This IS the podcast you are looking for! Bring back Devon Dalton and Lauren
I listened to this show every week for Mandolorian and Kenobi and Book of Boba Fett analysis but had to pause before Ashoka because I hadn’t watch Clone Wars or Rebels yet. Now I’m back and listening along as I watch Ashoka but I can’t ignore the glaring fact that the show was cancelled prematurely! Why?!? It’s the only Star Wars podcast worth listening to! It was a great balance between prominent entertainment journalistic coverage and dedicated fans with deep knowledge and insights. The interviews were great, the games were great, and the hosts were beloved. I learned so much about the details, references, and background that went into every episode. It was invaluable for the fans. If EW doesn’t want to pay for this anymore, Disney should.

    Don’t cancel! Best podcast
Don’t cancel I am a better Star Wars fan from this podcast don’t cancel !

    #1 Star Wars Podcast
Great show with great chemistry! While they do bring up both the hits and misses of Star Wars; they don’t go on bile filled tangents. This has become my favorite Star Wars podcast.

    Elitist vibes
I don’t get the vitriol these hosts have toward the prequel trilogy; especially TPM, yet really think the Last Jedi was a good Star Wars film. Sequels are the weakest imo.

Good show when they skip the unrelated banter
Love the show! The hosts are TRUE fans of the franchise. Life their long memories and their ability to link elements across the books, shows, movies, etc! I would have given the show 5 stars, but they OFTEN go on long, boring, episodic rants. Example: the October 26, 2023 show was 48 minutes - they wasted the first 25 minutes on topics not related to the days theme !

    Good comedy and great interviews
Very fun podcast about Star Wars with the absolute best interviews. Dalton and Devan have great chemistry. Some of the takes are fascinating. Wrong. But fascinating. :). Always a good, fun and interesting listen.

    One of my Favorite Podcasts
Came for the recaps of my favorite Star Wars shows…stayed for the interesting discussions between all of the show hosts (miss you Lauren!) and the parade of special guests intimate with the production (the hosts even foreshadowed the actors/writers strikes and stocked up on all of the interviews)! Love all of the geekdom discussions and polls. Sorry, Devan, Yub Nub still reigns supreme. Thank you and keep the awesome podcasts coming!

May The Five Stars Be With You
This is a five star podcast for sure! I loved Dalton and crew on EW Radio back in the day, so to find this podcast was a real treat! Fun and deep discussions on all things Star Wars really fits the bill for me. Keep up the good work!

    Totally one with the force!
I discovered this podcast about a month ago and since then have listened to all the back episodes. I love the back and forth banter ands the interviews. There in depth episode recaps of last year’s releases has gotten me excited all over again and I have watched everything. Keep up the great work and may the force be with you!

    Disappointed - going downhill
I started to feel this towards the end of the Mandalorian season that they were light on content and analysis especially compared to other podcasts covering same content. Was excited to hear this episode because of the interview with Mon Moths / Genevieve OReilly but it was short and at the end.

Would be a 5 star review...
This podcast could be great. The interview portion of the podcast, saved for the end, is 5 stars. They have great guests that are involved with the Star Wars Universe with insight into this fantastic universe. However, the hosts of the podcast are not great fans of the franchise and take a jab at what they hate in every episode. As a fan of the franchase it makes listening hard. No one says you have to like everything but why focus on things you don't to the point it just becomes disingenuine? "It's probably the worst movie ever made" was where I had to stop listening in the last epiosde. If you are a SW fan then even the worst movie in the franchise would be a better watch than a thousand other movies that aren't SW related. So a statment like that tells me you either are not actually a fan or you don't really belive what you are saying. Either way, it means I am going to be skip what you have to say and only listen to the end, where the people that actually enjoy SW more than they hate it get to talk.

    Great Interviews!
I would recommend this podcast for the great interviews. I listen to A LOT of Star Wars podcasts, but this one sticks out to me as the hosts that I most often disagree with. It’s not a bad thing at all- the hosts get along great and make for interesting discussion- but they don’t seem to keep up with Star Wars fan culture (animation, books and comics, news outside of the movies & shows, internet trends) so they have some really different discussion than I’m used to hearing. For example… it seems that multiple hosts on the show prefer Yub Nub to Victory Celebration. That’s just crazy to me! I am Gen Z so I never heard Yub Nub with the movie, but Victory Celebration is perfect and quintessential John Williams- easily top 10 Star Wars musical moments. Everyone else I have heard from on this prefers Victory Celebration, from Original Trilogy kids to prequel kids and sequel kids. Even the people that don’t like the addition of Hayden Christensen to ROTJ usually prefer Victory Celebration as the “one good change” to the movie. All this to say, the hosts sometimes have questionable opinions but are always entertaining! I would give this show a listen, especially if you’re a more casual fan just looking for insight on movies and live-action TV. They are very professional interviewers and I always look forward to their new shows!

    No thanks
After 1 episode I find these people very annoying and not as clever as they think they are.

    Love these guys
I’m really enjoying this podcast. Sometimes it feels like I’m sitting around chatting with friends about Star Wars, but then they have these amazing interviews! An enjoyable listen.

