John Ortberg & his staff/family/friends help me start my day pointing my heart in the right direction. The teachings remind me of the little pray I learned as a child & still use today: “God be in my thoughts. God be in my words. God be in my heart.” We all know where your heart leads so your actions follow.

Bursts of wisdom, empathy, from a man deeply grounded in the word of God, church history, and God’s love. Read his book “Soul Keeping”, a classic.

So glad to be hearing from John Ortberg in this way. He is down to earth and comes across as a normal guy….just like the rest of us, although very wise and studied. After everything he and his family have been through he continues to give and teach, support and love. Greatly admired, greatly respected. Worth a listen.

John Ortberg brings so much to us in this daily podcast. He is an avid reader and theologian and presents insights from great minds. Everything he presents is biblically based and full of wisdom.
