Easily the best PWHL podcast out there so far. Sound quality is great and production is top notch. Guests are insightful and the hosts seem to have great access to the players who are all forthcoming and open in the interviews. *Decent* coverage of all 6 teams, but a clear bias towards the Canadian teams/players vs US teams/non-Canadian players. Perhaps this is because both hosts are Canadian? Since this is the official podcast of a league in its second year there should be an effort to get fans of all teams equal access to each team and a broader range of individual players (I’ve started a “Pou counter” for the number of times the hosts name drop MPP). I haven’t found any decent standalone podcasts for the team I follow, and rely on this show for news and analysis on my team. Please broaden the coverage of all teams.

I’m not sure how Tessa & Julia, and their producers thought keeping Brock’s rant on how being ostracized for being gay is comparable to cancel culture. Truthfully they could’ve found a better voice to speak on the hurt the PWHL community is feeling with the signing of Brita Curl. I really wanted to love this podcast but they lost a listener with that episode.

Julia and Tessa are the best!! So cool to get insights from former players and having the women on gives a really cool players perspective!

I’m new to hockey - didn’t grew up with it but my girls play and they’ve fallen in love with the sport. I love that Julia & Tessa give a behind the scenes look into the PWHL and women’s hockey but make it approachable even if you’re a newer fan like me. The interviews have been so fun, love getting to know the players!

My sister just told me about this podcast and I’m so excited it exists! It is awesome to have a place that is covering the league and giving updates on how the teams are doing. They have already had on some really good guests that make you feel connected to the league. I think they have a great blend of hockey knowledge and are fun and entertaining. I love the amazing coverage for the league but also love that they are now moving on to covering it like any other pro league where they can criticized when needed. Excited to continue following throughout the season!
