For The Love Of Rugby

England's most capped men love rugby. Ben Youngs is a scrum-half so he’s spent most of his 127 games chatting away to team-mates, opposition and referees. His mate Dan Cole is still in the England squad, and has cult hero status thanks to his no-nonsense approach to most of life’s events. They’ve spent 20 years together at Leicester Tigers, toured together for the British and Irish Lions, and now podcast together every week. They'll bring you their ultimate guide to rugby's biggest games, give you a behind the scenes tour of Twickenham, and tell you what really happens inside an England camp. They’ll also have guests, and they will be some of the biggest names in rugby.

Calm wisdom mixed with a bit if scrumhalf zip
Coley is simply awesome… calm collected insightful on the frontline, not shying away from anything, plus the benefit of in camp insight. Exactly the doctor ordered in a world of instant reaction, hyperbole, and everyone an armchair expert. And Ben’s rapid fire explanations highly needed, even if have to push the repeat button to follow at times. I feel its the best rugby pod at moment.

    Posh Musings
Promising pod undermined by the fact it’s dominated by the posh clique mentality at the heart of England rugby’s old guard. I like the tactical and process insight. The honesty was refreshing, but Youngs parked that to whitewash Jones’ abuse of his teammates. It reeked of equivocation and cowardice.

    Brilliant Podcast
Dan and Ben are excellent hosts whose knowledge and passion for Rugby are apparent. Learned a lot about the sport via this podcast and I love to hear about the behind the scenes goings on that otherwise would have no real way of knowing. Great show even for those who may not know Rugby well.

Great insight with two greats of the sport
As a rugby coach and player in the USA (from Cornwall though, it is great to hear the different experiences of the professional side of the game. It is a breath of fresh air. Both Ben and Dan have incredible stories that I’m sure can be told for so many episodes! A question I have… apart from the head coach, who would you say is the most important member of background staff in the Tigers, England and Lions Camps? Who do you look back on and think they made a real difference to the team and to you personally? Would be more than happy to take some kit off your hands, both personally and for my Augusta Furies women’s team I coach in GA. They are having their 25th anniversary weekend in September and are looking for items for their silent auction at the dinner. Money made will go back into the club and the Furies’ tour to the women’s rugby World Cup 2025 in England. (Will message on socials too) Many thanks Matt

    My new favorite podcast!!
Thank you both for creating this podcast. I’ve been a fan of the Colar Bear and his time on Joe Marler’s “cauliflower club”, it’s great to get to know Ben better. The combination of your rugby knowledge, experience, and chemistry together makes this a winner!! Question: Being from the states, would either of you consider playing in our young Major League Rugby for a new experience? I’d love to kit trade, I’m @jpalov34 and would rep a Colar Bear kit proudly here in Denver, Colorado!! Cheers!

Rugby WAG who found podcast before her rugby player husband did 😊
As the wife of former rugby player for Sale Sharks and England under 16’s/18’s, I love the fact that I found this podcast before he did and got to tell him to start listening to it. Can’t wait for Six Nations. Best of luck!
