    New product category
After listening to the WWDC 2024 recap, I’m thinking Apple should create a new platform….the MacPad…basically an iPad Pro device running macOS instead…what do you think?

    Good addition to website!
Like many, I enjoy updating myself on Macrumors.com as a means of entertainment and tech news. I find the podcast a nice addition to the site, and have enjoyed getting to know the personalities on the show. A request to do more “AMA” style questions!

Good show ruined by bad production
The show is almost unlistenable due to the unequal volume levels between the hosts.

    Pretty Scummy Show
I like Hartley Charlton but Dan Barbera is pretty annoying and basically ruins the show. My major complaint is that they project themselves as representing most Apple customers when in fact their comments are often uninformed and narrowly focused on just their own limited point of view - especially Barbera. I’m constantly hoping Apple will disregard what they say and as a minimum understands they don’t actually represent their customer’s point of view properly. Also, they have at least one dishonest sponsor, they surely must know they are dishonest but encourage their listeners to use them anyway. So they’re putting their financial interests above the safety of their audience. Pretty sleazy. I even commented about it and they simply deleted my post which was also pretty sleazy. Also, Barbera trying to sleazily encourage people to only leave GOOD reviews here while insinuating people who feel differently shouldn’t leave reviews at all was yet more scumminess. All in all it’s a pretty scummy show with limited value.

    Great Podcast
I love listening to all the episodes they release and they allow me to catch up on all the news on Apple but also relax.

    Should just be Hartley
This podcast could be good, but it should be hosted by Hartley alone or a better co-host. Dan is never prepared or knowledgeable about the topics which makes it a painful experience for Hartley, who feels more like a babysitter sometimes. Hartley must constantly reign in Dan to keep him on topic, correct him or derail his generally inane ramblings/"theories". Hartley is more than competent to do this alone. Co-hosting with Homer Simpson would be so tiring.

    Informative Apple podcast
Look forward to this podcast. Very informative take on the latest apple news and product related updates. This is one everyone should add to their listening rotation.

It’s always a pleasure to listen or view the show on YouTube. If you are interested in all things Apple it’s nice to have a source the takes you down that rabbit hole. You have to love Hartley and Dan is well Dan. Just kidding Dan is great also.

    Keep Up the Good Work
Entertaining podcast for those who love all things Apple. Dan & Hartley do a great job talking about what is in the news and speculating. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!

    So much potential…
I have been a visitor to the Macrumors website for years and was really looking forward to the show. I find that Dan as the host of the show has difficulty with guiding the podcast and lacks basic knowledge of the rumors that are happening week to week. But… there is an easy fix to this. Hartley should be the host, he is extremely knowledgeable and has such an in depth insight into the rumors that are occurring which is what I want out of a show. Maybe I’ll give it a go in the next few months if things change for the better.

    Absolutely Incredible!
I look forward to listening every Friday on the car ride home.

    Alright
Usually pretty good coverage of Apple-related news. Hartley has super good takes most of the time, Dan is by far the worst part with his ice cold takes and myopic ideas. Even then not too bad, I listen weekly but don’t prioritize this podcast over other Apple ones like Upgrade and ATP. Not quite as good as 9to5Mac but better than AppleInsider.

    Best Apple show and site
Highly recommend listening to this show for your Apple news and topics! They’re on top of it and always keep us in the know. Trust me… I… know.

  • BurgerEatingHamster
    Great
I don’t what y’all are all saying this is great, little bland compared to other but they get to they point and are optimistic
  • ThePie13
    Haters…
For an Apple pod, it’s incredible how much they hate on Apple products. Really annoying. Ton of better Apple pods out there. Skip this one.
  • Gern Blanston
Like the show, but it’s fatiguing
I want to enjoy the show, but some of the hosts ending almost every sentence with a rising inflection and peppering every sentence with “like” makes it hard to enjoy.
  • soriaj
    Plastic phone
Thank god you don’t work for Apple
  • Bannerr27
    Random
I bet I have a security issue with Apple that not many (if any) know about. One, all of my Apple products are hacked from my iPhone (13 pro max) Apple Watch 6, 2021 MacBook mini 512gb, and my iPAd 5… they are hacked across all attached through everything attached to my iCloud. If I don’t put on screen time on and block my passcode from being changed, it will be changed without me knowing. Then I’ll eventually be locked out. Another time, I went into the Apple Store (AFtER this had happened to me to see if I could do anything, someone came up to me in the store with something that resembled an iPad and scanned my scan code and was able to reset my iPhone completely just by scanning it.

I can relate to this ppdcast so much
Love that I get to hear you behind the scenes and perspnal throughys on apple/tech products. I am very much a thinking in the ways you giys are and can relate. Love that people agree with me on apple rumors and I’m not just loosing my mind talking to myself because no one wants to talk apple Rumors/news with me.
  • itpro82
    Love it
I just start to follow the show a few weeks ago now every week I listen to it. I JUST LOVE IT !!

