That burnt out fast. I liked to listen to this but something happened. I guess Darryl was a naughty man so no more podcast. Farts. Darryl rules and if you don’t like Darryl, you’re a little crying baby ween.

I can’t believe that after all Jocko says, he would align himself with an anti-Semitic fascist like Darryl Cooper. I was a huge fan of Jocko, but can’t believe this is the company he keeps. Definitely not the “leader” I would want to champion, or give my money to. He markets himself as a purveyor of freedom and level headedness, yet aligns himself with a blatant self promoter and liar. But Jocko doesn’t care, there’s enough anti sémites he can peddle his wares to.

Darryl Cooper is a crank historian who has trouble with facts. Jocko is better without him.

Saw Darrell on the Tucker Carlson show about his set an hour long history podcast. Mention this one as well. Just finished listening to mental institution, the most recent episode. I’m in the ER doctor, so I definitely see the results with not having inpatient beds for legitimately schizophrenic people with no family. They end up on the streets doing drugs and in my ER. Good discussion by 2 Smart Guys!

The Unraveling started off as an insightful podcast that carefully examined all aspects of modern issues. Unfortunately it has become an increasingly unhinged and low-evidence rant against supposedly corrupt western “elites”, whoever they are. I appreciate healthy skepticism of the motivations of the powerful, but Darryl makes increasingly tenuous logical leaps to identify his boogeymen, and Jocko does nothing to keep the conversation sane.

They pretend like they’re non biased but every point has a right wing tinge to it. One second they talk about the responsibility powerful people have to the country but then like when Elon musk goes rogue.

Great show guys!!! I LOVE this show and miss you when you’re gone. Thank you!

This is a very informative podcast with an excellent infusion of historical events, which provide the background to present-day conflicts. This is a great podcast! Please make more of them.

I have been hoping they’d pick it back up, but this podcast has been dead or dying for quite some time. I hope they will pick it back up.

This last episode, I had to turn off because I couldn’t hear one of the people talking anytime he started speaking. Just make sure your guest use the mic.

We need more Darryl and Jocko!

Not a fan of this guy anymore. He’s pretty clear that he thinks an innocent Palestinian child being killed as collateral damage in strikes against Hamas terrorists and military equipment is morally equivalent to an innocent Israeli child being specifically and directly targeted in their bed by a man with a knife or rifle and being killed that way. Those two things are not morally equivalent. His rhetoric is the kind that incentivizes Hamas to use human shields. I can no longer support this podcast.

Love this show. Really appreciate the even take on the Israel/Palestine conflict.

I really liked this show for a long time and they’ve done great deep dives on other historical events, but the overt and explicit bias for Israel is cringeworthy…def not their best take

I enjoy all your stuff jocko but we need more of the Unraveling podcast. I would sacrifice some of the jocko podcast for more of unraveling. Darryl and jockos’ perspective is awesome insight.

Jocko’s practical insight and Darryl’s deep research and thought process bring context and an awesome chemistry.

The truth is harder to find than it should be but Jocko breaks it down. As professor Tamsin Shaw said they are using advances in psychology against us- specifically the book Thinking Fast And Slow.

Jocko and Darryl do a great job in presenting a perspective that is not often heard. I’m not saying that they are trying to “twist” the narrative on history, rather giving you takes that, while well documented, are often glossed over. I would listen to a “Dan Carlin-esque” 6-hour version of these two going deeper into any one of the subjects they’ve covered.

C grade conspiracy theorist hypocrite who’s credentials include and are limited to - “I read a lot.” While “free thought” is an awesome and powerful part of being human, it doesn’t mean that you can just “free think” things up and pass them off as facts, which, by the way, unfortunately makes up the bulk of this podcast. Of course, the cultist morons will eat it up because the weak mind echo chamber is ripe for ex military guys that read a lot to be the voice of their consciousnesses. It’s sad. I’m a huge Jocko fan, and I have learned a ton from his work, but this association is a failure. Please have somebody come by and fact check this nonsense, then own it, and end it.
