The best current affairs and feature interview show about Taiwan that’s produced in Taiwan in English. Ms. Liu, the host, is a great interviewer who doesn’t let her guests lose the audience with jargon or unexplained context. She is always on the look out for her listeners. She’s got a pleasing voice, too, that’s fit to narrate audio books! Commonwealth Mag is also a great public service to people interested in Taiwan who can’t read or speak Mandarin or other Taiwanese languages.

This podcast is a rare gem providing deep coverage of domestic Taiwanese issues in English. A must for anyone wanting to get a sense of current affairs and the relevant actors in Taiwan.

As a Taiwanese American, this episode has easily become my favorite to showcase the bridge between Taiwan's story and its relation to the rest of the world. Conversations are quick, easy to listen to and straight to the point. Looking forward to more episodes!
