I hate to say this because I’ve loved following and listening to Shannon, but she’s losing touch. The pregnancy podcast really just sent me over the edge - the constant weird noises and complaining. I’m happy she’s starting to do comedy shows and still growing and doing other things - I think the podcast might be something she should move on from.

I am genuinely curious who really takes an hour of their day to listen to this lunatic uncontrollably and unintelligently babble 🙄

This podcast really seems like an after thought just trying to get the required amount of episodes done per the contract each year now. I felt like there used to be more thought and effort put in by Shannon. Now seems like a good time to put the podcast on hold. The content is not there and when there is just random babble in the podcast then comes an ad. If you didn’t know you would think this was the beginning stages of someone trying to start their podcast to see what took off and got an audience because of how it’s produced/little effort.

What are these episodes? Zero effort so boring. Signing off

I love listening every week to this show! It really does feel like hanging out with your best friend and catching up. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like it would be hard for a new listener to jump right in now at this point. I’ve been following Shannon since VC so I am invested and love the updates. But, it’s hard to recommend this show to people who don’t know her since there’s a lot of backstory they feel out of the loop on. The ads are annoying for sure but I understand it’s necessary. Also…. Whoever keeps leaving Shannon the same bad reviews is honestly pathetic. Get a life. She isn’t going anywhere. They also literally keep saying the same thing over and over again. Like at least get creative.

I now think the engagement was more fake than either after listening to this. She got married but then wanted a proposal with a big ring that she could post about afterwards? Just say it was a greencard marriage already lol She’s so triggered by the Reddit group catching her out on lies too. A very manic listen.

This podcast used to be entertaining but now Shannon has really nothing to offer anymore since her life has become so boring after marrying her grifter husband. She is not a comedian and it’s honestly insulting to actual female comedians she considers herself one. She tells the same stories, uses the same phrases, talks loud and cusses a lot. Does not equate to a comedian. I’m surprised Dear Media is still supporting this podcast since her YT numbers are so low, it’s embarrassing.

I used to be an avid listener and over the last couple of months I’ve barely been able to get half way through an episode. It seems like she doesn’t want to be podcasting most the time. What really did it for me was the safari podcast and talking about how awful the norovirus was for her while on a lux safari for almost 10 minutes and then glazing over the LA fires within a couple minutes. The amount of acknowledgement she gave it compared to other influencers/podcasters was disappointing.

This weeks podcast was my favorite in a long time…. Because there wasn’t one.

I loveeee listening to Shannon’s stories but I think this podcast has more ads than any other I follow! Yikes!

It’s not *cute* and *quirky* to not introduce your guests… we literally have NO clue who they are and it’s infuriating

If you’re considering listening to this podcast, let me first summarize the format of her interviews for you and save you an hour of nails on a chalkboard: Shannon: Tells a story about herself for ten minutes. Guest: oh um ok uh huh, yeah, uh huh… Shannon: somewhat vaguely relates her story to a question for the guest. Guest: says a few words and… Shannon: interrupts to agree with them or make a comment about what they said, but then continues to talk for another 5 minutes about herself or her opinion about the two words the guest barely got out Guest: (clearly a little distracted and put off from their chain of thought due to the interruption) Shannon: moves on to next question There you have it. Unfortunately, Shannon spends most of the show eagerly answering the questions “for her guests “, herself, taking 5 minutes to ramble on about her answer and then only giving her guests a minute or two of spotlight to somewhat answer the question themselves. She also seems really fake when she’s interviewing people she doesn’t know, and since her recent interviewees are Gen Z, it seems she’s trying to be “cool”. Just comes off with a really inauthentic aura. Shannon solo, or with people she’s close to, is sooo much better but that’s gotten a bit dried up now that she’s become a bit of a homebody after marriage . Which is normal! The cycle of life. But maybe it’s time to move on from podcasting, or else someone needs to coach Shannon to make an effort to tweak her style a bit.

Listening to this podcast is like hanging out with your bestie. Shannon may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s what makes her unapologetically HER. Keep doing you sis, you have loyal followers that love what you’re doing. Some of these reviews are bizarre from people who simply don’t like her.

I had to stop mid listen because of how many times she either smacked her lips or swallowed spit because of how manic fast she was talking!

These reviews are just 🙄🙄. I find Shannon hilarious and highly entertaining. Yes she does ramble, yes she does interrupt people. But that’s was real people do sometimes. Keep making me laugh on the way to and from work please!

I love listening to Shannon .. while other reviews call her manic, I personally love how fast she speaks and how she bounces all over the place. For me, this is how my brain works also and it keeps me engaged/entertained. I love that she's fabulous and don't think she's showing off at all, she works for her coins and is always putting herself out there and takes whatever comes at her in the way of haters and clearly from the reviews I read there are a lot. Keep squawking Shannon I love you!

Tried giving it a listen but everything seems fake and over exaggerated. Throw in the obnoxious husband and it’s continuous verbal diarrhoea. Wouldn’t recommend!

Dear Media, what are you doing with this one? This is the most manic, random, annoying podcast on the planet. Shannon is all lies lies lies, fake fake fake. It’s all over the internet. Promoting her discredits your platform.

