Typically this show is great, but I was disappointed to realize the 5-year anniversary episodes were in the neighborhood of 24 minutes long. Why is that the case? You ladies have SO much material and I was really looking forward to a trip down memory lane? Did someone not have time to produce or edit? Each of these episodes should have been at least 90 minutes.

The only podcast that makes me laugh at the most inopportune moments but you love them for it. Thank you ladies!

i try to get into more podcasts but they never hit like this one, the energy is unmatched and their laughs are contagious absolutely love this podcast.

While I do throughly enjoy this podcast and both ladies, I can’t help but notice how often Candice will cut Sarel off and would take over the conversation. Again I LOVE this podcast and enjoy both of you ladies, but it would be nice for Sarel to freely talk without being interrupted.

I was excited for the season 5 premiere, but I was so disappointed to hear you two tear down one woman to raise another up. I actually had to turn off the podcast, it was so disappointing. That is such a toxic mentality, and it’s COMPLETELY unnecessary to discredit the successes of one woman to defend another, especially when they publicly support each other. Do better.

Before the pandemic, I used to listen to podcasts all the time on my commute to school, and then we went online, and I stopped. I was randomly trying to get back into it, and Closet Confessions was randomly recommended on Apple Podcast. I knew Sarel from TikTok so I was pleasantly surprised to see she had this podcast. My Pisces sisters hit every single time. I feel seen and heard in every aspect. I binged this like crazy, and so few podcasts have the right amount of messiness, community, pop culture, and real-world, concrete advice. Podcasts that read dilemmas tend to prioritize the jokes over the quality of content. Sarel and Candice have a refreshing authenticity—two successful Black women who seem to take pride in their work and the community they’ve created. I do wish they had a Patreon. I want to talk to people about my favorite podcast!

I came across a video on tik tok of you two and instantly fell in love. I finally had a moment to listen to the podcast and listened to 2024 discipline epi and…. It was everything I needed and more to start the year. Just perfect. I was hysterically laughing and also ran to get a pen to take notes. SO good ladies. You have a new forever listener and fan. I can’t wait to see all you both accomplish!!!

I have only listened halfway through the most recent episode and I love it already! The hosts clearly enjoy their time together and it has feel-good, empowering content that doesn’t feel too preachy. I wish I would’ve had this podcast when I was in my early-20’s; I’m sure I would’ve stepped into my power much, much sooner than I did. Better late than never, though. 👊🏼
