lifeisgood001Why not weekly? The Foreign Affairs interview is excellent and one of the rare global and incisive podcasts available on intl affairs. A weekly rather than biweekly podcast would be appreciated.
-
RischAndrewsIntellectually keen and incisive but organize to be easily understood by a general audienceA collection of wonderful talent, structured to be accessible to the non-expert, but curious citizen. Nowhere else is this kind of information so readily available to the general public

wlazukaFrancis FukuyamaYou need more of a political balance in the opinions of the right and left. Fukuyama is clearly biased and believes in conspiracy theories

sleeschShavit please read a book challengeThis podcast would be better served to challenge, not amplify, the assertion that collateral civilian death is an acceptable necessity and fait accompli in times of war. While the interview is disgusting, it does highlight well the reductive acceptance of an unhinged, dehumanized military and anti democratic response to terror.

Tigre467998Condoleeza Rice? Really?Explain how you allow this woman on your program or to write for your magazine after the illegal war that was waged in Iraq under her auspices? She is an illegitimate resource for that alone. This is unhinged.

BrewerNot enough criticism of the current Regime.Kind of mind blowing that there is very little criticism of the democratic regime that has been in power for 12/16 years whose foreign policy have directly resulted in the war in Ukraine and the weakness on Iran that has allowed them to fund their genocidal death cults that Isreal is currently at war with. I can’t take foreign policy “experts” that ignore the obvious massive mistakes while somehow criticizing a single administration whom had zero wars started while in power.

Jim from Silicon ValleyIf you want to know what the Establishment thinksIf you want to know what the FP Establishment thinks, this is your podcast. If you want to be in touch with reality, go somewhere else. The “experts” interviewed have the analytical abilities of middle schoolers. The latest cast featuring Corey Shockey from the AEI showed an amazing lack of analysis and depth. Not only was she wrong about almost every issue (other than the war in Gaza), she showed a scary economic illiteracy. Her big “thoughts” were aid to Ukraine helps the U.S. military industrial complex and therefore is good and US citizens should be happy to spend billions defending European countries that dislike us because they are “Allies”. Anyone who believes that Germany, Turkey, Spain and others are our allies is delusional. It was about as bad in content as a podcast can get.

Mr_Larry_QuinnExtremely PartisanThis podcast treats Democratic Party politicians as patriotic geniuses and Republicans as incompetent boobs at best. Former President Donald Trump is treated as a boogeyman despite the world operating relatively orderly under his administration as opposed to the world being on fire during the Biden-Harris Administration.

CFSnyderA great podcast for those interested in global dynamicsTerrific podcast for those that are interested in global dynamics. Knowledgeable guests, good topics, and interesting discussions combine for a thought provoking look at some of today’s world issues. A good compliment to the Foreign Affairs periodical.

Wheels1274Trump proofFirst thank you for quality content, very much enjoy the podcast. One item that bothers me, I’ve heard multiple times the term “Trump proof” a certain policy or package. If you want to Trump proof something don’t lose an election. Electing Trump is democracy working, if he’s elected it’s his call on what to do. There is a certain level of arrogance to say you need to proof something from a sitting president of the United States. Ben Rhodes is a partisan, smart guy and enjoy hearing his viewpoints, can we try someone from the other side for some balance? Thanks!!

M. CaravaggioBiasThe show selects a cadre of speakers on a narrow range in terms of political agenda and worldview. It does little to nothing to challenge speakers views or compare them to contrasting opinions. This would have been fine if the show would have worn it’s political agenda on its sleeve, but it clearly does not. Dan often congratulates his guests on the articles the wrote with the affiliate magazine, confirming his identification with their views.

This KenTune into the American Foreign Policy CouncilCFR represents the Davos elites leftist agenda. The American Foriegn Policy Council represents the honest American interest. I have been going through the last couple of years podcasts and they have proven far more accurate in their predictions than has CFR.

404MaconWill you also ofter a counter opinion???Good to hear and listen to the liberal view of the previous, current, and future situation in Israel. Will you know provide the same appraisals of previous, current and future perspective of the current government?? This is balance is something any series journalistic organization, of the past, would offer its readers but is seriously lacking from all quote/unquote journalism today. I challenge Foreign Affairs to do this but frankly will not hold my breathe for a more balanced presentation. Thanks Tomj

NatronIsMeanI wish they were decent.I am a foreign affairs junkie, but you have to have standards in terms of who you let write articles and invite onto your podcasts. Foreign Affairs doesn't.

Tom SofosMargaret MacShe was your best interview. I’m buying her books Thanks

Joshua XiBonny Lin is a CCP AssetWay to go, platforming her. Granted, she’s everywhere mouthing Xi’s talking points to the West. I would have expected FA to be more discerning.

roamingbeemerMax BootExcellent, it is unfortunate very few people have respect when someone admits an error. It is my foundation of living that the more someone knows the more they know how little they actually know. I believe it is called the Dunning Kruger effect. Of course I am also guilty at times!
-

ImediatecareFantasticMy only issue with this podcast is that I discovered it too early and I’m already finished with the backlog; have been flying through the episodes and have enjoyed every one. Great interviewing, engaging and knowledgeable guests.

SSmith1985Great New PodcastI look forward to now hearing Foreign Affairs great strategic and analytical content in this new podcast format. As a suggestion for a future episode, I would be interested in hearing if my former professor from GW, David Shambaugh, still believes his 2015 prediction that the CCP is on the decline and headed to collapse.
