    Keep it up
I started listening to Travis and the flush several months ago and love the format and topics. However this weeks episode on quail camp had this “upper middle age” guy driving down a major interstate with sudden onset allergies. Needless to say, I am now trying to put together multiple “camps” fishing and hunting. Keep up the good works and thank you.

    Training podcast
I just wanted to send a note that I really enjoyed the podcast that was focused on dog training. I’m sure I’m not the first to suggest it but that could be an awesome episode for the show!

Episode 108- Questions for a hunting dog veterinarian
Travis...I most recently enjoyed listening to your interview with Dr. Brekke. I was interested to hear his opinion on whether it’s prudent to feed your dog before a hunt. I personally don’t feed my Britt before hunting but have also heard differences of opinions from other hunters. I was glad to hear that a small about of dry kibble and Gatorade is fine. Years ago, I had experienced a frightening situation after a grouse and woodcock hunt when my Brittany started to shake in a seizure and was glassy eyed. I quickly learned from other hunters that he was hypoglycemic and to immediately get sugar in him! Fortunately I had some soft caramel candy(“Cow Tail”) that dramatically improved my dog’s condition. After placing the white sugar in his mouth, my dog suddenly started licking and recovered without any complications. This is something that all bird dog owners should educated about. I never want to experience this again. I’ve heard that some hunters stay prepared by carrying sugar packets, honey capsules and even cake icing in their vest. Best regards, Paul Hallberg, aka “outdoorman43”

    Disgrace
So per your exact words you call farm hunters not real hunting…… whatever it takes for people to get in the outdoors should not be degraded by you or anyone else……. Who do you think you are to call someone “not a real hunter”?

    Episode 31 Review
Just listened to the gang & couldn’t help but laugh about the KY hunt. Don’t know where they would want you to go but I hunt grouse & quail. Birds are few & far between. I spend most my season hunting out of state & rely on the woodcock migration to hunt any birds in state.

    Fun hunting show
This show will have you itching to get out in the field in the middle of summer. Travis is not going to focus on shooting limits of birds everyday (which seems to happen anyways), but more so on the hunt, the preservation and friends involved in getting to those wild birds all over the country.

    Great podcast!!!
I love the diversity of the hunting that is talked about. I do wish that they would bring out that hunting a certain species is very different from state to state. Even from one part of a state to the other. However a very great podcast!!!
