I always appreciate Christina’s insight - even if it’s not something immediately relevant to my teaching life at the moment. It’s always nice to get different perspectives and to hear new insights. Especially given how isolating this job can feel. No matter the topic, I always feel inspired by each episode. At the end of the day I WANT to be a highlight of my students’ childhood but it’s easy to get bogged down by the frustrations - sports schedules, lack of practice, random bad attitudes, loss of materials... I can lose perspective. Each week Christina points me to that bigger picture! 😊

I love Christina’s honest , easy-going talks, and I love how she shares her wisdom in such a wide variety of piano teacher topics. She really is a & cheerleader of us, piano teachers! Listening each week makes me feel like we are hanging out at a coffee shop and diving in to teacher talk. I’ve gained both practical applications that I can use quickly with my studio, business perspectives , and insights into how to deal with a wide variety of communication/parent/student needs in the studio.

This is BY FAR my favorite piano teacher podcast!!! Christina’s bright, joyful voice and ever positive outlook bring happiness to my day whenever I listen to her. I love that she keeps it to 20 min - short, sweet and to the point - a perfect amount of time for my commute to the gym or a walk around the neighborhood. Each podcast offers helpful and immediately applicable advice for teaching. Happy 1 year anniversary! I hope she continues to share her insights and cute humor for many more years to come!!

When I found this podcast it was like reconnecting with a long lost friend. I find I have so much in common with Christina and every episode so far has been like having coffee with a teacher friend. I have come away with new ideas for my teaching and a reassurance that I am in the right profession for me.

I was hesitant to add a podcast about “work” to my playlist but Christina is so positive and encouraging that I feel refreshed and ready for a week of teaching after listening. The perfect length for me, this is a wonderful podcast for any music teacher!
