Love this pod. Almost becomes a per episode challenge to act on each topic at work. Concise and engaging. Dig the hosts.

Content Great, Chemistry Could be Better
I have loved this podcast since Brave New Work, with Aaron and Rodney. While I appreciate Sam and Rodney now, there’s a lot of time spent talking about how “mean” Rodney is to Sam. It’s strange and distracting.

The work podcast you actually want to listen to
Rodney and Sam have natural chemistry and always look at the why and how of organizational processes and decisions. I recommend this to everyone I work with and I love seeing their eyes light up when they realize they’re not alone in wanting to change how we work!

    I never miss an episode
Been a fan since Brave New Work and the podcast just keeps getting better. Sam and Rodney are doing such a great job of pulling out real workplace dilemmas that feel super timely, sharing their take on why they arise, and then offering a different take on how to address them. My LinkedIn profile is basically becoming a love letter to this podcast. Amanda Perkins Kochab Advising

This is likely the best mashup podcast on organization design, change management, business agility, and work place therapy out there. If not, tell me because I’ve consumed this for 4 years running and have found significant value from it. Why is it amazing? The hosts (Rodney and Sam) totally are master practitioners of this space. They hit a topic in such a brilliant way you wonder “do they listen when I talk to Alexa/Siri?” Beyond being in your head, they break down where you are likely getting stuck on topics and provide a way forward. They consistently offer practical experience from their end and they do so with humor. Yes, they make org design funny and enjoyable, can it get better than that? I think not. If I didn’t have kids to feed, then I would give my excess earnings to them because they have helped me earn it. Yes, the title is misleading but blame Apple for their poor UI on how you view reviews on your phone. I did not want to miss the chance to share this good news with you.

    Inspiring!
This podcast strengthens my optimism about possibility and potential. We don’t have to settle for old ways of working!

    Consistently insightful
Aaron and Rodney are consistently laying out some key ideas I wish leaders of orgs I’ve been a part of my entire career had heard and implemented. So grateful for their guidance in helping shape healthy organizations (and individuals). Amazing guest appearances as well from time to time. Love this library of wisdom!

A faciliatator must listen. Actionable listening and humanizing work.
I listen and love lots of podcasts but this is my very first podcast review. Why? This one is worth the effort. I share Brave New World episodes often. I borrow inspiration from the topics shared here to try to do better work in the world. I feel validated on my darker consulting days. And dare I say, listening to the hosts Aaron and Rodney’s hilarious transformation SME banter and dynamic makes for the most fun and familiar faciliatator debrief sessions. Must listen for anyone who cares about working better & smarter
Have been listening and learning for about a year now, and I’m constantly recommending to colleagues. Has helped spark a lot of interesting conversations and changes in my workplace and work. Rodney and Aaron are fun, witty, deeply knowledgeable and really, really good at creative metaphors.

Combating Imposter Syndrome with Brave New Work
TLDR; Brave New Work had a major impact on my life. These conversations between Aaron and Rodney entertain and delight me as they help to combat my imposter syndrome and salve my nervous system. Hearing them share publicly what I’m often thinking alone, gives me confidence in standing in my unorthodox thoughts and maintaining strong boundaries with my clients. I lean into not saying what I think the client wants to hear, but instead what will help them move forward. I’ve turned to this podcast in moments of pure rage, ultimate frustration, and painstaking doubt to remember the capacity for holding polarity with compassion is Brave New Work. I share this podcast all the time.
So grateful to Aaron, Rodney and their team at The Ready for this podcast. Seriously, it’s my fav. Y’all kept me sane when I struggled to find a community on adaptive/human ways of working. I’ve learned so much from your conversations and now I get to do this work within my own org and our clients. Tip of the hat to YOU…and, of course, Taylor Marvin!

    My first ever binge-listened podcast
As a decade-plus middle manager, I have long sensed the untapped potential of doing better in our organizations. Brave New Work offers up meaningful, bite-sized ideas and actions I can take to nudge my team toward new ways of working, even within a bigger system that does things the same old way. I am grateful to Rodney and Aaron for their generosity in sharing so many helpful lessons, and in encouraging listeners to go change something. I now take micro-steps almost every day. I just know - it will add up!

