    Misleading
I thought this would be a podcast about the person on the cover art or some interesting facts about him. Instead it was a boring slow paced walk about explaining someone’s random family tree. I kept hoping to hear why it was 5 stars.

    So hard to follow
This show is hardly about Sweet day Grace and more about the cape verdian culture/heritage for the narrator. I think she says cape verdian every other word

    Beautiful
The story is told so well, there’s a lot I didn’t know about Pastor Grace. I’m glad they took the time to shed light on his life and journey. Not to mention the music is amazing! Love it!

    Very Interesting
I remember hearing about Daddy Grace as a child growing up in Washington, DC and all that I heard scared me. Then as an adult another scary story that happened to the person sharing her encounter. This podcast has done him justice to get the whole picture of the human being. The history of Cape Verde was really interesting. I once worked with a woman with roots there her grandfather’s surname was Teixeria. Really appreciate all the research that went into this content

Interesting story but so far very repetitive as well about 3-4 episodes in and haven’t really gotten to far in the story yet

    Alluring
A mysterious tale of a old character who isn’t known as well know as he should be. Thrilling and excited to see the connection through out this story.

    Captivating
I’m intrigued to hear more because I grew up right across the street from the United House of Prayer. I grew up eating their plates of food on Saturdays. I can remember going to get food with my brother or sister in the basement of the church to order food. I was so young because I could not even see over the counter. I did not know Sweet Daddy Grace was Cape Verdean until I was in high school. We use heat stories about his long finger nails too. I attended one service with a friend in my twenties and got scolded by the women all in white because we had on pants. Then when I moved to Georgia and I lived right around the corner from another United House of Prayer.
