I am so happy every week when this show is available on my podcasts. Jim and Dar are hysterical together as they dive into Cooky current events. The people leaving bad reviews are just absurd. Keep up the great work Jim and Dar.

Ugh! Why Jim would jump the shark by hiring his shrill, mom-voiced, paranormal-know-nothing wife (after previous failed shows with her), I have no idea. She is an utter annoyance. All they seem to do is scroll the Apple News feed for weird articles and comment on them, which, really, ANYONE can do, and probably in a less annoying manner.

I’ve been a long time listener of Jim’s podcasts and I like this format that brings the news stories from the fringes of science and the paranormal to a weekly digest. Best part is the energy and the different perspective Dar brings to the show. I love her presence and it’s nice to get a different take from someone not as steeped in the subject but has an open mind. The energy between Jim and Dar is great. You can hear the years of love and support and most of all the deep friendship they have come through in the fun and lively banter. Great job on making the old new again.

I enjoy all of Jim Harold’s podcasts but I laugh and smile the most with this one! :) Dar you are so genuine and relatable! :) I often nod along and cheer, “Yes Dar!!!” Haha this is my favorite way to get paranormal news and the mutual respect and connection Jim and Dar have is so apparent and sweet! Can’t help but root for you all! As for the naysayers- refer to quote: “You can be the sweetest, juiciest peach in the world….but there will always be people that don’t like peaches!” I say bring on the peaches! I used to love all things Jim Harold until they showed they true selves.I know they don’t like to talk about politics no issue with that at all.Politics did come up with Dar and she said she doesn’t know how you could stop talking to someone who voted differently than you.Simple answer Dar you aren’t nearly as marginalized and don’t have to worry about your rights being taken away because of this.I stopped talking to my father because he voted for Trump and I’m gay, happily married with two beautiful babies.He threw away our relationship, he did not me because he did vote for a bigot, who has used my community as political pawns.Now tell me you don’t understand why I would cut him off.Its me, my family, my friends, my community members on the line trying to hold back the pain that will be caused to our community.I can see why you don’t like to talk about politics, because you either voted just like my dad or you don’t truly know people like me.Sure I’m woke, woke enough to see that Trump is all of the bad in the world, and we just let him in the door of the most important position in our country.Better to have my eyes open to the truth, and to see the folks holding the knives to our backs then to be asleep as our country crashes into disparity.

Aggressive lecturing!!, I use to love this podcast!! Recently it feels like they are afraid to say anything without “unsaying” it in the next sentence. They must have gotten A LOT of woke reviews and as a result they are so afraid of offending anyone they don’t say anything, without apologizing or over explaining🤦🏻‍♀️ still giving it a 3 hoping it backs to a 5 SOON.

I am a big fan of all things Jim Harold. This show is great in reviewing the current headlines of all things paranormal. I’m giving Dar grace as she gets more confortable sharing her thoughts and opinions, (lots of ending her sentences with, “sooo yah!” or apologetic tone for offering her opinion on a story she read). She sometimes gets defensive when Jim says something she doesn’t like, but it can also be comical given they are clearly a long time married couple. I think the show is fun and the news they read is interesting. Once they get their rhythm in communicating with each other during recording, it will be even better. Keep going!

I feel like Dar is referencing god to much but other than that I really like it

This is hilarious 😂. There’s a mysterious tone to the stories. But what I like best is the back and forth between Jim & Dar! Count me in as a new Dar fan!

I’ve been listening to Jim and his several other podcasts for years and thought I would give this one a try, With no expectations. This is a different format than Jim’s other shows. Well, wow! I did not expect this to be as entertained as I was. Jim and Dar have a a wonderful rapport (as you might expect, I suppose). I don’t think my wife and I would communicate nearly as effectively or as humorously (there would certainly be more bickering). Count me as a new Dar fan!

I love hearing the strange and odd things that really happen to real life people. Truth is often stranger than fiction!!!

I like the idea of this lighthearted show, but Dar continually interrupts with unnecessary sounds, and repeating Jim’s words, etc. When it’s Dar’s turn to talk, Jim interrupts her less often, and his interruptions actually add to the conversation. Simultaneous talking can really kill a podcast. I’m gonna hang in there as long as I can, though, because I like the show otherwise.

This is a great addition to Campfire and gives me more to listen to between Campfire episodes!!

I know that the show is only as good as the calls they receive, but the new format of reading “news of the weird“ and “seasoning” with caller stories is not great. The banter during reading stories is meh. I know these are advertising vehicles, but it’s nowhere near as good deviating from caller driven.

Love the idea of this podcast. I really enjoyed the original format, but I think the new format has potential. Maybe a little more structure to the stories the hosts tell? Love Dar, she is so funny and seems really sweet. And of course, I’m big fan of Jim’s podcasts! Hope you can land on the perfect structure. It’s such a fun idea!

I love all your shows but I liked the original format with callers spilling their own stories. With the new format it seems like there’s too much banter and interruption of the conversation between the show hosts.

Little too much banter and talking over each other but I keep listening because I really want to like it. Last episode was disappointing, there was only one story and rest was just banter

I REALLY love this podcast. I’m a longtime fan of the Campfire and was hooked immediately on You Won’t Believe. I find it so relaxing to listen to - just fun, relatable, good quality entertainment. Love the stories as well as Jim and Dar’s banter. They have a great rapport that feels very natural. So glad the show is back after its brief hiatus, and hope it sticks around for the long term! Thank you for all you do, Jim and family!!
