    Amazing and important podcast
This is a great podcast. Standford manges to make what could be a dry topic super intersting, informative and easy to listen to., And more importantly, this is an important topic and his great interviews really bring out the science and history as well as the human element in this sometimes very difficult science of river and sedimentation. Highly recommend to anyone with an interst in tis topic. Sounds like it miught be boring but its not. I wish the Corps would do podcasts like this on their other topics.

    The best river mechanics podcast!
So much wisdom and insight that is not always openly available. For me, these podcasts provide new perspectives and makes me ask more informed and important questions. As a junior scientist, I am thankful for these podcasts. Stanford, great job! You set the stage by asking good, meaningful questions that you are able to eloquently sum and explain. I’m looking forward to a podcast with you as the interviewee!