    Interview with Founder
Great episode! I recently started listening to this podcast and hadn’t connected it to Mac Rumors website until this episode with the founder. I have always based my Apple purchases on Mac Rumors website. Great website and great podcast! Keep up the good work!
  • @Akiratech
    What was that last episode!
Dropped a rating for the last episode (Apple Car) if you are going to talk about cars, especially electric ones have an expert (a real one). I went from laughing at incompetence to yelling at my phone on the bad advice and misinformation given. First, this is a Apple product based podcast, I don’t expect fanboys to run it but the negativity towards Apple, Tesla, Google and other companies that pushing tech to the masses is corny. I went from telling coworkers and friends in tech to listen podcast to telling them look elsewhere. How this podcast is born out of this amazing website that I’ve used for years is confusing.
  • BOARDUMB
BY FAR the best Apple and tech podcast
And BY FAR the most attractive podcast hosts in the entire industry. Meow!
  • julianna banana
    Love this podcast!
I don't have time to keep up with the latest tech news on a daily basis so I catch up by listening to The MacRumors Show every week. The podcast is informative, engaging, and fun because Dan and Hartley are so in tune with the Apple rumor ecosystem, plus there are tons of high-profile guests. It's definitely one of the best tech podcasts out there.
  • ThomasEEE
    Best Apple podcast out there
Dan and Hartley are a joy to listen to. They’ve really found a good groove with insightful commentary and a good mix of topics. They regularly bring on great guests to share unique perspectives and information, which helps keep things fresh from week to week. I haven’t missed an episode yet!
  • MitchOfGilead
    Best Apple Podcast
    Informative and fun Apple-focused podcast.

    Perfectly informative precise interest information
Dan and Hartley simply do an amazing job keeping everything relative and dead-on. Extreme fan.

    constant complaining
I used to enjoy listening to this show now all they do is complain about everything and say if Apple only did things the way they like. it would be great. Apple has more than just you guys to hear from. Last i heard Apple had somewhere around 1.2 billion IOS/iPad Os devices in use. Please stop complaining so much.
  • Roscoe Van Damme
    Mind Numbing
This podcast is a constant stream of looking for reasons to have a whine. An episode I’m listening to right now, the host is complaining about the MacOS Mail app and he says, “I don’t know what I would change (about it), I just don’t like it”. You’re just complaining for the sake of complaining. He has the same issue about what he doesn’t like about it; “I don’t know if I like it or not”. They need to throw out a podcast, so they just sit there and ramble on without any clues or ideas of what they’re on about because they don’t know what they like or don’t like, they just want things changed for the sake of being changed. Occasionally, they will have an episode that is insightful and thoughtful. But they are few and far between. They are the quintessential consumer who’s solely responsible for us being unable to have nice things. “I don’t know what I want, but no matter what it is, it’s wrong! Fix it! How? I don’t know, just do it!”.

This my favorite podcast. This is my go-to when I need to catch up on Apple tech. Keep up the great work guys.

    My go to Apple Podcast!
I love this podcast! Fantastic discussions and excellent hosts. Highly recommend for any Apple fan!
  • Seth (WiiDSmoker)
    Great show!!
    Enjoying it

    Love MR but come on
I’m not saying this to be mean but Dan is the worst host I’ve heard on any podcast! Seriously. He frequently goes off on weird tangents, doesn’t seem to know anything on the topic that’s being discussed, etc. I feel bad for Hartley who is the opposite-very prepared, well informed and stays on topic. Just replace Dan
  • rappr
    Skip this one
Really really whiny podcast. Not even remotely entertaining to listen to. The one episode I listened to will be my last.
  • TheTicIsTickedOff
doesn’t know how to take off an apple watch band
Only an idt would not know how to remove an apple watch band… I’ll bet you 1mil dollars apple will not say USB C harms user privacy. If they were to say that, everyone would be like “what’s up with your iPads and MacBooks then Apple?” Yo, that guy needs to be fired now 👎🏼
  • cozziekitty
    Long but good
I personally enjoy listening while doing something. I love hearing about apple leaks and products.
  • Carmen San Diego Zoo
    Get to the point
Good show when you get to it. I don’t need a 2-minute intro bit about your guest being late. Shut up and play the hits.
  • Ed Sabis
Could you please turn Sami’ volume up?
Enjoy the show. Sometimes a little too long. Special request, Would you please turn Sami’s volume up? Remember many of us are out walking or running while listening. Dan’s volume is perfect Hartley could be a little louder. Remember, it is easy to turn down your volume, but to hear Sami, my volume is all the way up. When cars/trucks go by, Sami disappears. Thanks for listening.
  • ThatLegitATrain
    Not mixed loud enough.
So far I’ve loved listening to this podcast but I can’t listen to it at work where I listen to podcasts the most due to it being too quiet and hard to hear. Fix that and it’ll be 5 stars for sure

    Daily fan of website
Been a frequent reader of its website and now I get to listen to Dan Barbera and the crew on their weekly podcasts. So far so good and its a great show for Apple Fans 💻
  • Ari.Zeto
Not bad for their first episodes.
I laughed at the idea of a MacRumors podcast prior to listening to it. Why enter such an oversaturated area, especially when their competition had been doing it for so long? Turns out, I was wrong. I enjoyed their each of their episodes. Great job.
  • Jordanmocny
    Mark Gurman
Really needs to fall back when calling out people. Not professional and gives this podcast a bad look

    Looking Forward
Show seems promising - Macrumors is my go to for Apple related news. To hear it in audio format is great! Keep it up!
  • TheNewDiplomatist
    Seems Promising
Seems like a promising podcast, and it’s very interesting so far. I like the hosts, but I should point out though guys, AirTags are important because of their future integration with Apple’s AR headset, and I hope that AR will play a major part in the topics that you are focus on going forward.