    Team Yub Nub
    For sure

Too much complaining about the subject matter.
If you don’t like Star Wars then please give your host spot to someone who does? Who wants to hear people complain the whole time?
  • FlutterRBDash
    Perfect Mix
Most SW podcasts I’ve tried are either too long winded, too angry, too over analytical, or all three. With this you get fun, well paced conversation with just the right amount of criticism, followed by a big bonus of interviews with the show’s creatives. YMMV of course, but I’m a fan. Listen to it every week now. Also, who cares how you say Cap’n Crunch, everyone knows Lucky Charms were better anyway. ☘️
  • johnchristianplummer
    Please be more critical
I love much of Star Wars. But I am able to be critical about it. How can you call The Convert and most of season 3 of Mando anything but idiotic, simplistic, boring nonsense. We are light years away from Werner Herzog and season 1. I wish you would admit this.
  • Maulrat-
    Great SW talk
It’s a fun show because it’s like sitting around in a coffee shop chatting with fellow SW fans. Sometimes you agree, sometimes you think they’re way off (especially on the pronunciation of CAP’N Crunch) but that’s the fun. Plus, then you get the interviews with the key players of the universe.

    Andor recaps rock!
All of the podcasts episodes with a recap of the Andor shows and the interviews with the stars and creators have been epic! Thank you for all of the expansive coverage of Andor!
  • HighlandsBoy
    It’s fine I suppose
Come for the hosts’ solid access to Star Wars material, creators, content, etc., and genuinely entertaining discussions of all that. Leave once the repeated interjection of the word Like renders it unlistenable. It’s also weird that the hosts have spent the past 2 Disney+ shows (Obi Wan & Andor) repeatedly complaining about the pacing…while complimenting much of the story/show-content that seems specifically good because of how things are paced. But to each their own, I guess; it’s a very decent show.
  • Bryan G76
    Great Podcast!
I started listening during Obi-Wan and now I go straight to it after every episode of Andor - I love how it goes up right after the show drops and I always find the discussions very interesting. Through this podcast I also heard about and started listening to Devan’s other podcast - All Rings Considered - and although I wasn’t a huge Lord of the Rings guy I’m also loving that show and podcast. Hope you keep these up even after the current shows are over.
  • The flashback awsome app!

    Excellent Podcast
As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I love the variety of content you provide. This is a podcast that can definitely satiate an entrenched fan but is also accessible to someone new to the IP.

    Excellent podcast!!
Please do not just do the podcasts around the shows! I absolutely love how in depth the conversations are and the knowledge of all of the hosts.

The force is strong with the EW family
So nice to hear Dalton again! Loved Devan on Suoerhero Insider days and Lauren is new to me and I’m here for it! Love the interviews and speculation. Thanks for a great pod. Hope it doesn’t end when the show finishes up.

Love listening to people who clearly love the franchise (even when it’s not at its best) and have fun doing it. Instant follow.

    Fun topics and worthwhile interviews
A nice lighthearted podcast about all things Star Wars. The interviews with actors makes it more interesting than just a regular fan-made podcast. Definitely looking forward to more episodes.

    Enthusiastic and insightful
Love that these hosts are so hype about Star Wars, plus they’ve got one of my faves, Ewan McGregor, on the first ep. Can’t wait to see where this pod goes!

    War of the Stars!!!
The podcast hosts are absolute ✨stars✨ themselves, and it’s been a battle to decide who’s my favorite. Listening to them talk about the franchise is honestly delightful. They’re so knowledgable and thorough, which I really appreciate. Take a listen, you won’t regret it. Han shot first!!

The best thing to happen to Star Wars!!!!
I like Star Wars a lot, but I’m not a super fan. BUT this podcast might be changing that! Listening to this pod is so fun! So insightful! Everything that Devan says is perfection!!! Listen right now!!! JUST DO IT!!!

    Star Wars Virgin
I will admit that I’ve never seen a Star Wars movie (I’m saving it for marriage), but I do love listening to this podcast so I understand the basics of the saga. And I’m 100% a Devan girl
  • HTTWTF
    FANTASTIC!
Instantly subscribed to this new podcast from EW and Dalton Ross! Hearing Dalton breakdown Survivor and The Washington Commanders on a weekly basis is a delight, now he adds a weekly dispatch on the greatest film franchise ever!!!! Who can ask for more?!?! LOVE IT!

    Most Fun In The Galaxy
I’m a big Star Wars fan and a big Dalton Ross fan, so to say this hits my sweet spot is an understatement. Terrific pod - it could probably win a pod-race. Amazing how much Star Wars knowledge they can drop so casually. 5 stars!
  • Riggenz
New weekly Star Wars content? Yes, please
Fun talk about the movies, animated shows, live action series, books and more. With Ewan McGregor on the first episode? Get some!

    Life's too short
Because life’s too short for EW podcast running times, I skipped ahead to the credits, which brings the Darren and Kristen's idiocracy together. The credits also features drivel and a masked virgin set to some truly ridiculous retro-softcore music. I do think there’s room for a mature-content podcast romp in our post-listening to the podcast review universe, but eternal exposition runs alongside a tin ear for dialogue.

Life is too short. Find any other Podcast.
This podcast is a waste of time. There are hundreds if not thousands of other Star Wars podcasts out there. You would be better to check out any of those. This person puts in little to no effort into the material because he has better things to do.

    Terrible Critic and terrible podcast
    Don’t waste your time. Horrible.
  • Okami_G
Entertainment Weekly’s Podcast is Nakedly Terrible
I forced myself to listen to the first 5 minutes of it for this review. Because life’s too short for podcast running times, I skipped to the end and was confused. Alas, my destiny is to never listen to this borefest again. Grade: F

    Missing the Point
If you love people complaining and being negative, this is your podcast! I don’t know why they even bother. It’s one thing to “review” films but it’s another to just whine, stutter, and pretend like you know how to even make a movie. Do yourself a favor and search for the Binge Mode podcast. They review, and critique, and do everything professionals do, but you’ll enjoy the hell out of it along the way.

    Stuttering Mess
Just awful. I thought I had it set to 2X speed. Fast talking with stuttering nonsense.
