Raul is knowledgeable but he delays the pods by days or weeks as punishment for not subscribing. There are other BTC/crypto pods that provide timely information without trying to pickpocket you. I suggest that you move on.

RAL says it's about the journey. Really it's about the money. RV website members pay 700 to 7k per year. Not exactly non profit. Has a ridiculous amount ads in hi podcasts as well. 75% of it are ravings of Alcoholic Drugged cave men that can't even shower before a show with some valid points thrown in. I think the macro guy is good however the rest are bumbling morons.

Apart from wholly ignoring any questions about the ethical implications of the technology he discusses, in a recent episode he literally says that he uses ChatGPT to “manage my wife”...gain psychological insight, supposedly. Can you imagine a world where instead of speaking to the actual person in question, you turn to artificial intelligence? To “manage” your spouse? Lots to unpack in that Freudian slip.

I have been consuming crypto podcasts almost daily for 3 years now and I must say if you want to understand how to think about crypto and the directions it’s heading as well as some AI stuff Raoul is one of the best macro story tellers that can take complex abstract ideas and frame them in ways much easier than anyone else has in the space. He also is not just some random guy, but someone who worked at Goldman Sachs and has been a successful macro investor, he’s been putting out institutional grade publications for two decades. He has built Real Vision an investing media platform that has been a phenomenal resource for me. I’ve had a free account for a while until recently and it’s nice that free content on real vision and these podcasts he really is super generous with quality information. I don’t understand how there is a one-star review complaining about him plugging his platform. Like really? You’d rather hear ads for crypto exchanges and DeFi protocols than someone promoting their own business?! 😂

I hate when people think that cutting their podcast to force people to their website. I was already signed up to their free service but I don’t want to go to another website just for this podcast. Why would I want to stop listening to my podcast list to go to your website, you know how annoying that is? Bring back the whole podcast guys cmon!
