Wow, I’m over 30 minutes in and have yet to hear any content worth listening to. All I’ve learned is that most people don’t do research properly and use footnotes like the host of this podcast would. He clearly thinks he’s superior and it’s just irritating. I’m not here to be lectured on the value of a philosophy or history degree. If you’re so good at research, I’d love to hear some of it before your episode is half over.

Great show! Love the topics, the research the dynamic, everything! The audio is just SOOO quiet! I have to crack the volume to barely be able to hear them then be blasted away by ads 😞 It’s so distracting not being able to hear them well.

Guys I love your YouTube channel so much but your podcast is not doing it for me. Like many others have mentioned you have to crank your audio up so high just to hear and make since if anything. Then the ads come one and blow my eardrums. Also you guys go way too long into banter. Most of your episodes like many have said are confusing if it were not for the title cause it’s 1+ to maybe 2+ hours of side conversations before you get into the meat of the episodes. Many other podcasts good and bad have a healthy mixture of side banter mixed in or strategically placed as to not waste time. I would like to see you guys keep going but please consider what your views are saying

These guys are making a podcast about making a podcast. That’s most of the episode time all while demanding you pay them to answer questions. Just feels like they are running gigs about nothing. Pass.

I think the topics are interesting and the research and ideas are good. Like most people complained about, the audio quality isn’t great and one of the BIGGEST issues I have with a podcast that has a “cohost”, is that the useless off topic conversations always derail the shows. Always. And I don’t dislike the cohost on Lore Lodge, but it’s just too easy for banter that doesn’t add to the show. Also, ep 122, the Booth case…I really wish you would have told the story FIRST, then brought the parents in to fill in gaps! Because I had to find the story AFTER the episode to get an idea of WTH happened, just the basics! Just some advice, that’s all. I’m still subscribed bcz I feel like the show has a lot of potential.

Where else can you get history, humor, supernatural, skepticism and conspiracy theories? Here beaches. Only high IQ folks can follow this one. Waaay too heavy and deep for most. See you in another life when we are both cats.

I had a hard time listening to this. I found it pretty annoying.

I knew going in, this wasn’t going to be atypical history, but it’s unlistenable. These guys at times are completely wrong about history and their revisionist history is detrimental to anyone trying to learn history. You should read, “The reliance of the traveler” if you are in doubt about what islam is all about.

Maybe this will be the review that finally prompts you gentlemen into fixing your audio. Across the board, I never have to mess with much until I have to adjust the volume when I listen to you guys. I hope it’s not a hardware issue and is fixable for you, because it really is irritating. None of you guys are balanced either. Good stories, good research, and good luck!

Glad he had an opportunity to speak on the topics of Tartaria, Fomenko, and modern Hebrew being created out of Arabic by Eliezer Ben Yehuda. Five stars for Xirtus.

This is one of the most difficult podcasts to follow I have ever listened to. I don’t know if every episode is this disjointed, but the first Tartaria episode was almost impossible to follow. Stay on topic people.

I’m assuming these are two millennial guys who have some intelligence/knowledge who follow the quintessential podcast formula. Primary podcaster who talks and the loyal sidekick who sometimes adds a thought, but mostly just giggles and says “yep” a lot. They are full of themselves so good on them, but they lost me with the Roosevelt was one step from Hitler did it for me. Somehow a systematic murder of over 6 million people more than just a step, but they are the history experts… I just realized two stars was too strong.

Although there are a lot of off topic discussions, it’s actually really funny. I have followed the Aidens for a while and they haven’t missed when it comes to entertainment.

Not that funny, mainly off topic chat that gets kinda annoying. This was hard to follow. Also audio quality is not so great in some episodes.

This is a must listen for history buffs and those intrigued by the supernatural. I actually don’t believe in the supernatural but these guys bring enough entertainment to make it completely worthwhile!
