These fellas are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining about everyone’s favorite PNW baseball team.

Lyle and TJ do an amazing job covering the Mariners and the perspective of us true to the blue fans. Thanks for covering and fun and difficult topics!

These guys are the best in the business. Unmatched in knowledge and passion. Think Brock and Salk, but younger and better. A must listen for any Mariner fan.

I really like Lyle and TJ and their passion for baseball and the mariners. My only criticism is they can be a little whiny and wallow in negativity. I get it with this ownership group and bad luck of this franchise but if I wanted a lot of airing of grievances that’s what twitter and comment sections are for. A little more positivity guys!

Finally a voice for the frustration that is being a Mariners fan. Ownership and management rely too much on blind loyalty of their fan base and don’t make the decisions that lead to real winning. Thank you for speaking truth.

I first discovered TJ and Lyle when they filled in for the Brock and Salk show. As a long time sports radio listener, I was in pure shock how fresh, entertaining, and informative they were. I was super happy to find out they had this podcast where I not only could be entertained with their passion for our Mariners, but learn about baseball and potential prospects etc. Listen to this podcast if you love the mariners. Side note: Lyle also joining the Brock and Salk show permanently has been just awesome. You are doing a great job!!!

I enjoy listening to this podcast for the insights on different aspects of the team, whether they are talking about players or a potential trade. I love the clever ‘Russell Wilson umpire of the week’ segment and the small personal sharing of ‘speak your mind’. Keep it up guys, love listening to you!

I have never listened to the podcast but I do listen to Brock and Salk and I think that they are jerks to Lyle and I think you deserve to have a better rating then they do mainly because you have ended Ranked. But you still gotta step it up on mean tweets.

I used to be an avid listener to that other daily Mariners podcast, but due to one of the hosts always being so negative and demeaning along with being so anti Trevor Bauer who was never found guilty of anything, I had to look for a new Mariners Podcast. MarineLayer has become that podcast and I absolutely love the energy of these hosts. It’s refreshing that they can say negative things about the team and not do it in some doom and gloom monotone and go off on some tangent rant. Thank you for the hard work guys!

I listen to a lot of M’s content but these guys are probably my favorites. Good pacing, content, commentary, great overall work. Excited to keep listening to their stuff!

I started listening to these guys at about episode 90 for my off season Mariners fix. It’s refreshing to listen to hosts who listen and respect each other. They do their research and bring in good guests too. I’m ready for the season to start and hopefully we have plenty of wins to talk about. Thanks TJ and Lyle. Big fan.

Have listened to this podcast for several months now. The two hosts are informative, well spoken, insightful, knowledgeable, and clearly exude a love for the Mariners. I’m always excited to see a new episode pop into my feed twice a week. They do tend to wander off in various non-baseball related directions in the later parts of each episode which I usually just fast forward through. Only minor complaint I have is their language at times, but I will have to adjust as they stated they swear in order to be “genuine”.

I listen to a few M’s Podcasts but I like this one the best IMHO. Great Job TJ & Lyle!! Go M’s!!

Been listening more and more to podcast on my hour commute home from work. Loved this one, guys are an easy listen with tons of info and insight. Being on East Coast, I’m starving for Mariner info, I have to look no further. These guys get it. Keep up the good work. Coach Pep
