Not completely accurate to Christian beliefs or the Bible
I was really liking this show until the comments came up that god has created pornography and that it’s ‘beautiful and visually stimulating’ and to ignore when your boys are doing it. God did not create pornography for anyone to view and it is incredibly damaging to your child’s view on intimacy for the rest of their lives and relationships. Porn is not an accurate description of what sexual intimacy with a partner is supposed to look like. It’s created from evil. To encourage it or say it was created by god, I just couldn’t stomach this and stopped listening. There is some good advice and I like the different perspective but as a Christian parent, I don’t feel I can rely on some of this advice after hearing this episode.

    Wow! What Wisdom.
My child is not a teen yet, but I want to prepare myself ahead of time so all this wisdom can sink in over the next years. I stumbled upon this gem by accident, and I am so glad I did. I think one of the biggest mistakes parents make is automatically assume what the child always did. Thank you for such a dynamic and universal point of view and for being so respectfully truthful even when the parent may be the root of the problem in the home, and holding them accountable as well. This is so refreshing.

    Parenting todays teens
I’ve been listening to Moody In Chicago for over 30 years and this Show comes on Saturday . When my kids were growing up I could listen to these kids pour there hearts out . I knew about issues and how to approach the kids . They thought I was a genius, I knew how to approach them , comfort them , address there needs . My heart goes out to the kids and Mr.Grayson ,does a great Job .

This podcast is a Godsend for me!
Raising teens is not an easy job. My teen and I had started butting heads pretty hard over this past summer. I was like, Jesus PLEASE take the wheel because I’m about to loose my mind. My child has been transitioning from a baby teen to a full fledged teen and I didn’t know how to handle it. I like that I can listen to this every morning and that it is just a short, sweet, and to the point message. Between God, prayers, devotionals, and this podcast, we are making great progress.

Changing my perspective, help for desperate parents
With three teenage daughters in today’s culture, my anxiety might be out the roof without my daily dose of this podcast. Mark has helped me to realize that my parenting techniques, which were basically my loving parents’ techniques, were not working in this present day of social media and internet information overload. I knew I was not getting the relationship with my girls and the results in their lives I so desire for them. It is a work in progress, so I rely on this podcast daily on my way home from work to keep a loving, experience-based, Christian perspective in the forefront of my mind when I walk in the door to engage with my daughters. Thank you, Mark and staff!!! Please keep this resource coming!!

Skip the religion if you want. It’s worth it.
I have had people say “yeah, but, it’s very Christian and that turns me off/isn’t me/I can’t relate” etc. I hear you. And yourself a favor, this guy’s got the good stuff. Try 2, and, if I’m talking to you, skip the episodes that don’t sound like you. There are plenty that can give you valuable info. Honest.

We currently have three teenagers and have found parenting teens to be very challenging! We have also been having a hard time figuring out how to get on the same page when parenting them. This podcast is an amazing resource! It is practical, biblical and provides very helpful strategies for navigating this critical life stage. Practical parenting advice
I believe this is the best podcast on parenting teens. Mark Gregston provides sound guidance. The “bite-size” podcasts are perfect for me for everyday listening, ~15 minutes. His approach encourages building relationships with one’s kids — easier said than done but worth it. By putting just some of his ideas into practice, our teen is responding by wanting to spend more time with us, talking to us, and accepting consequences for poor choices. There are no easy paths as parents but I believe Mark Gregston can help. I find this podcast encouraging and insightful.
