Texas BoymomLoving this!I’m so thankful to have found this podcast. I’ve been wanting to learn more of the Bible. I’ve been a Christian my entire life, but I’ve been lazy about diving into the Bible; and my lack of Biblical knowledge is embarrassing at this point in my life. I realize he isn’t reading the Bible word for word, but he does a great job of preaching it. I can literally picture every story in my head as if I’m watching a movie. This podcast is just such a great way to learn (or re-learn) the stories in the Bible whether you’re a new believer or a lifelong believer. It’s more like an overview of the Bible in a year. Regardless, we’re still learning the Bible! Also, I’ve seen some reviews mention the “inappropriate” ads. I don’t think the podcast has anything to do with the ads. Those are set by Apple (or wherever you listen). Or maybe based on your algorithm. The ads I hear are from local radio stations, for things like Uber Eats. But honestly, I skip through the ads anyway, so it’s no harm no foul.

charmwxlEasy to understandI decided to listen to this podcast many years ago when I accidentally touched the button. So eager to know more about God, and to study his words, I continue to listen. The more I listen, the more it feels my heart this preacher made things come to life. Versus me reading the chapter he breaks it down in a way that even a child could understand. If you need to know more about God and you need to get closer to God, listen to his podcast.

KristymfNot the actual bible passagesYou immediately lost me when I realized what “inspired by the Bible meant”. Listening to the first show, I was wondering what bible translation you were reading from because there were lots dramatizations and extra flares that are not in any bible I’ve ever read. Why would you not just read the actual bible passage? The point of this is to actually read the Bible and then get some help to understand its meaning and significance. Bible in a year with Father Mike Schmitz is much better.

maci7Truly blessed to have come across this app!I have tried a lot of apps to learn the Bible and dig deep and this is truly the number one app I would refer to anybody who is trying to learn more of a scripture and stories, and grow in their faith. It’s a life-changing app easy to understand, and an overall true blessing. I wish I could have a PDF format of these teachings/readings so I can do as a Bible Study.

BrianVintageToo much fluffIn a 20 min program it’s basically 5-7 min of dramatic story with no actual biblical text rest is ads and explanation of story which is a waste. Better to put a sermon on than listen.

KiliGirl'10AdsI understand that you might need sponsors to help support the podcast but wow I’m listening and then bam, 3-5 ads come on . Totally takes my mind away from the Bible. I had just done the whole Bible in a year this last year, I start every morning with it, they did not have a single ad all year, so I wanted to try a different person and their interpretation. There’s just some instances where you don’t take sponsors, and listening to the Bible is one as you would never think of someone jumping in with an ad when you’re at Church!

mulhenryI found my motivation on this app.I caught my wife twice cheating with her church members. First one was back in 2019 with the usher, second one happened last month with a deacon in the same church. I have been depressed and felt totally lost, but with the help of the daily devotion from this app I’m gradually finding myself again. I don know how long it will take but I will get there by the help of the Lord Jesus Christ and all the preachers on this platform, may God bless you all and may God forgive my wife.

Because that’s how good it is! I love how it comes to life. It helps me to relate and understand it even better. Also i see how imperfect they were, so that really helps me to realize, that even back in the Bible days, they were very much like us, and God showed mercy towards them. NRGMAN!!!Amen!I am humbled ,blessed and excited that we have a savior! I suffered for so long with addiction, low self worth and just pain of not feeling good enough . These stories and Pastor Graham’s lessons have helped my family, my relationship with my wife and gives us and understanding of what the Bible is. It’s not just rules and quotes. I see my life in the stories. My wickedness and shame is not different than those that have fallen short. God was with them EVERY TIME! So I know and believe there is salvation for me .
