ShumaiiLove these 3!I am an avid Hoya collector but it’s such a niche interest that I don’t have any local Hoya friends. My friends will listen and tolerate me going on and on about my love for Hoya when I am drinking. But it would be so amazing if they had real interest! So, I really adore that these 3 have found each other and forged such a beautiful friendship. The dynamic is tight- their personalities each really bring something unique to the table. And they are knowledgeable with a lot of experience to share. Online people often just repeat what other people have said when it comes to plant care. But these guys actually speak from experience. They laugh a lot- like a Howard Stern show in the 90’s amount of laughter. Which is lovely, and sometimes contagious. But when I’m not in a fantastic mood and I just want to indulge in some Hoya content, the overjoyed cracking up they do can be kind of cloying. But I can be kind of a curmudgeon at times, so don’t let that stop you from checking out this wonderful podcast. One thing I feel compelled to add. Their laughter often leads to loud wheezing- I’m wondering if when they wheeze, maybe they could move away from the mic? It is loud and the sound makes my eyes water. 😅😭

Not Falling UpIt’s a super fun podcastI think this a really fun and humorous podcast. I quite enjoy it. It has that friends talking about Hoya vibe. Good dynamics between them. Not super educational but you will pick up some things. I’d like to say Jessi is really the best part of the show. I could legitimately listen to Jessi talk about her day for fun. She is a hoot.

Kriskae43Newer Hoya mom,HOYA I love this podcast! You 3 are so real and knowledgeable which I need so much because I’m a newer Hoya mom with at last count was 130! Hopefully you can keep putting out these episodes so I can keep listening! Thank you so much! Kris Thompson from Wisconsin!

julesss0629These guys are great!!!I seriously love this podcast. I really appreciate that they give sooo much good information pertaining to hoyas, and that they get a lot of their facts and news from articles and organizations like the Swedish Hoya Society. It’s a very informative podcast, and it’s also really fun to listen to. You can tell these friends truly enjoy each other’s company, and the laughter outbursts are my favorite parts! It makes my heart happy to hear people talking about something they’re passionate about, and having a great time while doing it! Thank you guys for this podcast!!

Seth15994267I love these nerds!I’m learning so much about Hoyas with this funny, wholesome crew. Thank you all for giving me the chance to deep dive on these lovely plants!
-
AnhbvdjLove the subject, but…It’s seriously the best content regarding Hoyas but I can’t do the screaming and super loud laughter any more. I don’t want to keep adjusting my volume while listening. The screams also make it hard to listen to in a office setting.
-
SEA girl 8Really informativeI’m really enjoying this podcast. I’m learning a lot and I appreciate how they each have a different care/routine style to growing Hoya. Fun, positive, and a welcomed break from the usual crime shows. I literally binged listened to all the episodes in 1 week. The news segment has been a nice add. One downside is that I want to buy a new Hoya after every episode. Love them!

Thanks so much for the information on flat mites; my Hoyas are finally starting to grow again. I didn’t realize I even had an issue. BirheadOne of my top 3 fav podcasts!I have learned so much from Adam, Lydia, and Jessi! Their style makes me feel like we’re all just hanging out together talking about hoya. I enjoy hearing all three different approaches when it comes to plant care, and deciding which method I’ll try. I really trust their suggestions and have had great success so far by following their recommendations. I get so excited when a new episode comes out because I know I’m going to thoroughly enjoy every second of it!

R.ColettekBuilding the Hoya communityIt’s hard to write a cohesive review, or even start in one place. Anyone who knows me knows I love Hoya and I love Hoya *people* (I’m talking about Rodney, my UPS carrier, my mom, etc 😂..). I will start with the fact that for years I would pull up my podcast app and search the term ‘Hoya’ and come up short (you know.. a single episode here and there on a generic plant podcast). I wasn’t looking for a podcast as intense about Hoya info as I am, just to listen to people who also love Hoyas and the same community that I love.. talking about it all. And here they are! Thanks for being kind, down to earth, approachable. For also recognizing that Ara is the sweetest and April is a gem and Ted Green is one of the true forefathers of our community.. and Adam, thank you for helping me out with my research ❤️. I genuinely adore just listening to the friendship vibe you guys have going on and appreciate your willingness to share that out. (If you wanna give some sigillatis T.Green a try again, I’ll tell you my secret to putting it on autopilot in any climate, promise).

Dyl1233Love this, but shorter plsI really like this podcast, but hoping it could be shorter (~30mins), with more compact contents.
