    Had great potential
Was a really great storyline up until episode 6. Then the storyline derailed. Why ruin what you had going well?

    Would definitely listen again!
This was an amazing podcast! Had me on the edge of my seat the entire entire time, great story, great ending. The only sad part is there isn’t a season two!😭Will there be?🧐

    Had promise
This had the making for a really great paranormal podcast but somehow got derailed into social Justice issues and police hating. It took away from the story and resulted in nothing so why.

    Staged?
I don’t understand, is it supposed to seem so staged? I thought it was like a docuseries but people seem to be acting (poorly) in these interviews

    Entertaining but Two Corrections
The main character Finn is not an investigator or even a decent friend. His cluelessness is distracting at times but the plot’s entertaining. It’s worth a listen.

    Pretty good but
Get rid of amari.. he takes away from the story too much. Too much of a wild card

    entertaining…
I found this podcast because I was searching for a different show. Good writing and pretty good acting. Great if you’re driving or walking.

    Maybe somewhat interesting, but…
This seemed like it could be a somewhat interesting podcast, but I couldn’t get over the narrator’s monotone voice. The story also lacks originality from the start… it’s pretty much an audio-devoid mashup between ‘Old Gods of Appalachia’ and ‘Bridgewater’. It seems like the writer did zero research on WV’s regional dialect and lingo, as well, which creates a painfully obvious mismatch between the story’s setting and characters. Next.

    BRAVO!
Finally a podcast that isn’t cowtowing to Realm. An independent podcast, let’s help these folks stay independent. BRAVO BRAVO, finally a well done, fantastically superbly written podcast, well done an excellent well written and great voice acting, you’ve outdone yourselfs! Well worth the kickstarter investment, to 1. Keep them independent, and 2. Out of the reach of Realm. I’ve lost $$$$ supporting loser podcasts that have promised podcasts, and disappeared, but definitely feel differently about this winner!!!!!!! 🤣

    Great show!
This show keeps me wanting more. The story line is easy and interesting to listen to and the actors are really really great! If you’re afraid it’s “too scary” to listen to, it’s really not, it has some small creepy parts but nothing overall too scary. I love listening to this show every Monday. Highly recommend listening!! Can’t wait for season 2!

    Spare me the social agenda
Thought this would be an interesting story until I had the social justice and anti-police rhetoric shoved in my face to include the subplots. Can’t imagine it wasn’t deliberate to have the story take place in WV to disparage a certain demographic. Waste of my time.

    Just what you’re looking for!
Likable characters, interesting mysteries, compelling story, and just enough scares to keep you coming back for more.

LOVING THIS PODCAST! Make a movie already
This is such an interesting story. I feel like a lot of crimes and corruption go unreported in small towns, and swept under the rug. Especially as time goes on, residents go on with their lives never discussing the past events that took place or any corruption they know of, out of fear. There is something unorthodox and illegal going on in this small town. I would love to see this turned into a full feature film with the amazing characters, directors, and cast members. This is an intriguing and interesting story that needs to be told and shared with everyone. I am looking forward to the next chapter of Strange Trails hoping to see this on the big screen. So many of the stories need to be told, and truths need to be unveiled. There seem to be MANY small-town crimes and underground organized corruption that may never be revealed. Excellent work Colton….

Episode 6 took a harsh turn
You guys had a great idea for a story, then on episode 6 you had to play into all of the worlds race bating. Turns out the writers of this show are racist towards white people and show a strong dislike for police. You lost this listener

It’s well done and produced but…
….I’ve got no clue what’s actually going on.

    This is really good!
I love this podcast so far. Great acting and writing. The story is scary and the feeling of dread is strong. If you like a mystery/supernatural/serial killer type drama, then you’ll enjoy this a lot.
