Shannen you should write a book
Shannen you should write a book about your life and how you became an actor. I just want you to know that you are in my prayers. Just know that God will never leave nor forsake you & that is with you no matter what.
  • its ok?🥴

Thank you for sharing your Cancer story!!
Shannon, I cannot thank you enough for sharing your cancer journey with everyone. The episodes have helped me tremendously by validating my feelings since being diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. I shared the podcast with my husband and he said that we had so many of the same conversation that you did. I found your podcast by accident one day and am so grateful to God that he lead me to yours. I too feel that my cancer is a gift from God. Not everyone understands that but I do appreciate everyday so much more now. Thank you again and I will pray for you!!

    Tears and goosebumps
That beautiful conversation between Shannen and Katherine Heigl gave me tears and goosebumps. It was really generous of Katherine and her mother to offer their help and support. I also couldn’t help but feel like the universe had somehow orchestrated this introduction on Shannen’s behalf in a way that may help shift the narrative about what a diagnosis can mean. It reminds me of this quote from the documentary Heal: “Believe the diagnosis but not the prognosis.” I’ve always admired Shannen for the energy she’s carried herself with through such difficult circumstances. She’s truly a living, breathing inspiration and I wish her good health and good fortune in all she does. I’ve always been a fan of Katherine but this conversation touched my heart on a deeper level and gave me completely new insight into who she is beyond being an incredibly talented actress. This was one of my favorite conversations to date - beyond touching and inspiring!

    ❤️
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your honesty and transparency. You are as real as they come. I know personally how hard they make it for a woman to be herself and speak her mind. You are so intelligent and so talented. Thank you for paving the way and speaking your truth. So many prayers for your good health and well being. Sending you so much love, healing and positivity. You rock!

    Real and raw
Shannen, I have had stage 4 colon cancer since 2017. I am now on chemo for life. I had my first port removed in 2018 only to have to have it put back in 6 months later. No one knows what cancer patients truly go through unless you are a cancer patient yourself. Most days I lie in bed and watch life pass me by at age 52. Luckily, I am responding well to treatment but as we know that can change in an instant. Thank you for being so real and raw in describing what this life is like. Praying for your new treatment to be successful.

    Love Your Strength
Shannon you are truly and inspiration. Thank you for bringing some solace to those who have had a troubling life. I’ve always adored you. Thank you for being you. I admire your friendship with Holly Marie Combs. I want to know if you will be touching base on the movie Heathers where you stole the role. Also will you be discussing the the television adaptation of Heathers. Would really enjoy hearing about both these parts you played. I loved and enjoyed your character. Thank you for being so amazing. And I hope one day I will have the opportunity to shake your hand and thank you for making the world so beautiful. Words cannot express how I feel towards you. And I’m almost embarrassed to say, but blessed be. Love you

    Life
I wasn’t a huge fan of podcasts, but now I stand corrected. Shannon is an amazing human being. She’s made me think about life. Someone who deals with depression, this has helped me immensely.

    LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.
I look forward to listening every week! I love Shannon’s ability to be vulnerable and guarded at the same time. She’s open and honest and I love that she’s telling her story her own way. I grew up watching her every week so it’s like visiting with an old friend. Keep shining!🖤✨🫶🏼

    Love Mama Rosa episodes
I always liked Shannen as an actor and as a person. I enjoy her work and felt she represented us women who were more outspoken… and perhaps fiery (although why is it fiery when a woman speaks up but Tuesday when a man does?). I listened to this podcast initially because of her saying her truth over the years and suspected she might have things to share that I would grow and learn from. I have and do. Hearing her stories and perspective deepens my understanding of myself and life. Which is why storytelling is so powerful. In a more nuanced way, its deepened my understanding of how media and our culture shapes the narrative of women and how we internalize that. Especially women who dare to stand up, be powerful, and say their truth. It gives me this sense of solidarity and community with women. I appreciate how honest, deep, and humble she is and that I learn from her. I particularly have enjoyed the episodes with her mother. Both are so real and themselves, which seem different and complimentary to each other. These episodes show such different ways of demonstrating strength and being yourself. Shannen’s sense of play, fun, and prioritizing joy is a good reminder. Some of the fights aren’t worth it. But! Some are. And I appreciate that she says that so clearly. I just don’t get to see many women like her, representing a more complex and interesting ‘us’ and am grateful she lets us in. Wishing her continued fortune in advances in science to keep her here.

It’s been so good to listen to your voice again. I grew up watching Little house on the prairie and 90210 and the moment you left, I stopped watching! I also love your made for TV movies on lifetime. Sending you positive vibes and prayers for healing.

    Stumbled across this
I’m really shocked how much I love this podcast, because it is outside my normal style. But Shannon has been with me through my whole life from Little House to 90210 to Charmed. I love her authenticity and her integrity. Tell your story, girlfriend. Tell it your way and don’t ever apologize!

    Love Love Love
I love this Podcast. I’ve learned so much about cancer and overall health by listening to Shannen’s stories. I also love how open Shannen is about her experiences, her mistakes, and lessons learned. Great guests on the show as well. It’s a nice balance of medical professionals, celebrity friends and family. Thank you Shannen for opening up and letting us be a part of your journey. You’re always my favorite 90210 cast member!!! #teambrenda

I’m a big fan my mom had cancer two time I call her super woman. Love the content and the way you are clarifying everything is amazing. Would like to know what you think of Alysa as an actress. I think you are an amazing human and actress, I have followed your career since little house. Would love to see you in another project soon. Praying for you and hoping life is long and happy for you.

