An unmatched artist, activist and an incredible singer songwriter. No one can compare to bjork and her raw music, I can listen to her talk all day everyday. Her music is inspiring and one of a kind. A true visionary artist and one of the best in the last century.

This makes me soooooo happy its such a wonderful podcast! I am super hopeful that there will be a second season and wishful thinking: i hope there are multiple episodes about dancer in the dark!! 💚🦋💗 i also hope she goes more into her fashion and makeup artistry/inspirations

I’ll go ahead and admit—I’ve tried quite a few times to get into Bjork’s catalog because of her reputation as an artist, her close association with other acts I adore, and a desire to expand my tastes. I hadn’t been grabbed by what I listened to, but thru this Podcast I have found a way in. What a world we live in.

The word ‘artist’ gets thrown around a lot to describe singers, but watching and hearing her over the years has been one of the defining artistic throughlines in my life. Björk is one of the few performers on the international stage who is truly an artist. Listening to this series of podcasts has only deepened my appreciation of her sound and music. So much love. Thank you for this.

This is just incredible. There are many many moments in this podcast that bring you back to your own personal growth and do it through Björk’s music. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this podcast is.

I have been a long time fan of Björk! I love hearing all of in depth thoughts and creative insights that went into each album. What she was going through during the time, and how beautifully it all came together. I could listen to her talk for days and days!! Thank you for putting this out!!! I absolutely love it!

Björk has long been an exciting and extremely talented musician who I have loved entirely. But it wasn’t until I listened to this podcast, where she carefully and passionately explains her work in great detail, that I realized I only knew a fraction of her genius. This podcast is such a delight, I have listened to all of the episodes more than a few times, I just can’t get enough. By far, this is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to and is one that I will listen to again and again.

I binged this show in one workday, I’m not even a huge Björk fan, but it was really interesting hearing her explain her artistic process. She is very open and thoughtful, and I enjoyed the show’s documentary style. Great for fans of Song Exploder.

As a millennial woman whose mom was a fan, I’ve literally been listening to Bjork my entire life. To hear the history of these albums, and Bjork’s journey as an artist and a human to give them context, has been a gift. To hear her describe the themes of nature, rural/urban introvert/extrovert duality, and the feminist lens of her career has made me realize that so much of what I feel when I listen to her music is right and true. Bjork is a once in a lifetime artist- there’s no one like her. What a joy to hear her discuss her work in this format. Thank you to everyone involved!

wow this is just a joy to listen to. bjork makes some of my all time favorite music and her mind is so fascinating to me. hearing her talk about and analyze her work process puts such a smile on my face. and the way the music from the albums weaves through the episodes is OUTSTANDING can't wait for the rest of these episodes

I think people severely underestimate Björk's impact on music, she completely changed what the western point of view on pop music and just music in general was. She made it acceptable to produce and release avant-guard electronica into the mainstream. Truly an icon and game changer.

Each one made such an impact on my life and inspired me as an artist in so many ways. To hear her speak about her inspirations, thoughts and emotions for each album is everything I could ever want or need. She is even more inspiring than I imagined.
