The best bee podcast! Jamie Ellis is a rockstar!
I was so sad when they stopped making episodes of Two Bees in A Podcast! I think I’ve listened to every episode. I seem to recall that it was originally designed to have rotating list of hosts, but then it just became the Jamie & Amy (Vu) Show. Loved it! It was great! I’m sure I’ll still listen to old episodes, but it feels like my best friend died! 😥😞☹️

    No bull
The hosts stay true to scientific information and don’t forget real world experience at the same time. Information does not seem biased by commercial influence. I always enjoy the show and learn something new.

    Educational and Entertaining
This is my favorite Beekeeping Podcast. The new monthly management is great. I regularly reference and recommended this Podcast to our Beekeeping Group.

Well organized and evidenced bases best bee practices.
I have many beekeeping sites, podcasts and YouTube videos that I subscribe to listed and saved on my computer/iPhone. Whenever I travel or during down times at home my preference it learning vs entertainment. Your podcast is by far the best I have listened to and I intend to listen to all 92 episodes before year’s end. Additionally, my intent is to obtain a master beekeepers certification for your institution as well. Keep up the great work and don’t change your venue.

    Entertaining and interesting
What a great extension activity. Love that our local University can have such a great outreach that helps real people. The guests they have share such great information, giving new and interesting perspectives on beekeeping.

    The best beekeeping podcast!
This is the best beekeeping podcast that I have found! It is informative and interesting, with the added bonus of being well-organized and easy to follow along. I especially appreciate that it is very science- and data-based, without being overwhelming or too technical. I listen every week, religiously. I’ve been keeping bees for 3 years and feel that this podcast is one of the most helpful tools for my beekeeping success!

    Banana
Hey guys how about doing a show on bananas. How about nasty bees and that all strains can be nasty at times and what might cause nastiness.

    wanted to like it
I wanted to like this podcast, I listened to three episodes excited to learn more about bees. I felt like the podcaster leading the conversation was condescending to the guests and to his female counter part. I couldn’t continue listening because I felt uncomfortable :/ I like witty humor and sarcasm, not at the expense of putting others one step below you, and I felt like the host was doing that.

    Informative and Entertaining
I am not yet a beekeeper but am putting in two hives this spring (2021). I have listened to a few other podcasts about backyard beekeeping and none are nearly as informative as Two Bees in a Podcast. Easy to listen to and I am so glad I discovered this gem. I started listening to a few episodes based on their titles and quickly became hooked. I am now listening from the beginning and have enjoyed and learned something from each episode . The Q and A at the end is one of the best parts. Love the hosts and their humor. Interesting guests and their enthusiasm is infectious. Can’t wait until my nucs arrive!!

    The best there can bee
UF IFAS Bee Labs have a reputation among beekeepers as one of, if not THE, best sources for bee science. I was so stoked to see they have a podcast!! The information is intriguing for anyone with entomology experience or just interested in Ecology/agriculture. Definitely give this a listen!

    Binge worthy
Packed with valuable info and the guests are fantastic. After all the episodes I’ve listened to I still giggle at the game show intro to Stuuuuump the Chuuuuuump! Thank you for taking the time to do it.

    PERFECT BEEKEEPING PODCAST
This podcast is perfect for beginners or experienced keepers. I love it that the hosts are folks with so much knowledge and explain things in easy language as well as fully. The show flows and the hosts work well with each other. It’s not boring!! If you love bees, this is your place to “bee”!

    Learning and Laughing Every Episode
This podcast is both entertaining and informative. The chemistry between Jamie, Amy and Cameron is awesome and makes every episode fun to listen to. It’s also great to have people that are so passionate about honeybees and honeybee keeping who are equally passionate about getting important information out to other beekeepers and the public in general. No matter what level of beekeeper you are or even if you’re not a beekeeper, this podcast is just fun to listen to and you may just learn something along the way.
  • Did it work?? Nope
    One of my favorites!
I really enjoy listening to this very informative and beneficial podcast that is suitable for all levels of beekeeping! I would love to hear your research on supplemental feeding. When to feed, how much and 1:1, 2:1 mix etc.. Keep up the great work guys!

    Bee Best!
I love all bee related podcasts, but this is my favorite one. I am lucky enough to be attending UF/IFAS Spring Bee College 2020 right now. Dr. Ellis is very entertaining and he is an excellent teacher. I wish they made podcasts more often, but I know we are thankful they have some time to make these. THANK YOU!

    Really Enjoyed
Listened to all of the available podcasts! They were a delight to listen to! Informative and witty! All four of the hosts are very knowledgeable yet keep the discussion at a level any beekeeper should be able to understand... Can’t wait for more! Only negative is this is put out by U of Florida and I’m a Bulldog for life! 😂😂🤓 Go SEC!!!

I cannot get enough of beekeeping podcasts. I am grateful for the many podcasts and their variety and styles. I am thrilled to start listening to Two Bees in a Podcast particularly. This podcast is turning out to be loaded with information but yet still entertaining and not dry. I find myself learning so much already. Thank you for this podcast.
