Enjoy each show and it helps to prepare for the Uber
I started to listen the podcasts and I am hooked on that. I enjoy the unscripted of the interviews. Mike seems an underrated person from the ASP main channel and I wish we would see more Mike to host some episodes in the main channel by himself.

    Thanks for common encounters
Thanks for the show, Mike. Common encounters like these allow me to think through my plan. Mental reps as you say. Brazil.

    Down to earth
I look forward to each episode, a highlight of my week. I appreciate how you let “your Jesus flag fly”. Also the lessons and mental reps are good reminders. The after show legal run down is very informative. Keep up the good work. Thanks Voice for radio - great show, I laughed out loud but interesting how cavalier he was about the situation but I guess we all deal with it differently.

    Brandish
I generally don’t leave reviews on any podcast that I listen to. I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning. I felt like I owe you all a five star review because I am a loyal listener and I learn something new just about every episode, listening to this podcast as well as watching the YouTube channel and some of the things on the app make me more prepared for every day situations

    Great podcast
Informative and entertaining. Sometimes the guests aren’t really podcast material but they are everyday people so that’s fine. The 7/19/24 episode with the Midwest deputy sheriff was an outstanding episode. The guy was intelligent and well spoken.

    Keep coming back
*Update* August 30th Probably the most important episode to listen to, to date. And I've listen to them all. I come back every few weeks and we catch up and binge everything that's new. Honestly I really like the new separation of the Gutowsky files, I rely heavily on the titles of those episodes to see if I'd be interested in listening, sometimes I am sometimes I'm not. *small suggestion* I'd love an occasional Friday mail bag or a Q&A just with Mike, even though he says no one would stick around to listen to him talk for 45 minutes to an hour, I would. Fun stuff general questions totally up to you as per the topics, but I bet you a lot of people including me with submit questions.

Great podcast (with some constructive criticism). Special words are “hair talk” and “Boca Raton”
Mike, Your doing a great job with the ASP podcasts. I walk everyday while listening to them. They are both instructive and entertaining. Because I listen so much, I have a little constructive criticism though:Steven Gutowski’s segments are always informative, but I suggest that they could be even better if they were “tightened up”. Steven is quite smart and well-informed. However, he often makes comments that are duplicative of comments he’s already made within the same podcast. There’s no need to “cover the same ground” multiple times. Also, he could drop using the phrase “sort of” so much. That’s a common filler that many people use, but it gets a bit annoying. Finally, I’m with a lot of your other commenters in that I’d like to see you eliminate the sports and hair talk. I hope these comments are taken purely as constructive. Keep up the Five Star level work!

Best intro music in the Podcast Game
This podcast has by far the best intro and outro music of any podcast I’ve listened to. Great podcast too. I think it’s about Philadelphia sports teams, or something like that.

    Review featuring Gutowski
New listener to the podcast after finding the YouTube channel. And yes I listen all the way to the end. I am starting from the beginning and binge listening and almost done with 2022. It’s interesting to listen to past episodes and hearing the things that were happening during pandemic, the unrest and landmark Supreme Court decisions. I started watching and listening as I am recent CCW holder in CA and was seeking more information to help me in my journey. It’s great content and has completely changed my outlook on firearms ownership and the right to carry one for defensive purposes. I listen to the podcast for the “mental reps” on situations covered and to learn some painful lessons others have had so I don’t have too. Thank you for all that you and your team does. 👏🙏

Been listening for almost a year. Frankly I love the “split podcast” feature; long listens can be daunting so separating the stories from the Gudowski Files was a good move. Appreciate the insights! As a 25 year US Army Airborne Infantry Combat Veteran, I know the value of rehearsals. Not just as a team, but individually running scenarios through your mind to ingrain “If A then B” as your course of action. If you’ve thought about it, even if you haven’t actually done it, you at least know which end state you want to achieve. So keep up the good work! All The Way!

Great podcast, both educational and entertaining, Gutowski files are great being broken out into a separate episode! I emailed Mike with a question and got a quick response, that never happens!!

    Real World Experiences and Advice
Absolutely the best podcast on self defense. Real encounters are discussed by the victims and my favorite former fed. Awesome way to get good mental reps, thinking about how you’d handle a similar situation. Absolutely worth the listen!

    Show has prepared me!
Mike, you are a great interviewer. You allow your guests to tell their stories and ask smart questions. I don’t conceal carry anymore, but I do carry POM spray. I ride my bike on a trail where some homeless folks hang out from time-to-time. I feel your show has taught me to be mentally prepared and aware of my surroundings. I love all of you at ASP! Keep up the good work, friends!

    Keep it up!
Keep up the good work Mike! I love hearing and gaining knowledge from the experiences people have had in different encounters. Also glad you have the Gutowski Files to stay up to date on what’s going on in the country with the 2nd Amendment. Talking a bit about sports doesn’t bother me even though I don’t follow them and adds a bit of flavor. Love that you were able to even to tie sports into self defense with talking about stadium security last week.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR not talking sports at start of show. I had my finger on FF to zip ahead but didn't have to. You and Steve are both fantastic, and thx for sparing us that buddy sports talk going forward!!!!!!

    Awesome!
Love the show guys! I’m a really big fan of the podcast and the main channel. I also enjoy the Gutowski files at the end. Very important to always be up to date on the latest firearm related news! Thank you everyone at ASP for providing potentially life saving lessons and bringing unbiased coverage news to us all. You guys have helped me tremendously with being more aware of my surroundings everywhere I go and not be complacent.

    Best Gun Owners Content!
My husband and I are loyal ASP fans but I think Mike Williver’s podcast is, by far, my favorite content of all. I love his interviews with people who have found themselves faced with riveting, scary situations as they go about their every day lives. Mike is adept at drawing out the critical details and lessons from the encounters as well as providing colorful commentary and the experience and knowledge of a seasoned LE veteran. I only wish I didn’t have to wait a week for the next episode! Thanks Mike!

Great help for all types of self defenders
I first started watching the YouTube channel and still do, but I now have enjoyed listening to the podcast just as much if not more. I really like hearing it from the the person that went through the encounter themselves which is really cool!

    Lights
I only trust & use Surefire flashlights & Batteries for self Defense. I have a Tactician in my pocket a backup in my Bag & a Scout on my AR. I’m old school I don’t run red dots. My pistol is carried appendix & am a Auto Tech don’t trust optic there. I’m thinking about a optic on the AR. I am considering a G20 with a red dot & light for a camping gun. Chest holster. Looking to Ride Harley & Camp in Bear country. Probably don’t need it but will sleep better
