FBI undercover agent Scott Payne’s job was to infiltrate the most dangerous gangs of our times: outlaw bikers, drug cartels and the international neo-Nazi networks hellbent on inciting a race war.

He was taking down these groups from within. And Scott was good at it — people confided in him their most audacious plans for mass violence and domestic terrorism.

In the second season of White Hot Hate, host Michelle Shephard gives you an unvarnished view of a life undercover. Because after a 28-year-long career pretending to be somebody else, Agent Payne is ready to tell his side of the story. Coming March 25, 2025.

This series was produced alongside a book co-written by Scott Payne and Michelle Shephard titled Code Name: Pale Horse: How I Went Undercover to Expose America's Nazis.

It’s unfortunate, but the old man in episode 1 called it. Scott’s entrapping these young men. They are pathetic racists but they would never go this far without a boost from Scoot. Michelle is amazing!!!!

The depths Scott will go to in order to avoid conflict with the writer during the final moments of this podcast are telling. Instead of standing up for his convictions, he nervously laughs and lays down. Pathetic.

Interesting subject, terrible host.

Interesting subject to hear and learn about. Too bad it was overshadowed by the host’s left leaning talking points. In the end she of course finds a way to link Trump to white supremacy. Such nonsense. Don’t spend your money supporting such garbage “journalism”.

Good content. Incredibly bias.

The coverage of the hate groups and undercover operations themselves is top notch. However it is incredibly left bias and ends with the writer claiming Trump is the problem and insinuating that Kash Patel is also a White nationalist. Very disappointing ending to a great show.

Loved this podcast!!

Loved this podcast. Michele is such a great interviewer. Scott is a really great story teller. I felt like I was right there in the action. There is one thing…I really hope Scott has changed his opinion on our current government.

Zero cities have been “burned down” by anyone, let alone “BLM” or “antifa” despite the propaganda other reviewers are pushing. This is important reporting, and just like science - it doesn’t matter if you don’t “believe in it” it’s happening.

I Could Listen to Ms. Shephard For Hours

Amazing podcast about horrible people but I love the way it was presented. I could feel Michelle abhors the deeds but she refrains from being overly dramatic like "Oh my god!!!" statement. She just narrates and leaves the judging to the listeners.

Interesting, but irresponsible

Really interesting and revealing, but episode 2 was extremely irresponsible. The interview subject claimed to have moved on from the far right, but never showed remorse for his views, downplayed his actions, made excuses for his radicalization, and never articulated what specifically was wrong about his “former” politics other than that they were “radical”. They essentially play formed a play book for what to do if you are outed as a member of the far right to seem as innocuous as possible.

Whew! This first episode though!!

I just listened to the first episode and it was a listen! It’s sorta slow in the beginning but that’s because they had to set the story up! Keep going till the end! I’m so excited there’s a second episode already!
