    Finding Your True North
I was glad to see Matt Bloom on this podcast because I have followed Matt on Instagram for years and he’s always been a phenomenal photographer, a great trip leader, a supportive partner as with his boyfriend, and always somebody that seems to be living his true, authentic self in the environment that he has found that re-energize him spiritually emotionally and physically. For folks listening to the podcast, may have gotten a sense of that. His sharing about the trips he has done on his own or in leading groups, you can really tell that he knows his stuff, that he cares about the environment and the groups he works with, and he loves the outdoors. He is also a pretty cool role model too.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!
As an out marine biologist and environmental scientist working for the government, I was always curious if I was a minority in that aspect or if it was just because of my area. I’ve been searching for a podcast that combined my interest in outdoors with my lgbtq+ identity. I’ve never found one that wasn’t more focused on gay culture in general or politics. I’m pretty excited about this one after hearing the first episode! Looking forward to more :)
