Excellent information to help your practice!
I discovered Kelly through a continuing education seminar and her information, along with her book, has changed almost everything about how I do preschool articulation therapy! I love listening to the podcast and hearing her break down things she discusses in her book - it really helps give me new ideas for things to try to help my kiddos make their greatest gains!

    Big fan of Kelly
Kelly is that rare clinician that can distill research into actionable interventions. She’s not afraid to say what she feels needs to be said and yet she delivers her message with love and grace.

    Excellent
Kelly brings her compassion and knowledge to pediatric speech therapy. Thank you for bringing awareness to gestalt learning styles, temporal cueing as well as ADHD in SLPs. I am also an SLP with ADHD and found your podcast on this so helpful and validating. Please keep up the amazing work!

She’s done it again finding new platforms to share her knowledge and evidence based practices to engage students with Autism and Speech Sound Disorders. Task oriented movement activities are the right type of therapy to keep students engaged and focused while working on the necessary skills to improve their speech, language and communication skills. I am so excited for the following episodes! Tabatha Khoury

    Efficient Tips
In my opinion, the interesting and practical topics mentioned in this podcast is that, the most strategic way for children to succeed is to trust them and help them get to know themselves, discover their abilities and build self confidence.👌🏻

    A Passion to Learn
You can hear Kelly’s commitment to improving the lives and outcomes for children with autism spectrum disorder in every sentence. Kelly has worked with children with severe autism for many years and she has her keen observation and curiosity to bring to light the critical relationship between movement and strength issues and language skills attainment; she rejects jargon and provides suggestions for building motor skills that enable more complex behaviors. My favorite sentiment is that Learning is always active!

    The preschool SLP
I found this podcast insightful. Sometimes educators and family members expect children to sit still and listen, thinking they will learn via osmosis. The presenter emphasizes the importance of movement in the learning process,. She does not view movement as a distraction, but the key to learning. I would love to see this philosophy shared by others . It would limit the repetitive commands to sit, sigh, and roll the eyes when the child can’t sit still. Thank you for seeing the strengths of the autistic child.
