Bug Bux Podcast is designed to help pest control owners start and rapidly scale their company. The hosts, Eric Bassett and Jake Claus, are experts in the pest industry, and they are committed to providing the best guests and resources to help entrepreneurs. Their goal is to help you become a bug money millionaire.  

Eric Bassett started out as a door-to-door sales representative in 2008. Then he quickly worked his way into upper management and a sales director role before joining Natura as an owner and Vice President. His areas of expertise are inside sales and customer service training, organizational leadership development, and business strategy. He's also an Associate Certified Entomologist. Jake Claus started his journey in the pest control world in 2005, selling door-to-door for brands across Idaho, California, and Texas until he and his wife, Jana, started Natura Pest Control in the Portland, Or/Vancouver, Wa area in 2013. Jake loves the science and service side of pest control, as well as developing innovative ways to grow and expand his business. Personal development and pursuing his vision for his business and family achievements are his number one endeavor. Aside from being the President and Founder of Natura Pest Control, Jake is also an Associate Certified Entomologist, Structural Pest Inspector, and holds licenses in every major category of structural pest control. Jake is also a part-time paid Firefighter/EMT with his local fire department.

Gold Mine!

I have been a part of the Bug Bux Facebook page for about a year now, I posted a couple months back asking for resources to help me get to the next level and was pointed towards this podcast. This is a literal gold mine for PCO’s at all stages of the journey upward (if growth is your thing), and I’m so thankful for this and the guys who have put so much value into a free resource for the industry. Started at episode 1 a few days ago and I’m not stopping until I’m current!

More a promotion for their business

This was a great podcast on the past, but it’s more about promoting their coaching business now. There’s even episodes where they withhold information and say you can get what you’re looking for with if you sign up. Their business course is not deep either though. Some lessons go over seven different things about leadership in only a 3 minute lesson. Little to no examples or stories.

I’m a 24 year old tech that that is way too hungry to b a tech for the rest of my life. I’m lucky enough to enjoy being in the pest control industry more than I could’ve thought. I’ve been doing a lot of research on the market growth and opportunities that the pest control market is offering and I can’t wait to expand my repertoire past just killing bugs. Good show but…

I’ve been listening to this show for about 6 months now. I’ve really enjoyed the content and guest. My only gripe is that sometimes Allen talks way more than the guest he has on. I get that it’s his podcast and he can talk as much as he wants, but if you have a interesting/cool guest on, let them talk! Sometimes they only get a few ideas out after their introduction and Allan talking the rest of the time.

Just finished listening to Ep. 22. For having two owners not knowing that techs go out and sale service surprises me since these two know who insight pest is that insight allow their techs to sale services as well for Terminix allows their license techs to sell services.. There are plenty of pest companies allow their techs sale services….