An indispensable source of fresh perspective
The Brave New Work podcast has become an indispensable resource for my personal growth as a collaborator, leader, and all-around human. The hosts and guests consistently prompt me to question my beliefs about working with other people in ways which feel opinionated and earned but non-confrontational. I always finish each episode with ideas to explore, things to try, and new ways of thinking about dynamics at work. It’s completely reshaped the way I think about coming together with other people to get things done.

    Game changer
This podcast has changed the way I work and the way my team works. Rodney, Aaron and guests have given me incredible ideas and experiments to bring back to my team and we have metamorphosized (is this a word?) into a healthier more productive team unencumbered by the professional fetters that have been tying us down for years. The mix of theory and clear actionable ideas has really helped transform our workplace. We’ll worth a listen!

    My lifeline!
Brave New Work has given me tools, ideas, and inspiration to catalyze a different generation of change at work. I literally listen to a podcast and try something new the next day. That’s how practical it is. Also, I totally appreciate Aaron and Rodney for thoroughly answering a question I submitted on a podcast - if you have a question, don’t be shy about emailing them. BNW is my lifeline!

    SO good!
If you’re into thinking about why we structure our businesses, churches, or groups the way we do, you’ll love these conversations. They’re so thought provoking and often tactical as well.

    THE Future of Work Pod
I’d not heard of the Ready until a few months ago but am now a huge fan of this podcast and the work they do. There are a lot of people talking about how the workplace is changing. Nobody is talking about the future of work with the clarity of vision that the Ready is bringing. Every episode gives me not just ideas about WHAT the future of work could look like, but practices for HOW orgs can change today. Plus, Aaron and Rodney…delightful!

    A must-listen for businesses leaders
If you believe business maintaining the status quo is unacceptable, this podcast is a must-listen. Aaron and Rodney take big issues around organization design and provide a conceptual framework for why and how to do things differently. Further, you'll walk away with implementable tools. I sure have! After hearing one particular episode, I tried one of the methods the very next day with a client. Love it!

Business as usual isn’t cutting it. I’m so thankful there’s a show like Brave New Work exploring all the ways we can do business better. These conversations are crucial to progress toward building better workplaces. Rodney and Aaron facilitate such engaging interviews with so many interesting guests. Can’t wait to listen to more.

    Amazing Content
Brave New Work (both the book and the podcast) is a breath of fresh air in a world plagued by bureaucracy. The content is both insightful and motivating - it drives me to create a better workplace and provides concrete ideas for how to do that. Plus, it’s just plain fun to listen to.

    Impacts My Work Every Week!
I love Brave New Work! The podcast and the book. I work for a small self managed org and we listen to a new episode as a team every week. Each week we learn something new or are inspired to try a new experiment in our company. I am so grateful for Brave New Work and how Aaron and Rodney push us to be a learning organization! Highly recommend for anyone who believes there must be a better way of working!

    Sherpa in Training
As someone who has worked closely with The Ready and is practicing new ways of working, this podcast is a must for this “sherpa in training”! Guiding people up and down experimental mountains is exhausting, discouraging, exhilarating and ultimately so freaking worth it to get where your organization wants to be. And, it’s also important to recharge, zoom out and find inspiration, perspective and new learning. That’s what I find in this podcast. You won’t regret spending your time here.

    Inspiring, Insighful, and surprisingly funny
I just recently finished Brave New Work for a book club at work and was recommended this podcast. I'm an intern and I am just starting to understand how the ways you work really effect the outcome. Luckily the team I work with is experimenting with these new ways of work so I'm getting used to good habits upfront. This podcast furthered my learning of what I read in the book. I've been enjoying hearing guest's stories and bring them up at work or in discussion because there are tons of great points in this podcast and like to share this knowledge with other people. I also think Rodney is hilarious, just saying.