I have laughed so hard listening to every episode! I wouldn’t recommend listening with your parents or kids around but if you want a good laugh give it a listen. They remind me of me and my friends and wish I could hangout with them! Updated: I loved this podcast but it has changed a lot. With MC and her telling funny stories I was always rolling. Then with it being just her I still loved it while she was single but she’s now in a different phase of life which is great but it’s just not what it was. She tends to ramble a lot and talks over & interrupts her guest. The editing is spotty with things not being taken out after her mentioning it. For someone who says they don’t look at Reddit it comes off that she’s living there. I’ve found her very disingenuous now after finding out she lied about the timeline of her marriage. I feel like she probably lies about a lot of other details.

She was so much better when she was authentic. Now, she only talks about her and her husbands lavish lifestyle. That same husband used to sell used underwear for money. I wish she would be honest.

Ok DearMedia, it is seriously time to pull the plug on this podcast. Shannon has no class and continues to lie to her listeners/followers. If I wanted to listen to lies then I’d go download a fictional book. Podcasts should be somewhat innovative and the interviews should be somewhat genuine-Shannon’s podcast have neither of these attributes. She’s also the laziest influencer/podcaster that I’ve ever known. She complains about work (and people/fans that ask questions) and then asks fans for money to help fund her lifestyle. No thank you Dear Media. I won’t be listening anymore. Just to add-the snapping of the fingers at producer Courtney is a huge ick. Plus, are they ever going to remove MC from this as a host? She hasn’t been a co-host for this podcast for years. Good grief. A royal mess.

editing has really gone downhill, there are several times in recent episodes where she queues her producer to edit something out by snapping and asking to edit it…. but it’s clearly not edited out so we get to hear all the lies and fakeness as she spits it out.

Having to recap a previous podcast is a new low. How does this girl still have listeners?

This podcast is just terrible. She rambles and cuts off her guests. I’ve tried to like it but I lose brain cells listening.

Big Shannon supporter since VC. Sad the pod is just her belittling her followers.

I used to support Shannon & have since the VC days. But lately, the lies have gotten too much. The shadiness surrounding her now husband have gotten out of hand, and I no longer will be supporting Shannon because of it. Im all for keeping your private life secret, and a secret wedding is great! But it's the compounded lies in the last year that really did it for me. And to top it off, in her wedding "tell all" episode, she used an hour just to tear into other individuals. Being an influencer means being subject to bullies and I feel for that. But, you lie to everyone about being married, finally announce it, and then rather than use the time to address the love and commitment, she uses the time to completely go into other people. Shady business to me. Bigger mean girl energy. I was die hard Shannon fan but this was the straw that broke the camels back. This doesn't even account for her husband's shady behavior with "health" influencing and bought followers and her lack of commentary on it. I just am tired of being fed blatant lies. This ties back to the podcast because this is now just a medium to feed fake information. Pass.

Whyyyy do I feel like I'm in trouble for other people finding out you were married

Rude, condescending, and isn’t accountable for a year of lies. This last episode was more manic than usual. Cancel this dumpster fire!!

It’s the “my guys, my guys” “me no think so” part that’s giving me major ICK over Shannon right now. This episode was unbearable. Basically screaming at us because she decided to lie for the last year. Been following since the original Probably days with MC! Should have known then when MC distanced herself and quite literally moved states away right after that there was something fishy with this one. Done.

I wanted the real tea about why they were married but faking an engagement for a year! Instead she spent the whole episode calling people who aren’t happy with her dishonesty “mean” and trying to keep all the things she “wanted to keep to themselves” (lies) straight. Shannon just own it and say yeah we were lying for ads and sponsorships and a visa - and we lied to all of our friends. Like for your sanity and for better engagement and keeping fans own itttt! I’m done after this.

It’s just become Shannon spinning lies (badly) to back pedal and explain away all of her poor decisions lately. Not entertaining. Chaotic. Just rages at her listeners. Get a therapist don’t put this insanity on your podcast.

Love the podcast but please, less rambling

I used to love this pod way back when with MC. It has gone so downhill since then. Shannon never seems prepared, tells the same 3 stories again and again, cuts all of her guests off so you never get to know them or hear anything they have to say, and spends at least 1/3 of every podcast saying how she no longer cares what others thinks when clearly she does just by how much she brings it up. I hope your real life is really better than what you portray because what you show seems depressing and empty just buying material goods fill the void of the lack of happiness and joy in your life.

Shannon has fallen so far. I couldn’t get past the first 7 minutes of she sounds so congested and nasally. Girl, you signed up to be an influencer, don’t go gaslighting your followers who fund your extravagant lifestyle after finding out you are a LIAR. You flat out made a fake engagement for content AFTER YOU GOT MARRIED to up your following and make $ because that’s all you care about. Just ADMIT it and give it a rest.

Complete insanity.

You were on the verge of tears for this full episode, voice quivering and all. I mean it makes sense when your day solely consists of monitoring IG comments, sucking up to your bff, and keeping your megalomaniac husband happy. We can tell you’re unhappy, my guy, but you keep choosing this, so enjoy your utterly empty life i guess! We see you doing absolutely nothing for the greater good and making your parents proud, one useless podcast episode at a time!
