Dang Stephanie. This is real journalism. I am so proud of you and you are just amazing. Don’t you worry about a thing if people try to come after you because you have a literal army at your back. You are brave enough to speak truth to power, and what you are doing is incredibly important. You deserve some kind of a serious journalism award for the work you’ve done the K-pop episodes are not the typical true crime podcast, spitting out the story of a crime that happened years ago, that everybody already knows the details…. This is real. This is now this is important and you are the one speaking truth to power never stop we love you. ************** Old review Everything is so great and still 5 stars! I do believe you are genuinely emotional a lot of the time.But sometimes it feels like you are—on purpose—pushing yourself to have a weepy voice and it’s 🤮. ***Your listeners can hear the difference between 1.)when you are genuinely brought to tears and 2.)when you are pushing it. Please, please cut this out. It’s so cringey I have to fast forward.. and frankly, it’s disrespectful. Everything else— keep up the great work.

I first found RottenMango on her Youtube channel and as someone who loves true crime video essays and podcasts this channel was a favorite for me. Each episode is very well thought out and well produced. I have practically listened to each episode I listen to so many! Keep up the great work!

This is my favorite podcast. I used to listen to crime junkie but then my friend told me about rotten mango and I just immediately fell in love. The way Stephanie tells the stories amazes me. She even inspired me to start my own podcast (still working on it). I love that she is supporting so many causes and her recent story about the girl with DID helped me portray DID in the book I am working on. I listen to this podcast whenever I am in the park or in my free time. I just adore this. And one more thing to the people who hate on this podcast, her voice is not annoying and her story telling is great, and cases are very sensitive so changing victim names is perfectly fine. Some people may not want to have their name publicly told. Keep up the good work Stephanie. 😁🤩

My favorite true crime podcast, by far. I love Stephanie’s storytelling skills and her husband asks the questions I would ask. I love their dynamic and how thorough their research is. I am close to fully catching up on all of their podcasts.

I was really excited after I started an episode, I was finally happy I could hear something new. And in this episode you are talking about a 17 year old girl and when you re-enact her voice you turned it into a baby voice and it was disgusting. Your voice is so gross and enrages me in some kind of insane way. 0 stars.

Listened to 75% of the entire podcast in like 2 months, you are in my ear telling me your cases while i work, in my car on the way to work, and on my way back home from work. Love you and your pod sm!! <3

Wow I’m blown away about how irresponsible this podcast was. The chick did say she spent a “whole day” researching it (which apparently is “more than usual” and it SHOWS). Besides ‘reporting’ rumors that had no factual basis in the case (ie. That one of the boys had asked her out and she rejected him bc she “wanted to focus on her grades”….none of the boys ever asked her out and she had a serious boyfriend at the time of her kidnapping) it’s absolutely DISGUSTING to me how this host just makes up “dialogue” of what the boys said, what junko said and even what she was THINKING. None of this obnoxious “improv” is based on court transcripts, it’s whatever this flippant woman *feels* like the conversations could have been like. And for someone who can’t research, it’s a disgusting stretch to put words in the mouths of the killers/abusers and even more terrible to make up a dialogue of junko’s words and feelings. Seriously, gross gross gross. Either do real research or start with a disclaimer saying “I know a few bits & pieces of this case, and not all of them may be true or accurate, and I’m gonna go ahead and make up a story around it”.

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. I love the concept of her telling her husband a story however lately it has been all over the place. The episodes are far to long, a bit choppy and never on time. I may have to give this a break and hope they get it together.

This is the only podcast I ever listen to. I love it. She goes into so much detail and thoroughly goes over conclusions from the internet, and does deep dives into court cases. When I was listening to the Itaewon episode, which is arguably one of the saddest episodes, her fiancé said ‘yeah’ and I got so scared. I was wearing earbuds and it was in my right ear. Anyway, she does so good with as much information as you could want. This podcast is so interesting. Keep up the good work!

Stephanie may be single-handedly one of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard like she goes into so much depth of everything. She reviews the aspects of the victims in such a way that when I was hearing Iteawon Case I couldn’t stop crying. She conveys it in such a amazing way and at the same time, you have your funny moments and your sad moments and moments where you feel such anger because she’s so good at explaining everything this is single-handedly the best podcast I’ve ever listened to

I know a couple people complained about her talking too fast but I love how fast she talked and how she changes her voice for a dramatic effect sometimes, and I’m obsessed with her and her husband’s commentary 💕💕💕💕

I love the way that she tells the stories. It’s a different way to do it from the other podcasts. It sets her apart and I find her truly refreshing the way she weaves the stories. I know some people say they can’t get past her voice and how fast she talks at times but I adore Stephanie!

The rating says clean and girl the second my mom walked in while listening to junko's case, u said a nono word and now i gotta listen to this with headphones. I love ur narrative perspective, its funny but helps make the show more interesting. Also u and ur fiancée are so cute, and his "wow" is funny too. I just started listening (listening oldest to youngest) and the term "forked" from pogo's case is the only word in my dictionary! I recommend this to people who like true crime, but are a lil bit scared of it too because theres no pictures and no creepy music involved either! Say hi to mango your star for me, and your other dog!

The only reason I use the podcast app is for rotten mango. I eat sleep and drink!! Drink mango 🥭 I love how Stephanie makes the jokes at the right time and keeps it serious in the right time I love how she doesn’t talk to fast and is very smooth with how she brings along topics someone said she talks to fast but I totally disagree maybe their settings were on 2x or something I love how not fast and not slow it is♥️♥️ thank you Stephanie and Mr.Mango 🫶🫶🫶

I love her real emotions when she talks about the sad and hard reality of these tragic true crime stories. She doesn’t only do it for money, she does this to spread the word of cases so they don’t get silenced.

The narrator’s voice was so fast that I actually checked my settings for speed. It’s like she just drank a gallon of espresso before an audition for a local theatre. Made me agitated listening to her. And lord have mercy, she says “blood splatter.” Splatter?? If you’re doing true crime podcast, you should know it’s spatter. I couldn’t get through one episode.

im sorry but im realizing how rotten mango is just word for word copying other medias that covers these stories, like the most recent one on 6/5 is just the youtuber’s EXPLORE WITH US video. she just makes it 5x more confusing with her style of story telling

All time favorite podcast!

This is the best podcast on the app. Well informed, articulate and not in a weird way but Stephanie has such a podcast voice like she could talk about literally anything and I’d be interested. But that doesn’t mean the stories aren’t interesting though, as she always covers the most interesting, but underground cases and spreads awareness for their causes. Always accurate, yet insightful, and easy to get addicted to.

I love her and her stories love you mango you make me fell happy
