ANYONE who was (or still is at heart) an 80’s kid and/or just loves all things geeky.

This is hands down one of the funnest podcasts I’ve listened to. Steve always has great insight on the topics he speaks on. Also, I wrote the theme song to Pass The Corn, so you definitely want to listen to those!

Not everything discussed is my cup of tea but honestly listening to Steve bring his brand of positivity to and talk about some nerd stuff I'm not familiar with is fun and enjoyable. Steve is a talented and funny guy and while his show can go off the rails at times, you are glued to it and can not help but be entertained. I often Time find myself laughing out loud in public while listening to it. He is one of the few who can carry a show by himself and while he doesn't need any guests on, when he does does have some on it takes the show to a whole new level. Rarely does real world issues get brought up into the show, which is a nice break from the other shows. Highly recommend for the entertainment value.

What can you say about a show where the host lets his true colors show? The sheer vitriolic disdain he shows to anyone that isn't a straight, white man is disgusting.

There is no more joy in this show. It's become just as snarky as the people Steve Glosson set out to provide an alternative too.

Steve Glosson is one of the funniest human beings on the planet. It is nice to have a Christian voice in the geek community when it seems that in the community Christians have been shamed because of their viewpoints. That being said he doesn't condone people who don't share his viewpoints which is wonderful. Truly a "safe place" to feel out! Even more fun to listen live!

The kindest man is fandom, hands down

Steve has a way of covering all the favorite parts of my childhood that are still my favorites as an adult. From Star Wars to Superheros, Movies to TV, and everything fun. A positive, entertaining place to be reminded of everything that is fun in life.

Steve is awesome and his positivity is greatly appreciated. Being similar in age I feel like we could have been separated at birth. Erich is great when they Pass the Corn. Other guests sometimes drop in. Let a little Steve into your ears and you'll thank me later. And if you were a kid in the 80's or early 90's you'll find a lot in common.

I've been listening to Steve for years now, and this is my fav show to listen to every week. If you love positive geek talk you must listen. Steve is a great host, and very funny guy. Update 12/23/16 Listening to Steve talk about his love for Rocky got me to watch them for the first time, and I loved them. Thank you Steve for being you, and introducing this old geek to things I always thought were not my cup of tea. I've been listening to Geek Out Loud since 2008. Steve continues to be the most fun, positive and heartfelt voice in the "Geek" community. This podcast helped bring me from feeling like there was almost no one out there with whom I could relate, to a place where I'm perfectly comfortable letting my geek flag fly. This show has taken things I already love and given me a deeper appreciation and understanding of them that I didn't think was possible. How cool is that? The humble host, Steve will tell you the show is mediocre, but I believe it's great. If you share my passion for things like Star Wars and super heroes, then this is the perfect place for you to park your ears.

I just can't say enough about Geek Out Loud. It is my FAVORITE geek podcast. What I love about it is how positive the show is. So many things geek have become complaining and criticizing which just gets me down. Noe with this show it talks about everything great and fun with geek culture. I just have such a fun time listening to every episode. Definitely one of my weekly highlights.

I love Steve's new segment "Hate Out Loud" where we learn that Steve Glossen hates Star Wars and just how bad "Batman v Superman" really was! Hehe, just kidding. This podcast is still a "safe place to geek out loud". While Steve Glossen will sometimes be critical of a movie, its out of disappointment that he should have loved it but didnt, he goes out of way to point out the good things in the movie, what would have made it better, and he never berates listeners who hold different opinions from him.

Steve is a sweaty nerd and a preachers son. I am also both these things. I don't have a lot of good friends who understand my point of view but when I download an episode of Geek Out Loud or Mark Out Loud or even Round Three I get to spend time with a friend how understands my point of view. Love this podcast. Found it listening to RFR and have been faithful for over a year now. Pass the corn is my favorite show and Erich rocks. Steve could have no guests and still put out an amazingly great show. No need to be a geek to appreciate, you only need a touch of good taste.

Steve Glosson is a master podcaster. It can be really tough to anchor a show in positivity week in and week out, but he's somehow been doing it for years. I subscribe to a few geeky podcasts (Rebel Force Radio, Brews and Blasters) but this is the only open-format genre discussion show that I listen to on a regular basis. It helps that I'm roughly the same age as Steve and share many of the same influences and enthusiasms, but the show is so accepting that I'd feel welcome and comfortable even if I hadn't. Whether he's discussing what does and doesn't work in the latest wave of superhero movies or his adventures in geedom, this podcast is always approachable, welcoming, and affirming. It's a great podcast anchored by a great guy.

This podcast has gone downhill with negative commentary. I mean, I could tune in every week to listen to a guy who doesn’t seem to like anything, but thats not really fun.

I've been listening since his early SHoE days and he only gets better. With so many different casts he does you would think he's wearing himself thin. No chance!! Keep up the great work

One of my favorite podcasts. I’ve been listening to the show for over 7 year and its keeps getting better with time. It is awesome to listen to someone talk about geeky things without getting negative. He covers a little bit of everything, and even if I am not particularly interested in a specific topic, Steve discusses those topics in such a way that I listen anyway.

I've listened to this and other goliverse podcasts for around 8 years. It has been there for me in the good times and the bad. I look forward to the next episode as soon as I finish the last. Please give it a listen, whether your a geek, film nerd, or tv buff this podcast is for you.