    Quality Schtuff
I simply want to believe Rodney and Alan are either my work mates or BFFs — their wisdom and levity add a thought provoking dimension to so many workplace and self development considerations. It’s a pace that leaves me inspired instead of all that I may not be—yet! Thanks for all the good times this year, grateful for this podcast and all you share with us!

    Thoughtful, unexpected, useful
This podcast always presents an unexpected angle of organizational development and “ways we work.” I think anyone who cares about how they show up in their workplace (and how their workplace shows up to them!) would find something valuable in this podcast!

    Extremely relevant!
Aaron and Rodney really dive deep in their interviews and have the incredible ability to tease out the most valuable stories and advice. If you’re looking for key insights and actionable advice about the new world of work, this is the podcast you need to listen to. Thank you Aaron and Rodney!

    Beacon for OS Soldier
Brave New Work is a beacon of inspiration and hope for those who dare to change the way organizations work, because don't we need it (period, not question mark). The candor and "what if" thinking that Rodney and Aaron authentically bring to the table is the much-needed recharge for those in and amongst every day OS challenges. Unlike many podcasts, the quality of Brave New Work episodes is consistent across seasons, maintaining value, stimulation, "I've been there" laugher and relief. I particularly appreciated the Ready for Anything series, where Rodney and Aaron talked about how each part of the canvas might be approached in light of COVID-19 challenges. I also really resonated with their more recent Participatory Governance episode (yes, please do a part 2 - we're all [humble] nerds out here and proud of it). I have recommended The Ready and Brave New Work (podcast and book) to many friends and colleagues, and look forward to continuing to do so.

Only podcast I listen to every week
Rodney and Aaron are brilliant, candid and hilarious. This podcast gives me the deep dive into org design topics that I so wanted after I finished the Brave New Work book. Now I'm just hoping they make a Slack community for all of us followers to connect!

    Thought-Provoking, Funny, Relevant and Applicable
Brave New Work is a fantastic listen. The hosts are great at having a casual yet completely coherent conversation that invites thoughtful ideas, offers easily applicable advice, and provides a few laughs along the way. I began listening a couple weeks ago and am having fun working my way through the current episodes while eager to see what comes next! Thanks, Aaron and Rodney, for the fantastic content!

    Wisdom in the trenches
Building a change practice in a large legacy company, The Ready’s podcast has been my wisdom in the trenches. Allowing me to sift through the noise and lock arms in thought with others pushing to the fringes. Rodney and Aaron, thank you for overflowing your knowledge and practical experiences. Your work has left fingerprints and ripples all over our org transformation work. Grateful. 🙏🏽

    Bringing Energy Back to Work
Even in these rapidly changing times, Brave New Work brings energy and thought provoking ideas to each podcast. It expands the knowledge of the book by practical (and timely) real world issues. By far the best level reset podcast out there on how to continue to bring focus and drive to work and adaptability to each new situation. Can’t recommend this podcast enough!

So good. So relevant. So useful.
This is my favorite podcast. I love Aaron and Rodney’s vulnerability and their awesome dynamic and chemistry. They challenge each other all the time. As of now, Rodney is ahead. From the check in to the first few concepts they unpack to the deep dive with their amazing guests & their unique gifts to the conclusion of the podcast, it’s a blast!! Get ready for a great ride! FYI, You will have the starting / ending techno-pop music lingering in your head long after the podcast is over. I love the new piano ending too. Ready. Set. Go.

    Funny, engaging and thought provoking
This is the podcast that got me listening ton podcasts regularly again. So much usable ideas that I’ve been able to bring to clients already. Plus they are fun! It’s not like sitting through a lecture unlike many similar podcasts on these topics.

    Thought-provoking, actionable, excellent
It's about time we start talking about shenanigans at work. Aaron and Rodney are on it. Unfiltered yet intelligent and witty. My new favorite podcast. Calling out the status quo, offering intuitive solutions, and taking off the masks we wear; Brave New Work is a must-listen for those of us who want to show up, be seen, and do the best work of our lives.