Love Shannen but who edits this??
Some edits are so choppy and poorly done, you practically hear a record scratch. One sentence crashing into another sentence, mid word sometimes. And then two part episodes just fall off a cliff with no mention that the show ended or that there is even a part 2. Does a producer listen to how this sounds before publishing? Has anyone who works on this show ever taken a broadcast 101 class? But wait. You don’t need a college class to know that you should make sure your edits don’t crash into each other and that the end of the show needs a proper close. This show has ended in the middle of a conversation more than once. God knows it’s not Shannen’s fault. But I’ve worked in podcasts (radio at first) for almost 20 years and listening to the way this is produced just hurts. A lot of this stuff isn’t even that hard. Make a clean edit. Mention that there’s a part 2 coming, don’t just let the show fall off a cliff into nowhere. There’s a lot more production help this show needs, but good lord let’s start there. Giving this a 5 because of Shannen. But you’re killing me, iHeart. There’s a reason why it has such a poor reputation in the podcast world for just recording whatever and throwing it out there.

    👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is the first podcast review I have written, and I feel compelled to do so, after also listening to other recent celebrity podcasts. Shannen’s podcast is intelligent, educational, and entertaining. A real triple-threat. I look forward to every Monday. I appreciate her candor, wit, and intellect. As a fan of 90210 my appreciation for her has grown since listening to the podcast and seeing how she is handling life’s challenges with grace and a sense of humor. Shannon (BTW-great name 😉)

    Warm & Informational
Shannen tramples on the cancer stigma (do we expect anything less of her?!) and opens her world to us. She didn’t ask for this but, wow, what a glimpse we have into her life & what a source of encouragement for those in & around her generation. One sassy lady to another - thank you, Shannen. You are doing an amazing job! Thoughts & prayers lifted for you.

    Awesome!!!
Amazing - real and honest. Love all of the eps and understanding more about the scene in the 90’s….wonder if you would consider having Jennie Garth on? (All in the family at Iheart -). Would love to hear you guys discuss almost anything. Either way - you rock Shannen!!!

I pray you are able to continue this podcast for your entire journey. I love hearing your truth about the past roles you have played and I really enjoy what you are sharing in regards to your cancer journey. So many times you say what I thought while going through my cancer journey and it has been nice knowing someone else felt that too. Great job on sharing your truth! I am here for it all!

Cut off - is there more?
I tuned into my first one of these podcasts to hear about Tori Spelling’s journey and was enjoying the memory lane…even with random in coming call beeps. But then it just cuts off and ends? Is there a Part 2? I agree there needs to be better editing and not put out a podcast that is rushed and leaves the listener confused.

    REF: wonderful!
This is such a great podcast! My husband of 37 years and I watched 90120 every week! We would call his sister and her husband and discuss the episode!! We would “rush” home to get everything done so we could watch!! LOL.. great memories! Tori & you should do a movie.

    Superb
I’m loving every second of this podcast. Shannen just absolutely seems saw raw, authentic, & brutally honest in the most respectable way. It’s a fun side of Shannen that we don’t get to see. It’s a small window into all sides of Shannen. From being clear on topics of life, living, lessons learned we get pieces of Shannen that we never thought we would see from her. She’s so inspirational in this podcast that every second I’m just completely hooked.
  • PapaFrerking
    Five stars for Shannen
But the editor(s) need improvement. Better for an episode to go out late or miss a week than throw something up that reflects poorly on the host/star/guests.
  • DeannaWVU
    The real deal podcast
Thank you so much Shannen for bringing on celebrity guests in the industry so they can share their stories with us, as well as the medical experts who provide so much education about our health and medical procedures. I look forward to listening every week and greatly appreciate such an authentic podcast. Any chance that we can purchase some Let’s Be Clear merchandise in the future?!?

Shannen never fails to capture your attention and inspire you, she is a such a bright light in this dark world. She’s been so many things for so many people and still manages to stay strong and be the best person she can be. This podcast has been very inspiring, not everyone can talk through their issues and manage to do the right thing. Shannen is selfless, honest, and admirable.

I wish I could talk to you!
You have always touched my heart. We are the same age (Happy early Birthday!) When I 1st saw you on Little house my family teased you were my twin! (It was our teeth!) But I have loved your acting and I feel like meeting you would be very special. I’m going to write a bucket list and put you on it!
  • Weendoog
    Thank you
I just listened to the Let’s Be Raw podcast. Shannon is so vulnerable in this podcast. I appreciate Shannon be thoughtful and processing out loud. My husband and I are in the process of making some decisions about our future…where we want to live…as we start looking at retirement. This was just a reminder of how short time can be…and to value what is most important…time spent with loved ones.
  • JSC1971

    Hugs beautiful episode and show
I just want to give you a big hug! Thank you for your beauty inside & out! I’m a caregiver for my Mother with Alzheimer’s . It’s very difficult and I often wonder about her bucket list.. This was a very powerful episode to me . I loved how you are going to make more beautiful lasting memories It hurts me tremendously because she will has no more memories to make. What is your thoughts on how you would really want to leave . Would it be easier to not remember your life when you go? What are your thoughts My mom had some very difficult times in her life. So maybe it’s a blessing and a curse for her … Sara

    Fair to middling
This is alright. The ads for casinos are wack. Some guests are cool (Christina Ricci), some are long winded and boring (Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestly).
